The Valiant should be everyone's second plane. It is a sweet heart.
Thank you I'm thinking of adding this as my next plane. I have an aeroscout and a TrojanT-28 as my main flyer. A friend at the club says he may sell me his Valiant. Thank you a good video showing the capabilities of the plane. Thank you.
100% ! ! ! ! The most fun, most basic, yet most incredible to fly. Highly Recommend Getting One!
Nice flights guys. I got to fly mine with safe off for 4 fights last week and I agree with TJ, I love this plane. Looking forward to getting to fly with you guys again.
Heck ya! Come by any time, We had a great time flying with you.
I get 15 Minutes on a 2250 mah with some lite tricks it's my first plane I mostly fly wings and heli and and drones I love it
I am not sure we have gotten that long of flight, but we have flown for a lot longer than the video shows. It is throttle management and weather conditions. Great flying plane. Thanks for watching.
Can confirm. I get 15 mins with the same parameters. Flaps and about 50% throttle lead to a pretty long flight time.
I'm at 13 mins on a 2200 with a good amount of throttle and no flaps. The 5 mins on your video seemed pretty short.
It's had a new fuselage and new wings that plane, but it's still the plane he has owned for many years
Just a new fuselage. We only did that for the video tho other one still flew it just looked rough! lol
@@tjschooley7495 so what caused the crash?
I ran out of talent!! I was flying in a heavy wind and for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to use the flaps to land like I normally did, but I stalled it then it nosed over and broke the front of the plane off! lol I repaired it and flew it but I did wind up replacing the fuselage shortly before we did the video. Good learning experience!
I loves me my Valiant
Love these planes but you cannot get them in the UK
Check your Esc.
It will take 4s.
I've flown mine countless times on 4s, 27+ mph.
The wing near the rear hardware did crack from the high winds, foam cure repaired to like new condition.
50 more flights at least.
This one came with a 30amp esc don’t think I’m brave enough to risk it!
5 minute timer?? I have 2 Valiants. One with wheels and the other with floats. On a 3S 2200 I can usually easily get 15 minutes flying at half throttle which seems the most realistic to me.
How did the flaps cause you to stall, if you can elaborate on that? Just getting into this hobby considering picking up this one as a my 2nd.
Looks pretty good for all the abuse. All of my planes look way worse than that. Yep wheel pants don't work on grass and bigger wheels are always better.
I loved that plane, but replacement fuselage will be in stock mid october 2022 🤦♂ Wouldn't buy it again
2-25-24....I put larger wheels on my Valiant but it still noses over trying to take off on grass. Grass is NOT very long. Is it balance? I see videos of folks easily launching from grass with original wheels and skirts???
I had a similar problem until I noticed I had the landing gear on backwards. (It looks to be symmetrical at first glance, but it's not.)
That's exactly what I had done...😊
Video looks good but there is no sound or am i going deaf.
Tried a couple different devices. Sound worked on each one. Dunno.
