If y’all want to know what the Democrats campaigns could have done to show they cared for the people , we’ll start with the people !! Ask the poor , elderly, LGBTQA communities , the black , single women working 2-3 jobs to support her kids , the grandparents in their 60’s-80’s raising their grands and great grands on SS checks , ask the veterans , just ask the people , and stop spending the millions on advertising and huge signs and shiny things wasting money where it would actually help the people you want to vote you in !! I am a lifelong democrat , I voted for Harris/Walz and up snd down ballot for the democratic party , i truly believe the Democrats are the party that gives a crap about we the people and works to make our country better for us all !! But they don’t stand up against the republicans enough to make sure the working taxpayers are not over taxed and under paid , while the republicans are demanding for more money for the rich, out sourcing our jobs , selling off our lands and businesses to other countries , and taking away our rights and freedoms while trying to control us !! For any party “ If you want our votes, our support, and our respect” respect the voters and look out for our interest , that’s what we elect and pay your salary to do !!
Biden signed into law the Marriage Equality Act, increased subsidies for Obamacare that significantly reduced the minority uninsured, capped out of pocket drug costs for Medicare recipients at $2k, increased the child tax credit that significantly reduced poverty and canceled $4 billion in school loans for public workers (Supreme Court wouldn’t let him do more). The problem with our social media obsessed society is that most people no longer follow policy and are unaware of Biden’s achievements.
You said it - the old statis quo from the DNC seems to be stuck in its methodology. I like Ben Wikler's ideas for doing a better job of addressing what you have laid out in your comment. This guy hasn't really given any examples of how he would address these issues.
We did ask what these Americans needed. I and many people went door to door asking for voters' priorities. However, how many of these voters actually voted? How many listened to misinformation and believed it? Then voted for the conman himself, Trump. Now, these voters are screwed!! These vulnerable populations are now in danger of losing their ability to exist. Veterans may lose their benefits, retirees may lose their social security and reasonably priced Medicare, grandkids losing their Medicaid/health benefits, public schools gone - many students lose their special education assistance... why because voters are too damn uninterested and apathetic to read and get the real news.
20:00 IMO, it's not about fighting for, it's about fighting with. I think the issue is partially that a solution is decided, and presented as a complete package, with little input from those it will impact. Edit: We need to engage a vast sea of people in organized efforts, in every part of the nation. And the only way I can think might work is to ask what they need fixed and work with them to get it fixed.
Marc, TY for this channel!!!! One thing the DEMS NEED TO REMEMBER is that frump has been CAMPAINING FOR 10 YRS AND HE HAS NEVER STOPPED!!! The margin was so short! She only had months when the opponent had yrs!!! We need to reach the NON-VOTING and the NEW voters!!! IN 2026/2028 WE HAVE NO EXCUSES!!!!
The biggest thing that the Democrats can do to help themselves is to have the Democratic leaders go on podcasts that are friendly to them. Since that's where people go for their information rather than NBC CBS ABC CNN etc
Absolutely. They need to talk loudly and repetitively on social media about what they care about and have achieved. They need to stand up to the GQP and not let the GQP dictate the conversation. Stop being distractd. Just keep repeating what they are doing, have done, and plan to do and why it's not getting done. Loudly. Repeatedly. And stand against the tax games and crimes!
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Ken had an accurate & appropriate assessment on a number of things, which were things that I was pleased to hear him acknowledge.
@@melissalayson7275 Yes, but we cannot control how other countries conduct themselves. We can only decide what we want to support here in your own country. Unless and until we stop focusing on race and start focusing much more on human needs and the conditions that policies just keep making worse by pulling necessary programs then we are sunk anyway.
Start giving Americans a history lesson. Ie, which party secured overtime benefits, etc. Dems need a TV station, to state the truth. Stop being reactive. Start being proactive!
We need to be a populist party and message it well. Much of what Biden did for Americans was not messaged. Trump had a very simple message, be it lies, but he managed to convince people that he was going to help them. I have been frustrated watching my family think that we t IMO would be good for them.
While id prefer Ben just because of his track record in running ahead of Dems and being the chair of the state closest to just being the national environment, Ken Martin really is surprising me. I think if it comes down to those two we might get some seriously good discussion out of it. Maybe some actual change.
You know, I messaged AOC on Blue Sky on the 6th to ask her why there wasn't a single Democrat who voiced the 14th amendment objection to the qualification of Donald Trump to be president, not one, not even her. Do you know what she said? Nothing. She hasn't answered me.
@@GingerGM01 Why is our party populated by so many people who are looking for someone to listen to? Don't you think that the problem really is that they need to listen to us?
Y'all, please take care of your health. Everyone is tired and we cannot have anything happen to the keepers of our Democracy, y'all are going to be in the courtroom, not us. Y'all are going to be up at night writing briefs, not us. Please, take care of yourselves.
With the way things are today, I am waiting for the person that says they want to get money out of politics. I think if you talk to anybody about anything today that is the number one issue, nothing can be fixed until the money is gone. Because the donors are running both sides of this party. We all know it you know it and it's time to do something about it!
And how do you get the message to people who don't have the free time to listen? Working at poverty level, frequently more than one job, doesn't leave a lot of leisure time for listening to news on podcasts or TV. How do we reach them?
Dems should submit bills that would improve the lives of the people whether they are doomed or have no possibility of passing. Let the Republicans tell lie after the lie on why they don't support it.
Thank you Marc for all you do!!! A true patriot!! I'm so worried about these next 4 years - we may NEVER elect a Dem again, if they have their way because maggats cheat!!! Thank you for staying with us and Happy New Year!!!
How were ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES tabulated yesterday when apparently 21 STATES NEVER SUBMITTED THEIR ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES ? WERE THEY IGNORED? VERY UPSETTING.🇺🇸💙📮🗳⚖🗽
My recap: 1. Campaign reform themselves. Grassroots, boot leather, cardboard signs, get to the rural backwoods areas and all groups that were lost. 2. Civics 101 basics in simple form to all age groups. R wing is oppressing how govt should work for them and oppressing their children in school for basic education, not even including civics. Grassroots civics on their porch! It is complicated and confusing. They don’t know they can email their representatives right from their phone. They don’t know their kids education is horrible and where their state is compared to all others. They are told education is woke but their R wing leaders children are going to University. It’s not woke then. 3. They have no idea any of the legislation Joe B did or know what the word “legislation” means. They don’t know what the unemployment data is or where to find it and the fact that Joes numbers are highest in history. If you don’t tell them on their porch and show the evidence it will never sink in. Dems aren’t aggressively pushing back on the R wing lies in a matter of seconds. Only a few, like Ron Filipkowski is in real time combatting this. Not ok. Dems should be on R wing podcasts and L wing podcasts every week! Work out a schedule and push back. Hire social media teams to work with them. They can’t do both jobs. SM is full time. We can support their SM and comment, repost, etc. Dems need to speak in basic terms, no flash, so shiny signs. Show that you are good stewards of money. Cardboard campaign signs, bus tours. Spend money on combatting mental health cult issues and how to connect with them. Be transparent in how you are spending money on people, not big shiny stadiums, airplanes, etc. Development of modernized Schoolhouse Rocks public service education for all age levels to empower folks to get involved and it doesn’t need to be so complicated that they lose interest Kiddos need to learn as well so they embrace their civic duties and become involved, confident adults that stand up for their families rights, education and prosperity. Get the kiddos to break the R wing suppression. - You may not be into politics, but politics are into you and your personal life.
I think Ken Martin should focus on doing OUTREACH, outside of the Metro areas, within Minnesota. That’s something that we have seen a real LACK of, for many years. That, along with disinformation, is one of the many reasons that the GOP has gained ground and voters within MN! Support the Iron Range DFL, Ken and maybe you’ll regain support
Good information Marc and these videos can sound even better. If you would drop the music at the beginning and the end it overwhelms what you're trying to say.
I agree, but my reps are more like me than some billionaire with gold toilets. The party as a whole is more like me with middle to low class backgrounds, small business owners, manufacturing jobs, bartenders, farmers etc. Is it everyone no. But to push for this, the system has to change where people Can enter a race and not have to put out millions of dollars and take a year off work.
Mr. Ken Martin Thank you for sharing your story, your dedication to the working class and protecting democracy. You stated, "The perception of the two political parties have switched." I have noticed this as well and couldn't agree more that this is dangerous. Especially at this time! In my opinion, rebranding the Blue Party will require an all out media blitz telling the American people that the Democratic Party and all within it are dedicating themselves to the working class by raising the Federal Minimum Wage to $27.00. The Democratic Party has done a lot of good for our republic. But why hasn't our party kept up with inflation and raise the federal minimum wage accordingly? There have been 3 times in recent memory when democrats held all 3 branches of government. (1993-1995 Clinton; 2009-2011 Obama; 2021-2023 Biden) There was a modest .70 increase in 2009 from $6.55 to $7.25. Really?! Is this the best our representatives can do for us? The working class has not seen an increase in 15 years. But during the most recent crisis to fund the government this past Dec., democrats and ALL the media cried out to the heavens that cancer research for children was cut from the bill. And rightly so. Was there a cry out to the heavens when there was no provision to increase the Federal minimum wage in that RC? No. Yet congress tried to give themselves a modest pay raise of $6,600.00 a year because they haven't had a pay raise in 15 years. Where is the F'n outrage!!! Does this sound like a party that protects the working class? Allow me to elaborate. In 1993, Clinton signed a republican bill called NAFTA (constructed by Bush Sr.) that gutted the manufacturing sector and the working class. Ross Perot called this out, but to no avail. Jobs left the U.S. for Mexico so the corporations could pay lower wages. Then in 1999, Clinton repealed the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 signed into law by FDR during the Great Depression. This act is the depression era banking regulation that kept different financial institutions separate and didn't allow them to use depositor's money in speculation. It is common knowledge that the repealing of the Glass-Steagall Act was a main factor in the cause of the 2007-2008 financial crisis. It certainly opened the door and rolled out the red carpet for the oligarchs to take over. Are democrats really the party of the American worker? Over the past 40 to 50 years, instead of raising wages regularly, our representatives have thrown us scraps and expect us to be grateful. The working class has not thrived since its creation since the 1950's and 1960's. Wages have stagnated, and union membership has steadily declined since the 1970's. Let's ask ourselves why? Lobbyists and special interests. Clearly our reps desired to be a part of the elite class more than doing the right thing.
So here we are in Jan. 2025 and the working class has told the Democratic Party to F'K OFF because they/we are tired of lip service! And now we find ourselves suffering the consequences of the Democratic Party's neglect and corruption. We find ourselves fighting for our lives and our democracy because the Blue Party took the working class for granted. Ignoring the fact the American Worker is the HEART and SOUL of the party. The HEART and SOUL of democracy! We are the power that generates this country's greatness. And don't you F'N forget it. Mr. Ken Martin. Do you agree that raising the Federal Minimum Wage to $27.00 is the most important, logical and strategic action that you can take to raise up the working class at a time when the robber barons of our time have their polished boots on our throats? Can you raise up the working class to strengthen our democracy at a time when our democracy is in serious peril? I know there are many challenges before the new chair of the DNC and it's not a job I would want. But I guarantee you that if you fight for the minimum wage increase that we have been denied all these years and restore the dignity that we deserve, we will support the Democratic Party and fight like hell to preserve our democracy and our freedom. I know that raising the wage to $27.00 is a bold ask. But these are desperate times and we need a STRONG LEADER who is willing to make bold moves for the Working Class of America. Union Proud. Union Strong. Equals a strong democracy Thank you for your kind attention. ''These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph." Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 1, 1776
Besides the DNC doing a better job, We The People need to do our job as well. We need to not accept this craziness as normal, dispute loudly the lies pushed loudly and constantly by the Repubs. It will never be perfect for everyone, but it can be so much better.. it is up to us to get people who are not engaged in researching for truth before making a decision, that is not in their best interest.
when you successfully raise over a billion dollars for a short campaign, enough money to put food on every table in the nation, and continue to ask for more how do you think the voters will react? Why not stop excessive spending and announce that you have enough? Greed is greed be you be donald trump or the dnc.
UA-cam podcasts would be a GREAT platform for ANYONE wanting to reach out and utilize a LARGE non- legacy media forum to get their MESSAGES across HONESTLY.
Not really blown away by the "well we need more data, we need more surveys" stuff at the beginning when it's clear that surveys and polling weren't really reaching enough people and relying too much on numbers instead of getting a gut feel from normal folks is how we ended up in this situation. I did like the rest of what he had to say and about just sitting in diners listening to people. I think between the two Ben Wikler seems like he has a more direct, immediate finger on the pulse of what people are feeling, but if Ken was in charge I think he'd still try his best to do a decent job and have some worthwhile changes to bring.
Oh, it's going to get worse under Trump. Just wait and see. Trump's practically just gave Nataeyeau permission to bomb Gaza. I have no sympathy for the people who voted for Trump because of that issue. Even the people of Gaza knew they would be much better off with Democratic Leaders in charge.
So far in this DNC series, Ben Wikler is the only one that has said "this is how we are going to do x, y, z", instead of all the others pointing out the obvious things that need to be done, but not telling us how these things WILL get done - in tried and true detail.
Your focused on the wrong issue. You rely to much on data and not enough of addressing people’s concerns. The party needs to talk to people as equals, not as a Professor to student. The message of helping people got lost. And, promoting the positive accomplishments got lost. People want a person that they believe will get things done for them. Do more progressive channels for messaging. Ex: Go after the healthcare system.
I hope y'all are analyzing Elon's ads in the formerly blue states. I've heard that his pinpoint accuracy was showing Anti Muslim ads to one group and anti Israel ads within the same neighborhood. Someone needs to investigate that guy.
This guy gets it. Quit trying to appeal to every smaller group of your constituents and focus on the issues that matter most to all the different groups you represent. Messaging heavily on LBGT+ issues KNOWING that will make an even larger portion of your base uncomfortable was ill advised and those who advocated for it shouldn't be involved in messaging from here on out on my opinion. I don't agree with Bernie on everything but there is a reason he probably would have been the nominee had the DNC not blocked him out. How do you think THAT looked to your constituents? I'll do you a favor and tell you.... IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE YOU DON'T GIVE A CRAP WHAT WE ACTUALLY WANT !! DUH
I'd like to see you lead the DNC. We're at risk in the entire country, including MN. When Amy Klobachar posts, the hateful and threatening responses far outweigh support and are frightening.
The Democratic party needs to have a youth outreach initiative. Have some edgy faces on podcasts, gamer streams, etc etc. Use heavy language, all the fucks, god damns, shits, and everything in between. It's time to get hardcore, and it's time to get popular! Use edgy dark humour to spread a positive message. Being nice doesn't get people far. The republicans proved this. Broadcast a Mean, Edgy, aggressive demeanor, but wrap a soft, positive message inside that hard crunch. I know something like that isn't generally a part of the Ethos, but sometimes a dash of hardcore can appeal to those that would otherwise deem it, "weak" or "lame".
Yeah that's a problem right there, how about we also be the party of strong people. In a culture that has transformed into Gladiator winner-takes-all, being the party to support weaklings perceived or otherwise, is not a winning strategy. It is perhaps cruel, but be the party of winners more than the party of people who cannot defend themselves. And empathetic humanistic society would want a political party and system to help the downtrodden, but we are not that. And we haven't been there for a long time. Be the party of winners
The democratic party has always been more compassionate and that should remain - abandoning that compassionate nature will do more harm than good. We should be strong but kind. Fierce and tough but leave no group behind.
@CatCaretakerID well I'm very much on board with the Fierce and tough. But it is not my perception I'm talking about nor my inclinations. It is the perception of Democrats as weak. That is a fundamental problem. Republicans attack the capital of the United States of America and for some reason somehow somewhere America didn't penalize them for that. if we could muster some unbelievable demonstrations of power, legislative hardball, judicial Fury and get government working for people we might have a chance of surviving. But that's not going to happen until the consequences of this Republican vote are fully appreciated by the Republicans by losing their jobs their houses their money their lives and pretty much anything that they ever wanted. Simply because Republicans always do that and Democrats keep stepping into the void and trying to help. It is time to let Republicans suffer the consequences of their votes! Democrats to suffer their consequences? We would have healthcare and high paying jobs. For republicans? No minimum wage, no Health care, dog eat dog calamitous no social security no Medicare no medicaid. Let them have that
You need to do Motivational Research (e.g., Pierre Grimes, Ph.D) and find out what the 4 groups of Democrats are and what each of those groups actually wants to see in their future.
Harris did not say anything of the things I want... I did not vote for Harris. I voted Harris because I did not want Trump - and Harris and Democrats lost. Bernie is right. So many people did not vote, many people voted third candidates, and so many dem votes went to Trump. My Lansing, Michigan leaders do not want to help real people. The Lansing Mayor likes wealthy businesses and does not help the poor people - look - only 15% vote and why did 85% lower people not vote?

Please don't limit the definition of our party as a brand. That imitates the Republican way. We will never win if we are imitation Republicans. A political party isn't a brand. We are not a product to be purchased. We should not allow ourselves to be trivialized into items to be bought -- and do this by accepting this metaphor. We are living, breathing beings with souls, cares, realities. Republicans may choose to be a brand. Then, They can be bought. They can be sold out. (Which they are) Advertising often makes claims that are untrue; it sometimes flat-out lies. And people "buy" (=believe) those claims. I understand that the SCOTUS decision that corporations are people has nearly fatally crippled not only Democrats but also Democrat's identity (as was intended). A huge corporation is now a person "with a voice" meaning money doesn't just talk; it means that money is the only thing that talks (has influence). Now we "vote with our pocketbooks" -- not our minds. We impulse buy, based on emotion. We must not be defeated by so-called branding (as if we are cattle???) and this trivializing of our beings with this marketplace metaphor. The market metaphor has made inroads into our sense of who we are as human beings. To wit: why do we say "That man is WORTH billions of dollars"???? As I think on this "worth" question, I am shocked to realize that I cannot think of another way to say (to think) this! How much money a person has is not a measure of his value. We must put an end to this turn of phrase. Back to Democrat party identity (NOT brand) -- People should not see our party as a product that can someone can buy. It's an engagement with the power structure, an engagement that decides the direction of our lives. Ideas aren't merely things that get sold and bought in a "marketplace of ideas." Ideas are first of all, something that is CREATED. Second, good ideas are influence, not a product to be sold or bought. Good ideas must have a quality of connecting minds. Even Einstein's relativity connected minds. The Big Tent party idea is one whose time will come. Please don't define our political interests as only a product that politicians buy. We aren't a brand. We're an identity, a body of human beings. Joe Biden delivered on promises. Why didn't that matter? Harris sat in the doughnut shops and diners and talked to people. We need to know why the kept promises and direct engagment with average people didn't matter. I am really tired of hearing that our messaging isn't good. I have heard that too many times. What is really going on? I mean, really. Thank you for reading.
Your rhetoric is bs. The Virginia governors race is already lost. The party chose spanberger, who is dispised in her former district. She only won her last seat in congress because repubs voted for her in volume. Instead of dems seeing this as a wake-up call, they steam rolled her to be the dem candidate instead of primaring her. The dem party is genuinely impressed that repubs banded together to keep her in congress. News flash repubs vote for her, dems don't. If we can get a strong independent candidate, Virginia may do okay. Right now, we have a choice between two repubs in the governors race. For all of our sakes, wake up and read the room and quit losing.
You had the info and ignored it. You abandoned the working class and poor. The campaign focussed on educated, affluent, urban professional class voters. This is fine, they vote too. But the majority are poor and poorly educated, and you marginalized them. Powerfully. And you cost us the control of our most powerful institutions. Do better.
@@smokehouse420-x9k And yet, Biden was able to push through a major infrastructure bill which Psycho Donnie kept promising ("Infrastructure Week!") but never followed through on. That's how Donnie is: He does not ever intend to follow through on stuff that would benefit us, just his billionaire buddies. Biden's infrastructure money benefitted my entire metro area, with newly paved streets and new pipes underneath many of them. Your area probably benefitted too, you just don't know it or refuse to admit it. The bill also included major money for broadband expansion, to get internet to more rural areas.
Check out Roll Call White House, *Trump’s presidential office hours were the shortest since FDR, Biden’s not far behind him* One difference is that Biden did some work during his vacations, like getting security briefings and acting on them. Psycho Donnie refused to even take such briefings because they were just too darn boring. Donnie is the biggest national security threat we face. He actually stole those national security briefing documents to sell them to the highest bidder.
Forget about the so-called experts and consultants, Marc, and listen to me, a decadeslong liberal.:) The Democratic Party has to explain to the American people that government and the free market are inextricably linked-one can’t exist without the other. Government is like the picture frame and the free market is the painting in all its dynamism. The picture frame represents the regulations and policies-the values of the People-that allow the free market to operate smoothly and in a way that respects workers, the environment, the elderly and the most vulnerable among us. Republicans want to destroy that frame and Democrats want to strengthen it.
If y’all want to know what the Democrats campaigns could have done to show they cared for the people , we’ll start with the people !!

Ken had an accurate & appropriate assessment on a number of things, which were things that I was pleased to hear him acknowledge.
get the dinasours out of the party and let the younger people do what needs to be done!!
Give the elderly politicians a gob job in cabinet, or back in the state, or developing younger candidates.
America should work on not being racist for a start.
Well, yes. Now your description of that is accomplished is? How do we "work on" people not being racist?
The problem is racism exists everywhere. Don't act like racism doesn't exist in your country. It's a 2:26 problem everywhere, not just here.
Absolutely 💯
@@melissalayson7275 Yes, but we cannot control how other countries conduct themselves. We can only decide what we want to support here in your own country. Unless and until we stop focusing on race and start focusing much more on human needs and the conditions that policies just keep making worse by pulling necessary programs then we are sunk anyway.
Awesome Mark.. thank you!
Start giving Americans a history lesson. Ie, which party secured overtime benefits, etc. Dems need a TV station, to state the truth. Stop being reactive. Start being proactive!
Absolutely true.
We need to be a populist party and message it well. Much of what Biden did for Americans was not messaged. Trump had a very simple message, be it lies, but he managed to convince people that he was going to help them. I have been frustrated watching my family think that we t IMO would be good for them.
Ken has done well for us in Minnesota.
While id prefer Ben just because of his track record in running ahead of Dems and being the chair of the state closest to just being the national environment, Ken Martin really is surprising me.
I think if it comes down to those two we might get some seriously good discussion out of it. Maybe some actual change.
I love this discussion series too. I
The Wellstone Way! Camp Wellstone alumnae here. 💕💕💕
Great interview!
Rally behind AOC now. We didn’t get Bernie. We need to listen to them NOW.
Democratic party is washed up...the writing is on the walls
You know, I messaged AOC on Blue Sky on the 6th to ask her why there wasn't a single Democrat who voiced the 14th amendment objection to the qualification of Donald Trump to be president, not one, not even her. Do you know what she said? Nothing. She hasn't answered me.
Become an independent like Bernie the eternal spoiler then instead of being a PARASITE on MINE buddy 👌
@@GingerGM01
Why is our party populated by so many people who are looking for someone to listen to? Don't you think that the problem really is that they need to listen to us?
Enjoyed hearing from Martin and Wikler. We need some like them in MO. Maybe do and I just don't know who they are.
@Marc Elias thanks for these interviews with the people who are running to be DNC chair!
Thank you 👍
How about the DNC give way more support to legislators within the party, like Bernie Sanders and other positive and progressive activists.
Y'all, please take care of your health. Everyone is tired and we cannot have anything happen to the keepers of our Democracy, y'all are going to be in the courtroom, not us. Y'all are going to be up at night writing briefs, not us. Please, take care of yourselves.
You didn't mention the antiquity of DNC heirarchy
Interesting that they avoided the most important issue.
Democrats need to push the very popular policies similar to what Gov Walz has done in his State
We did some in Michigan. Nervous if it will be taken away.
Thinking Republicans care about working people is not on Democrats, it's utterly delusional.
With the way things are today, I am waiting for the person that says they want to get money out of politics. I think if you talk to anybody about anything today that is the number one issue, nothing can be fixed until the money is gone. Because the donors are running both sides of this party. We all know it you know it and it's time to do something about it!
It's really not about fringe oppressed ONLY. It's about policies that are CLEARLY for the working class and the working poor.
How do they get them to the floor with no majority? They need to message what they would have done, maybe. 🤷♀️
My recap:

I watched the first interview with the guy from Wisconsin. Any others ?
Not sure who else he is interviewing, but there are a couple others.
Sorry. This sounds like more of the same.
...Finally said it. Keeping promises is the problem, not branding.
Ken is the man to lead our Democratic Party!
Thank you Marc and Ken, I can’t help but think of Teddy Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena!”
Good information Marc and these videos can sound even better. If you would drop the music at the beginning and the end it overwhelms what you're trying to say.
In a representative democracy, the people want to vote for leaders who know us, like us and actually work for us. Not rocket science.
My sister in Texas, a staunch trumper, calls me, a never trumper, a "snowflake". What does that tell you? I live in Or.
Mr. Ken Martin
Thank you for sharing your story, your dedication to the working class and protecting democracy.
Equals a strong democracy
Thank you for your kind attention.
''These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph."
Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 1, 1776
He had a lot of good ideas. Much better than another man I saw who focused on winning by focusing on rual America. He was completely out of touch.
The Democratic party is washed up...the writing is on the walls
Martin seems to have a good grasp of the problems to overcome,
Denial ISN'T just a river in Egypt
Does anyone expect us to have a real judiciary or legitimate elections ever again?🙄
Nope
we definitely expect to continue fighting for democracy.
I do. Naive? Maybe…
The Democratic Party needs to start advancing younger democrats in the House and Senate - who know how to use social media!
UA-cam podcasts would be a GREAT platform for ANYONE wanting to reach out and utilize a LARGE non- legacy media forum to get their MESSAGES across HONESTLY.
STOP TALKING THE EYE OFF THE BALL WITH EDUCATION. WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER YOU TEND TO DO BETTER
Still no discussion Gaza .
AIPAC money needs to be removed from the party. It's buying silence and complicity with Genocide.
I'm sorry, but it was one of the lowest things polled in regards to importance. DNC chair and democrat legislators won't have any say in that topic.
Yes, democrats need to be campaigning ALL THE TIME - not just for elections. Go to every single demographic and LISTEN!!
You need the Senate and Congress to win

DUH
He says some good things but not particularly inspired by him. Of course you're going to be able to elect dem majorities in MN....
Let them have that
👍🏻⚖️🧐💙👍🏻
I believe ken Martin is the right person to lead the dnc
You need to do Motivational Research (e.g., Pierre Grimes, Ph.D) and find out what the 4 groups of Democrats are and what each of those groups actually wants to see in their future.
please -- not this guy
Ken Martin has awesome ideas but I prefer Ben Wikler for the job.
Hi Ken & Marc ❤ yez you should lead the Democratic party Ken
Make ten million phone calls, find out what's needed and wanted. Do and or supply what is needed and wanted. Ask did you vote? Simple question.
Democratic party is washed up...the writing is on the walls

SO. WHEN WILL THE LOT OF YOU TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR!
I think you need to fight propaganda full throttle
Back to Democrat party identity (NOT brand) --
People should not see our party as a product that can someone can buy.
There was no primary?
Democratic run shit shows for election and dont do shit to fix things 😂
You had the info and ignored it. You abandoned the working class and poor. The campaign focussed on educated, affluent, urban professional class voters. This is fine, they vote too. But the majority are poor and poorly educated, and you marginalized them. Powerfully. And you cost us the control of our most powerful institutions. Do better.
How did they abandon working class?

Democratic party is washed up...the writing is on the walls
I see you have your lame talking point on auto-pilot.
@LinnieBee1709 Biden has taken at least 570 days of vacation during his tenure as president.. inauguration day can't get here soon enough...
Check out Roll Call White House, *Trump’s presidential office hours were the shortest since FDR, Biden’s not far behind him*
One difference is that Biden did some work during his vacations, like getting security briefings and acting on them.
Is Christopher Steele in the picture? Keep on lying and steeleing!
I am a true Democrat BUT
I have lost FAITH in JUSTICE!! Thanks to DJT!
