I just bought a YJ, and have been watching frame repair videos for the past week-- and your welds arn't any worse than a million other UA-camrs. I've been dealing with keyboard welders for over 15 years, ever since I joined my first automotive forum.
Nice, did similar on my cherokee with 2x8 and tied it back to the unibody that has stiffeners, My roll cage lands on the rocker at the tie in points. Cool wagoneer
I spent way too much money replacing my rotted rockers, after getting a ticket for inspection--- it passed, and currently looks great.. but next time I have to replace rusted out panels, or repair structure... I'm going to be improving it, not just replacing it with stock stuff.
you crap at weldin but it will hold. Awsome dude...
@sebbeforsberg1600 Thanks for watching!

Had a lot working against me on those welds. Rusty metal. thickness mismatched. Upside down on my back. "It's good enough for the girls we date" lol

It was cheaper to weld in the thicker metal than getting patch panels to weld in.
@@winchoutdoors I'm definitely not surprised, and its an upgrade this way too
