This band is refreshing breakthrough on so many levels. A southern rock spirit that can not be passed off as revivalist of a genre, but rather a more intimate and current state of southern influences, ie: Wal mart, Dollar General, Baptism, Mud Bogging , Bar Hopping, and Friday Night Football, etc., The Irony of it is for so many decades the dominant market radio stations of these regions locked out all original and local bands to guarantee a solid commercial market through the advertising sales of a Classic Rock format. So now when a fresh and truly original southern rock band tries to get recognised for thier natural talents, playing at the local live band venue will get them little more than a few CD sales, and great memories, and a good time for those who don't get too drunk to remember it. These guy's Rock!!! Call your local Radio station and demand they play it.# I Want My Whiskey Myers!

Been a fan since the Firewater release(what an album/cd) and had the pleasure a catchin' the band with Blackberry Smoke(class) in Detroit last December,superb they were but a short set.We're off to Buffalo later on today to catch them headlinin',for a couple livin' in Toronto it's a small price to pay to see such a quality act.Your words about radio ring so true especially here in Toronto,self servin' sad fcuks who have no life at home but seem have the need to share it with all of us instead of promotin' music venues and quality live bands with their new releases and upcomin' shows.Keep er lit friend!

Whiskey Myers needs to come close to WestVirginia for my wife Pj Dennison she listen to these guys all day everyday she plays this song over and over and can sing this song word for word 110% she does it so amazing i love listening to her sing it .. She bring tears to my eyes cuz i know the pain ive caused her .. For her to say those words to me she put the cole steel to head so she be lying next to me.. I love u so much Pj and i swear to u ..
