The puffing billy now allows people to sit on the windows again, I went to Melbourne Australia during the winter in 2022 and when I went to puffing billy everyone was sitting on the window sills and we were allowed
Hie! Bonjour! I lived in Belgrave, Monbulk and Mr Martha. My daughter was born in Upper Ferntree Gully ! ! Ilove this place. Can you tell me if Caméo Cinéma and it's coffee shop still exist in Belgrave. I am Véronique I worked there. I Love Australie !!
Hello! I am confused here but the Trees adventure is located at Belgrave correct and not at Mount Dandenong? Would it take around 3-4 hours to see the Kokoda Trail alone?
They're less than 10kms away from each other. The 1000 steps walk takes around 90 mins or so. You can stop and read the plaques and there's a café so you make it a longer trip if you like.
Hi Phill. Living up here in The Hills, I must say; William Ricketts Sanctuary is a must - natural endemic plantings - no 'formal' location You have bushland here. Come with respect and please don't intrude on other's serenity who maybe there. It is NOT a theme park. Next: Burkes Lookout... easy walk, go to under the TV and Radio Transmission Towers... which are seen from City and most suburbs of Melbourne proper. Keep an eye out far ahead on lesser used tracks for snakes. Don't be a moron and try intimidating or catching 'em - Fast Angry Snake = Death. Pretty obvious... don't try picking up an Echidna. Watch out for Drop Bears. ** Formal sculptured gardens like a carbon copy of 'English' isn't my thing... but, less chance of Drop Bear attack unless it's a blood thirsty one or their tourist hunting season.
Mind if I ask how many snakes you’ve seen in your xxx amount of years in the hills? I’ve been lucky enough to not see one yet, but I did find a scorpion in my firewood...
Great informative video! Thank you!
