You seem to be of african or african american descent. (i'm mixed) Laser can't be used on our skin. Whether it is to remove tatoos or hair. Salons will probably refuse you, but even if they accept don't it will cause permanent scarring on the treated areas because of the melanine in our skin. Light therapy works for mediteranean types,(slightly tanned) but not for our skin. Exfoliating works really good for ingrown hair, sugar+coconut oil for example 2x a week and then remove the hair (never shave, it worsens ingrown hair !!) I use this to remove the hair, works on me. It's painless (only a bit uncomfortable) compared to wax and less complicated and time consuming.
