Great video man! Actually I think that old k3 is quite competitive considering its age and lack of technology. It seems that your friend is only faster in long straights at the finish line in speeds over 250 km/h .Other than that it seems that GSXR has good acceleration even today and in smaller track were you cant reach speeds higher than 260 km/h you might be not slower than Ducati. I have gsxr 1000 K1, so I am quite happy to see how good are those old Suzuki's even today!
Thanks Alex !! Yes I love my K3 ! nearly 30 000km of track days, I gave my engine to be rebuilt and the guy told me that still in good health :D ! We really have fun with my friend, and think that my suspensions front and back are origin ! I changed oil in fork some years ago and that's all ! I manage to accelerate little earlier than him and little more speed at the entrance of the curves, and the gsxr has good torque....But as soon as his bike his straight, I lose meters...! His level is increasing and at the end of 2 track days, we were in the same tenth :D -- But it's pleasant to be not ridiculous, that's what I like in Motorbike, the rider can change lot of things ( of course, not at professional level lol )
good Video and nice bike, mate!
Thumbs up 🔥
