#99 Cave of Apocalypse walk in Patmos island, Greece

The Cave of the Apocalypse is situated about halfway up the mountain on the Aegean island of Patmos, along the road between the villages of Chora and Skala. This grotto is believed to mark the spot where John of Patmos received his visions that he recorded in the Book of Revelation. In 1999, UNESCO declared the cave a joint World Heritage Site together with the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian.

This video is wonderful. After leaving Patmos only days ago, I can tell you that this video walk made me miss Patmos even more than I thought I already did. While you can prepare yourself to see the island and the holy sites by watching wonderful videos like this, I encourage you to spend as much quiet time at the Cave on your own. Bring your journal. Close your eyes and pray there. Stay as long as you can. Contemplate. Meditate. I wept when I entered the cave. It is truly profound. The video captures so much just by having the priest chanting in the background. Thank you so much.

Oh boy, many thanks! What a nice and beautiful video. Very well and genuinely filmed, and the place is just the one where the whole of the Book of Revelation was told by The Todo-Poderoso King Christ Himself ! Told to Johannes and to us all. @@1blessedchick37 -copyright laws don't apply to images drawn in caves 2000 years ago. But we know why.the images of christ look very dark

My question is why didn't he focus on the first painting on the wall before entering 🤔 ( we know that the disciples, as well as the Messiah looked like so called negros. ( Revelation 1:13-15)

Jesus was a Jew according to the flesh, so he was not white or black but I will think tanned skin.. and the apostle John was Jew as well.. wherever color
