Waterloo Speedpaint (2024)

Hip hip hurrah! Today we celebrate ABBA, as 50 years ago today in 1974, ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with none other than Waterloo. That fateful day began ABBA's journey to become one of the biggest music groups in the whole entire world. Happy anniversary ABBA!
For this year's drawing, I decided to do something a little complicated. I rarely draw large realistic pictures with more than one person because it just takes so long, and while this drawing is not the most detailed in terms of realism, it took so freaking long and it was super hard, but I'm glad I did it. Unfortunately due to the size of the drawing, my computer couldn't handle recording the speedpaint with OBS studio at the same time as the drawing, so I wasn't able to record it in my usual way or calculate the actual amount of time it took to complete this drawing. However, Clip Studio Paint does have a timelapse feature, hence how I was able to make this video, and I guess-timated how long it took me to draw this.
Anyways, happy 50th, ABBA. Thank you for the music. ❤️
