Thank you, Michelle! I LOVE Canva but I have stayed away from it for my worksheets because I find the tools overwhelming at times and I know I can VERY easily go down a 3 hour rabbit hole for one activity sheet. I just can't afford that kind of time for one worksheet. Your tutorial will help me "cut the crap" and enable me to fine tune my Canva efficiency. This is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much! 🙏🏻
Aww, thank YOU so much for the super kind feedback! I’m with you that it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole, but I think it gets easier to avoid if you put time restraints on yourself… for example, “I have to create this in 20 minutes”. It forces you to get the most important parts done first and then you can “fancy” it up if there’s time left.
Even though I feel comfortable eith Canva, I never liked how my designs turned out. This was really easy and now I know how to format my worksheets better!!
Happy Friday, Michelle! I have been absolutely loving all your videos on Canva. I was talking with my sister and some other teachers about the variety of tools and templates on Canva. I loved the Office clip about getting from place to place creatively! 😋 Anyway, I always appreciate the inspiration you bring with your Friday videos. They're the perfect start to my weekend. Speaking of weekends, I hope yours is fantastic! 💜
Aww, you’re so sweet as always Mandy! 🥰 Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I totally agree that Canva can do SO much and I love that you share it with other teachers as well! I hope you have a great week ahead and your weekend was restful and relaxing 🎉🖤
I loved following along with your tutorial. You make the process of creating a page, less daunting with minimal distractions. Thank you! [Also, I love the organization behind you. So clean and fresh! ]
Thank you so much for taking the time to help us teachers. You are truly amazing. I’m not looking to reinvent the wheel here 😂so, I’ll try my best to incorporate the ready to go templates for the sake of time and my chronic anxiety.
Question: which program do you prefer to use in order to create these types of worksheets etc...Powerpoint or Canva? Why? Great video! Love that you mention the quick keys!
Aww, thank you so much! Honestly, I haven’t used PowerPoint in several years. Between Google Slides and Canvas, I definitely prefer creating in Canva because there are more features. You can import your own fonts, have access to built in images and videos, and have more sharing and export choices. All around, Canva can do a lot more than Google Slides!
Love this video. 8n science we have a teachers aid that kinda sits by me. She asked the teacher Do you know how to resize things on google slides I yelled I DO!! So I showed her page setup and hopefully that helped her
Great video as always. Do you know if I can edit an existing pdf doc in Canva or can suggest another program? I send pdf docs to some of my remote learners and they send me answers in pdf format which I would like to mark and edit but am having trouble. Thanks for all the work you share.
Hi, this may be a silly question, but I've tried to look up how to fix my issue. When watching our video, you go from making the border to then the clip of adding a text box. I am following along and making what you are doing. However, on this step I cannot get rid of the resizing handles and there is a cursor in the center like I have already created a text box, which I haven't. I don't see that your screen looks like that. This also makes it so when I try the shortcuts for text box or line, it just types the letters "L" or "R". Sorry this is so long and maybe a dumb question! Thank you for all you do!
I’m using the pro version but educators can get access to all the pro features for free! But also, the free version of Canvas will allow you to do everything I showed in this video but you will be more limited with the access you have to some of the images and elements without a pro account.
That is correct! Any kind of license or subscription for a service you plan on using to create resources for commercial use needs to be separate from an “educator” account you have!
We can't get enough of your tips and tricks! 🤩

And that's why you should shop at Teachers pay Teachers, let someone else spend the time creating it.

I’m not even a teacher and your videos are so entertaining to me!

Thanks for sharing this Michelle
Thanks for watching Harrison!
Thank-you, that was helpful. From a teacher who is trying to figure this out! And to get with the century 🙂
Great informative video. Thanks 😊
Thank you! This is very helpful! I would love to see any update for TPT Stores recommendations for 2025.
Hi! I loved this video. Quick question - is this something you would be able to sell on TPT?

Aww, that’s so great to hear! Yes, Canva is fantastic for resizing designs easily 🎉 Total game changer!

Thank you so much for watching! I actually covered how to edit a PDF in this video:

Fantastic video
Can I use these worksheet templates (whilst adding my own stuff) to sell on Teachers Pay Teachers or would you recommend I make my own to sell?

Hi
Love your videos, when you say just R just T. What key is just. Thanks
If I want to sell my worksheets online I probably cannot use the teacher license right?
That is correct! Any kind of license or subscription for a service you plan on using to create resources for commercial use needs to be separate from an “educator” account you have!
please keep them coming. If you create an online class I would attend. Don't make it too pricey, please. lol
Thank you so much for your feedback! 🥰
Why you are giving protractor ? Here student should use their own tool and rhen should measure
It depends on the standard and what students are expected to do! This was just an example to show how to add in images. Don’t overthink it 😉
@@PocketfulofPrimaryI like the use of the protractor to help get the correct angle. I could remove the image after setting my angles.
Loved the video! Sorry for the hiatus recently! I’ve had so many events to go to on Fridays! 🤍
Aww, thank you so much Jack! Also, I totally understand… no worries! 🥰🖤
love it
