Helpful tips! When I can't play because of neighbors, sometimes I practice fingering in rhythm (without the mouthpiece and neck). Also embouchure exercises without the mp.
Awesome tips. I'm right now with this struggles, so much so my teacher told a few things you brought as number 2. I'm over 1.5 month studying the instrument and already saw an incredible improvement but the rhythm is my new nemesis right now hahaha. Thanks for sharing this knowledge!
When you cant play because of your neighbours consider buying yamaha yds-150 or emeo and you can connect your headphones to them and play for hours in silence
Hi Jeremy,. Thankfully my neighbours are fine with me practicing, and of course I do so at sensible times. I'm always very careful to do that. I also play clarinet, oboe, piano and flute, so my neighbours have to endure a lot of practising each day, but I do my best to be considerate of my neighbours. On a completely different topic about sax playing, a couple of days ago I ordered a curved soprano saxophone from Thomann's. It's a TCS 350. Just wondered if you have seen any of these and if you think they are any good. I've been doing loads of research into this and watched lots of UA-cam videos of demos of different brands to check out how they sound. As I spent over £2,000 on my new oboe this last February, I'm on a tight budget, and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much choice, as the top brands are from £2,500 to £5,000!! Anyway, I've ordered a Thomann TCS 350 costing £522.00. I just hope that it will not be a disappointment. I would really appreciate your opinion please. Thank you very much. 😀
Hi Carolyn! Thanks for the support 😊 I wish I had an opinion to give but unfortunately I’ve not seen or played these Thomann saxes for myself. I have ordered a few things from Thomann before though so I know the shop itself is excellent. Perhaps you can update us on your thoughts once it arrives? All the best!
Hey sax players, hope you enjoyed the video! You can pick up my free Active Listening Guide here: www.saxtuition.com/listen

Very true - both are handy for practicing your fingering. Do you own both by any chance?
@@SaxTuition only yds-150, it’s great 👌
Yamaha yds 120 is cheaper and even better. Fingerings are exactly the same as on a real saxophone. The only big difference: mouthpiece without a reed.
Nice video. For anyone wanting to spend a bit of money, Travel sax 2 from Odisei music is a great tool for practicing quietly and anywhere you want.
Great advice as always Jeremy, thanks very much for putting out such excellent and user friendly content 👍
No worries! Thanks Lee 😊
Great tips, Mr. Trezona! Thanks!
My pleasure!
It's nice I can train my English also sax😊
