I made a Steamboat Willie game - Origins of Oswald and Mickey

- This is a prototype for a game I'm working on called 'Oswald and Mickey', right now the game only features Oswald, but I will keep working on the game.
It's a reimagined version of the origins and story behind characters Oswald, Mickey, Peg-Leg Pete, and the origin of the Steamboat Willie.
BEFORE YOU PLAY THE GAME, please note it's short but challenging, you might have to memorize the level or have very good reflexes if you want to beat it. I hope you don't get frustrated, I certainly did, but I like hardcore games.
This level is meant to be part of the first scene in the timeline of the story I made. Comment your thoughts and ideas!

Why does everyone forget about julius
From the Alice Comedies? He Exists. But I never saw his work since he debuts in the Middle-ish period in 1924 and 1925
I only know him in Animation history from Otto Mesmer's Partner getting livid at Maragaret Winkler for essentially letting Walt make a Felix the Cat Knock off under his nose.@@joshuacollins6903

@@xanderdevelops Technically you were both wrong. Poor Papa is the first produced Oswald cartoon-- oh, you said _released._ Yes, like Plane Crazy vs Steamboat Willie, there is a first produced and rejected cartoon; eventually Poor Papa was released as the 21st short.

This is pretty cool, the only thing i have a problem with is you calling Great Guns the first Oswald cartoon released, when in actuality it was Trolley Troubles being the first released, with Poor Papa being the first made, but it was held back until 1928, but either way this looks great and im looking forward to it

Doing good so far actually very good you can continue making it better and better if more and more updates if you want but it's still cold because it's based off my favourite character in Disney history Oswald the lucky rabbit

@@emeraldhamster ah got it😅. Yeah I saw Rubber Hose Rampage and it doesn’t look like a serious game, it’s more of a direct parody of Cuphead featuring Mickey and Minnie. But I do appreciate your positive first reaction towards this prototype

A few things I'd recomend adding/changing would be giving oswald the flying ability that he had in epic mickey, and make the level more vertical

it is very responsive, but I think the player should be able to take at least 3 hits before dyeing, like in cuphead .

I think oswald should have some more abilitys he could use like his body parts likevinbepic mickey 2 he uses his arm as a boomerang. Or something new like a leg pogo stick or he could use his ears as wips. Lots of ideas 😆

This isn’t that great the animation is choppy and the sprites are descent
