Iffy, I’m glad to see you switched on gold field. I hope you will do this with the Deus 2 and the others. I would have liked to seen that small coil in gold field mode. When I’m hunting gold, that’s what I use.
@@IffySignals That is what will get people excited - it's performance on GF running 40kHz. If it can pick up small pieces of gold between 2 to 4+ inches down, it'll make it a great Jack of All Trades machine. Not gonna beat something like the Axiom or the 5000 or 6000 with a small coil, but it will be a good known surface gold area machine.
Have you heard any info on if Minelab or Coiltek will be releasing a larger coil than the 15" for the Manticore? We get the 18" for the Nox and Xterra Pro in a month
Hi buddy will the 15 x 12 minlab equinox coil work well on the manticore or do you need to buy a specific manticore 15 x 12 coil. Im new to using it anc just got my Manticore yesterday:) cheers for your vids realky enjoy watching:)
Can you please tell me how deep is 15 inch coil on large targets with minimum reactivity? Is it deeper than deus 2 13” coil with 0 reactivity? Pls answer,ty
Good Stuff with the Manticore. Can you use any of the Equinox coils on this detector? Thanks for doing these kinds of videos for us... Happy Hunting. Peace
@@IffySignals Thanks Buddy. Cause If I am going to invest money on the Manticore then I would have to buy the other coils then.. Got it.. How much more of a detector you get with this one over the 900/700. I mean is it worth the money? Or do you think the 700 is good for the Normal beach/ park hunts. As I know I am not a relic hunter..
I don’t even know how to describe it thats why i put it next to the dime in the pic, its very thin. Even above ground its not more than an inch or two on an air test. The gold bracelets that have the clasp, its the clasp but flattened. I have a couple smaller pieces of the same but the machines will not hit it unless in gold mode. Even this one i spent an hour or so trying to make a good test at 2” deep because if its next to any trash in the ground it will not hit the gold. Has to be a clean spot. Had a bunch of requests for small gold and this is as small as i can test without only using gold mode and who is going to hunt in gold mode all the time so that seemed useless for me to show. These machines (D2,900,manticore,legend) are the top dogs but none of them are dedicated gold machines offering a high 70+khz range that would be considered a dedicated gold machine. You would not want that anyway because running that range only will impact your deep high conductors like silver.
Thank you Mike for sharing with us.
Welcome Jimmy
Great testing and evaluations Mike. Thank you man.
Thanks Tim
Thank you for sharing the new coils
You got it bud!
Those coils are awesome Mike. I like the test 👍
Thanks Ray!
Great video Mike. Im ready to get my hands on that smaller coil for the Beast. Love it!
Thx Tony!
Can't wait to get the coils. Thanks.
Thx Gary

Thx Ken, was a last sec demo on GF but 8” hits it allot better in GF as well.

im glad you ran the 40 khz gold field mode to show a comparison, i find 15 khz is also good on the gold
Thanks!
Thanks for testing, buddy!
No problem 👍
brilliant , i will be getting the 15 for my clean deep pasture
Nice! let me know how you like it.
Very cool video. Thanks for sharing.

Haven’t heard. Still hoping the 8 and 15 get to the usa soon.
Great video as always. Have you been given any indication by ML when these coils will be available to the general public?
Hey Jeff, thank you! No word from them on that. I was just given the ok to show them last week.

Hey Chris, the manticore has its own coils. The Equinox coils will not work.
Thanks
Welcome Fred!
Some of us out here just happy to have one manti lol
Definitely
What one do you recommend more... I wish they had something in the middle of both sizes..
Me too! 8 is to small for me. Would like a 9”

Its only 1” deeper than the 11”. I have not used the D2 13”.
Why is it that I can’t find the small coil anywhere? Where did you get yours, and what is the cost on the small coil?
Hey Randy, i heard they were on the way. Not sure on cost and i have had mine for testing.
@@IffySignals Yeah, I’ve heard they’re on the way for 5 months! 😊

What is “a tiny piece of gold”?

@@IffySignals okay I thought it might of been a gold nugget
