I love these bags. I have sets of 3, 3.5 and 4 inch patches. I feel completely confident I can play on any boards and in any conditions with these three.
Have these...Originals and these...use 3.0 Patch...Love em...favorite bags...both the originals and these. Also love the All Slides, original and 2.0, but not as rounded of a bag in the corners

Great review, Mike. I highly doubt the ACL will ever allow multi-speed bag sets in competition. As a sneaky workaround, perhaps you could get a custom set with different patch sizes that don't have the size number printed on the patches.
The ACL wanted to put in a rule that would allow a bag change in the middle of a game. The players voted it down for this season. I bring that up because I think the ACL is open to making changes to the game. In order for the game to grow, it has to evolve and change. Allowing players to use different bags is not that far fetched. As long as the bags all look the same, I don't see an issue with it. I think it would bring more strategy into the game, which would be a good thing.

I have 2 sets of game changers, 1 set of all slides 2.0 and I am debating on getting the. 3.0 or the 3.5 because most of my playing is indoors on cold boards which are slow. Thanks for a very good review!

I heard they have a parent on the “patch” so if that’s the case, I doubt the acl and aco will allow a mixed set “advantage” if no other bags can do the same.
To open up the conversation a bit. What do people think about the ACL possibly ever opening it up to mix and match your 4 bags? To throw various bags/ speeds and styles. For example 2 wizards, 2 vikings or something? I think this would be a really fun type of tournament. Maybe more of a "pro bowl" type of casual setting that isnt really a sanctioned event.
Or even just a tourney everyone has to use the same kind of bag and you get a tournament sponsored Bag to use for all players.
I would love to watch some of those events just to mix and match things up a bit.
Get some carpet guys throwing fast bags, or vice versa. Get people out of their comfort zone a bit. Granted they are pro's i am sure they will adapt but just an idea.
See someone who always throws X bag and then has to use a different one would just show another side to the players. I dont see this being a norm for competitive play ever but just some random ideas to try out for events.
What's everyone's thoughts on that? Maybe I am the minority.
I think that sounds fun. I wouldn't mind playing in something like that
@@MrLordkruk I agree. Granted i have trouble throwing 4 of the same bag during a match let alone mixing and matching. Again I know there are sponsorship hurdles to some of the items i mentioned but it was more of a hypothetical to gage anyones interest to doing it.

Would you say the 4 or 4.5 size patch compares to the speed of a viper R?
Viper R is probably closer to the 4. Maybe between the 3.5 and 4. The 4.5 is more like a traditional carpet bag like the Pro Advantage or Viking carpet speeds.
Someone explain the hate for game changers? I love them but I don’t get out enough to understand why folks hate them
