Jumped on this split as soon as I read the notes. Soooo many of my favorite notes and I’m a huge Amouage fan! Great breakdown and appreciate the split! 🙏 👊🏽
I tested this on my skin and it smelled similar to Mancera Red Tobacco (at least in the opening). Need a decant first or maybe I’ll bring my red tobacco when I visit the Amouage shop to do side by side comparison before deciding for a full bottle.
To be fair, its a good fragance. But to my nose is too close to Eau de Baux from L'occitane (which cost quarter of the Amouage). So this was a great letdown.
Got my pre order from the amouage website. I am greedy and want the whole bottle for myself lol. That being said i think the perfumer pallet is getting thin and that amber wood accord you talk about is something everyone is using and only the most talented perfumers can take a synthetic amber wood accord and make it shine by surrounding it with high quality naturals. Cant wait to smell this and i am wearing it even if its 100 degrees here in TX when it arrives lol
I still have not got the chance to smell oveture enclave or ashore yet lol as soon as i get close to owning most of the amouge more pop put lmao down thr rabbit hole again cant wait to smell this one .

I just picked mine up for $149 from Aurafragance. Not as unique as other Amouages but still worth having.
It is now sold in my country for 150$... I'll go test it and might get a bottle.

Overture is much stronger. Boundless is no sloudge, but Overture is the better performing
