Lovely machine. I've never ridden a Norton but have always admired them. Just not enough to spend money on one... It's a good thing this channel is named as it is. Without the channel name, I'd never have known where the narrator is from. I'd have guessed Essex or maybe Devon...
Nice to see a chap do a job so well and “liked” just for having the best accent in Britain! My Yorkshire roots may be making me biased though😂. I wonder, could the misfire be HT leads or plugs? The only other thing springs to mind is petrol…this “green” stuff has a stupidly short shelf life. I stored my bike with high octane storage fuel over winter and it started and ran beautifully after a five month lay up.
Thanks! best county yorkshire, but i may also be biased. The miss cleared up by the time i was home. I normally store mine with a little additive, and it's not any trouble. YB 😁😊👍
I am 90% sure it's 21 from memory, sure it was 19 teeth when i got it, and it was a little revvy for me. It's a lot better now, i think it's what was on interstate as standard. Hope that helps YB
I have a 73 850 and l bought the Andover Norton 13mm master cylinder rebuilt the calliper and fitted a braided brake hose and it has definitely improved the front brake. I must admit though it’s not as good looking as your Commando.
Its nice and tidy but it's not mint as i use it for a run about, just when the weather is good though. I've decided to stick with the standard master cylinder , just fitted Ferodo pad's so see what that's like. 👍YB
Maybe you had a resleeved master and who know how it was done. The 13 mm I got fromAndover works like a charm. It has feel instead of a wood block plus addition stopping power.
For those of us old enough to remember when petrol was priced in gallons (and given the demographics of British motorcyclists that is probably most of us) it’s too painful to work out what the current price is per gallon, but thanks anyway. I thought maybe you downloaded the video to update the price per gallon but apparently not !

Hello from Burry Port, 15 miles west of Swansea. Your bike has a nice relaxed gait to it mate. May I ask how many teeth the front sprocket has ?
I am 90% sure it's 21 from memory, sure it was 19 teeth when i got it, and it was a little revvy for me.

No the forward facing picture quality is poor and i tried to improve it, unsuccessfully. Mind you it doesn't hurt as much as the price of petrol. 😁👍
