I like your "who was drafted before..." especially when you have players who actually had good talent/better talent drafted before your player. Keep them coming
Julio would be first in yards but has less games played bc he was drafted one season after AB and missed 12 games in 2013. Julio does lead in ypg all time and most ypg in the playoffs as well. Julio will end up with more yards at the end of his career but AB will end with the most tds by wr ever.
You can tell your already gonna be big the first video When I subbed was your rise of the bears video and you have already grown so much since then I saw it with TKO in 2016 and I see it with you
The problem with a lot of Grigson's picks was that he had a lot of "He could've been good but-" players. Henry Anderson, Vick Ballard, Jack Mewhort all had promise but were injured all the time. Jonathon Newsome and Lavon Brazill both had some moments, but failed drug tests. Geathers is pretty damn good when he's actually on the field, and Austin Blythe has been solid for the Rams
Josh Berger thing about grigson wasn’t those picks, it was he couldn’t put together a good free agency period while he was with the colts, it just seemed to me he was just hoping that a lot of his picks would turn out to be better than average players, getting frank gore wasn’t bad but u don’t get a ground and pound back after his prime to run behind a mediocre o line, he never added any reasonable depth
Aaron Figueroa Castanzo was a Polian player. No, Grigson’s problem really was bad drafting and an over reliance on free agency. He drafted a bunch of injury prone/character issue players at positions we didn’t need. Couple that with overpaying old/one-hit wonder players and we never had players that could stay on the roster to develop depth. A good NFL GM doesn’t make a roster out of free agents, they build through the draft and add free agents that round out the team
Josh Berger that’s what I was kind of referring to, I didn’t say he could get any free agents to come, I said he couldn’t put together a good free agency period, where, like u said, got older players mainly after 2014 that made the team worse, couldn’t protect Andrew Luck, couldn’t put together a solid enough defense, the main reason he stayed in Indy for 5 seasons(as well as chuck Pagano for 6 seasons) was because of Andrew Luck and TY basically putting the team on their back and making sure we never had a losing record
My MAN.... #ghost that’s MY WR1💪💪💪 ty get slept on, most underrated in the nfl EASILY. Top 10 on his worst day. We good here in Indy, Ballard building us a DYNASTY, MARK MY WORDS! TY is the most underrated player in the league. He can rip apart any defensive back unit in the league, he’s clutch as hell and he’s consistent. Went to the pro bowl 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Led the league in receiving yards in 2016. He shredded the legion of boom defense against the Seahawks who were undefeated going in to that game in 2013, the year the Seahawks won the SB. He’s also had 1,000 yard seasons 4 years in a row 2013-2016. For most of TY’s career, he was the only offensive weapon Andrew luck had. TY gets overlooked because he plays for a small market team and 2015-2017, he played with an injured Andrew luck, an old Matt Hasselback, 2nd string QB Scott Tolzien and Decent QB Jacoby Brissett. TY can play with any QB. Most other WR’s like Brown, Jones and Beckham haven’t played with other QB’s Beckham’s and Browns careers are either make it or break it because Odell is going to the Browns and AB is going to Oakland to play with Carr. TY is an elite receiver. Anyone who thinks differently is wrong
Yeah but look at Ryan leaf. Same thing here. Just because you can perform like a beast at a college level, that doesn't ensure that you could make it at the professional level. A good scout would recognize this...
Johnnie lee There are some intangibles that prevent college players from becoming nfl stars that scouts just can’t decipher, plus the coaches probably believed that the could have taught guys like leaf and Blackmon to harness their gifts
@@Oryxself1 yeah i suppose you're right. It just amazes me that some people can be a shining start one minute, then fizzle right out the next. I'm just thankful that the Colts have, probably one of the greatest scouts of all time. Her hardly ever misses
K I'm not even kidding right now, there's another UA-cam channel that does this also... but u are legit 1000 times better, cause u show the stats! I love that! The other guy doesn't show stats
i guess having a andrew luck as qb, even while he was a rookie either, and a reggie wayne as undoubtly nr 1 receiver helps a young wr quite a lot to get used to the nfl speed i think that has helped T.Y. on getting as good as he is now
I think Jeffery vs Hilton is a case of what you need in a WR, Jeffery is a possession receivers and Hilton a deep threat, personally I think we needed Jeffery over Hilton at the time. Sanu has been a good number 2 so is what you should expect for his draft position.
Hind sight is great but without knowing of his disastrous future I would still have drafted Justin Blackmon. That man was a beast. I'm sad he could not get his life on track.
Great football channel i.m glad you are growing quickly you put a lot of effort into your vids late this year or next year I see you hitting 100k subscribers.
I would have much rather had Jeffery in the situation Chicago was in. Chicago had Hester as their burner, as well as not fully knowing if Johnny Knox was going to recover and return. Also with Earl Bennett as a reliable slot receiver. Knowing Marshall’s age as well looking for that 50/50 ball receiver to turn into their number one was a priority. Also the Bears were still under Lovie Smith, who was more of a run first type player, and with Mike Tice taking over for Martz, he predominantly wanted to run the ball as well, and what better way to run the ball then to have two big bodied receivers blocking. It’s easy to look at statistics and what ifs, but scheme has to be brought into this. A lot of teams probably didn’t think TY would fit into the system in place, and who knows if how TY would have fit into other systems, take Stephen Hill for example, if you swap them out and put Hill with Luck and put Hilton with Sanchez/Geno, how would it of played out. That’s a what if game, more so, like I said previously, I feel like bringing in a teams offensive system to this and who they have already with a similar skill set would have made this even better, it’s still a good video
I love how you actually think that all the rosters would have looked the same if they had picked TY instead. As if some of these recievers would wanna compromise salary and lower their receptions
I feel like Blackmon and Floyd was ok they just had drinking problems I feel like the teams would’ve still taken them. They just would’ve given those guys way more help
