LOL!! You totally just made me in vision a bunch of bigfoot huddled up in a cave old school "Far Side" cartoon style with one BF emphatically telling the others "I'm telling ya Frank, I'm NOT CRAZY! I KNOW WHAT I SAW!!! THAT STEVE GUY IS REAL!!! and if you ever see him you'll be shiting your fur too!!! LMAO!!!
(Seriously though, not mocking or belittling Steve or others who've seen them, but just like Steve can't help laughing after seeing someone get tossed arse over tea kettle off a horse, I cant help but laugh at The Far Side reversal humor! I had the great pleasure of growing up on the San Juan river and I know exactly where the Fleet river is . My father (Frank Elliott) was a famous fisherman- logger from that area. I grew up with many stories of sasquatch and other strange sightings. My father used to be the river crosser for the west coast trail back when it was a telegraph- marine safety trail up to when it became a national park and a hiking trail. Many many tails of sasquatch sightings, my mother and father have told me over the years. I now live in Bowser BC here on Vancouver island, and I have the great pleasure of having sasquatch living in the woods behind the property I now live on. Many sightings and much sign everywhere. I do not care if people believe me or not they exist and are real. Thanks for your great story. Wow the memories it has brought back. Again thanks and God Bless you !!!!

Thats Great, I used to drift the San Juan for steelhead years ago as well hiked into Harris Creek many times. An old friend of my fathers lived in Port Renfrew 'forever' named Ray Ociast ( last name spelling prob wrong), he was a character! You probably knew of or knew him. there are many sightings along the Gordon River these days.

I have had many saunas with him as well as Drank plenty of his moonshine. His wife died of cancer about 10 years ago and he (Ray) is now in a hospice house receiving help for every day stuff. Ray definitely is a character. I would like to no your father's name . You most likely do not want to say his name in public so here is my email address yeshuaad21@gmail.com. Saw one when I was 12 years old on the Nemogosenda river about 15 miles south of lake Kapuskasing, northern ont.
I left the cabin (only cabin on the river ) cutting through the woods to fish on the backside of the peninsula.
This thing was standing there looking at me, I ran because I really didn't know what it was, this was in 1968, I never heard of Bigfoot .
I think maybe I was allowed to see this creature because it would've never expected a 12 year old kid coming out of the bush in such a remote area.
Any ways I thought it was a mountain man or trapper dressed in bear hide clothes but it was july and around 75 degrees out.
I'm not sure what I saw but this area is so remote the chances of a person being there is zero.
It looked very odd in the face , like a man but not, and it was three times the size of any adult I knew at the time.
I've been an outdoorsman ever since then, I'm 60 now and I've never seen anything again, but I always look and think about it whenever I'm in the field.

I was born and raised in West Virginia. My dad was a avid hunter and fisherman and a good one. It was something he loved but more than that, it seemed that he was trying to learn everything he could about each sport, the process, the habits of wildlife, etc. Our family camped every year and it ended when my dad died of leukemia when I was fourteen. He was a great dad. If he ever saw Sasquatch I never heard about it.
Chances are good that he's seen at least tracks they left behind, but my feeling is that if he'd had some sort of experience with Saquatch
it didn't and would never have kept him from doing what he loved. He was a true sportsman. My firm belief is that people who scoff at and ridicule those who have seen the creature....well, they are scared out of their minds at the thought. They desperately do not want to believe it. My cousin who lives in Oregon saw one cross
the country road in front of her car.
I rest my case! I'm in, Steve. I've been around for 79 years. I'm wondering if these are Nephilim spoken of in the Bible? Just a thought. (Poor spelling!)

Well done, sir, well done. About 30 years ago, I was scouting a location to take my sons to, just before season open. It was a public hunting area along a river bottom, an open field planted, with forest surrounding on three sides, and the dirt road on the other. I'd been watching the trail head without seeing much, so was getting ready to pack it in, when I saw movement, a flash of buff color.
Out of the woods strolled a large mature mountain lion; in full daylight he strolled up the edge of the planted area (thankfully the wind was blowing towards me, so he didn't wind me) I watched till he disappeared into the woods on the other side, then I high-tailed it out of there. Went straight to our senior fish and game guy, who I knew personally 'cause I'd helped with the hunters' education courses here. He laughed at me, told me that it was impossible because the big cats had been hunted out of existence in our state about 100 years ago. About 15 years later, we spotted a black one that got flushed out by the hotspot helo during a controlled burn--the entire helo crew saw it too. Got the same response by fish and game.
So I guess the point of this story is that, you saw what you saw. Your grandfather saw what he saw. It doesn't matter what "the experts" say, because experts can be wrong. The Coelocanth is an excellent example of this--they are NOT extinct--the native fishermen have been catching them off the coast of Africa since forever. We now know that the Clovis people were NOT the first humans in North America. You are right, experts can be wrong. Thank you for sharing this--will be watching for an update!

We went to the house amd later after we cleaned bikes looked up pictures of wolfs as i assumed none in fla. We found pics of the florida black wolf said to be extinct for 100 years. This is for anyone who may be interested in further deep diving into, very real, and very relevant, factual history, that must be taken into consideration when unpacking anything Sabe related, imo.
My friend, Doctor Paulette F. C. Steeves-(Cree- Metisis) an Archeologist who just a couple of years ago became a PHD tenured professor at Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, actually up-ended the worldwide archeology world in proving them wrong about Clovis.
Of a few of her thesis papers, Clovis and Folsom, Indigenous Occupation PRIOR TO and "The La Sena Site (18,440 +90 Cyr BP): A Pre-ClovisSite in South West Nebraska", in Encyclopedia of Global Archaeology 2nd Edition edited by Claire Smith (New York: Springer, 2019): "Unpacking Neoliberal Archaeological Control of Ancient Indigenous Heritage", Archaeologies 13,no. 1 (2017): "Decolonizing the Past and Present of the Western Hemisphere (the Americas)", Archaeologies 11, 1 (2015) 42-69: "Academia, Archaeology, CRM, and Historic Preservation," Archaeologies 11, no. 1 (2015) 121-41.
I highly recommend her book, "The Indigenous Paleolithic Of The Western Hemisphere"
that was published July 1st 2021, to fully round out ones understanding.
It's a RIVITING account that will up-end what everyone in North America has been falsly taught.
Of course, it's also entered at Library of Congress Catologing-in-Publication Data.
Google her name to learn the backstory of what she was subjected to, and, her personal family history prior to the publication of this book.
I truly hope that this will add to a anyone's bank of knowledge ~

She also endured taunts at her job by coworkers. She felt isolated. Very sad.

I like many others have heard of these creatures many many yrs. ago. I'm an old man now and don't get out in the woods anymore, but even as a young man I suspected they could possibly exist..... My closest encounter occurred in 1995 while on an Elk hunt with my father in-law in the high mountains of New Mexico. Even then I was not a novice hunter and had spent days and weeks in the mountains every year prior to that hunt..... On that particular day we were trudging through knee deep snow tracking an Elk that was dropping small drops of blood in his tracks. And being that we did NOT shoot it we didn't know if it had been shot or was just injured but we planned on following for a while just to see what was what...… We had just cleared a large Aspen stand and were walking slowly through an open meadow hoping to catch sight of the Elk when all of a sudden we heard the loudest roar either of us had ever heard, we instinctively dropped to one knee with our rifles at the ready, neither of us knew what it was that had made that roar, we were sure it wasn't a bear, and were fairly sure it wasn't a Mountain lion because the sound was deeper and Mountain lions don't 'Whoop whoop' after roaring... The roar seemed to echo all around us and we were not sure of the exact location from which it originated. The roar was ungodly loud and was very sustained it seemed to have lasted a full ten to fifteen seconds at full volume and two or three seconds afterwards came a distinctive 'Whoop whoop' sound that I'd never heard an animal make...… We continued half heartedly with our hunt and saw neither Elk or what ever creature had made that sound, it wasn't until later that evening while sitting around a fire we both must have read each other's mind and asked 'What the fuck was that???' Well neither of us knew and we still don't know but we never heard anything like it again....

So did I after serving in the Navy in late summer of 1977. It happened camping in Wyoming just across the border from Idaho. Heard a bipedal creature approach our campsite just after bedding down in the open. No tent, just sleeping bags. Something huge was approaching...the woods got eerily quiet except for the HEAVY CRUNCH of footsteps. I burrowed in my bag shaking so hard. I was convinced I was going to be torn apart...I could hear breathing but not a labored breath...very measured. Waiting, shaking, frightened, I passed out! Next thing I knew the sun just arose, birds were chirping and I was surprised I wasn't dead! Never saw it but I know to my core something huge was standing over me. It still haunts me 43 years later.

I’m so torn between someone finding irrefutable evidence and us knowing that it does exist, just to be vindicated in our collective viewpoint, or never finding evidence which and the legend remaining unchanged. I’m afraid that if it were found to be true, there would be a massive invasion of the world’s deepest woods and untold money blown on the pursuit just to end up ruining pristine environment, and areas not even known exploited into oblivion. Witness the mountain gorilla in central Africa, not even known to exist until 20th century, and their habitat is being pushed to the ragged edge of the balance between exploitation, and the money ironically made from exploitation used to aid in their survival. Sasquatch wouldn’t be quite so accommodating.

Living in Alaska and preferring the remote wilderness has provided so many encounters that I can say for sure what it wasn’t but cannot confirm 100% what exactly I have seen, heard, and tracked. So many encounters!
Each is so unforgettable and makes you really question what we know is out there.
Something with a stride longer than my sled (snowmachine/snowmobile) bigger print than my bunny boots out in the remote 20below frozen swamps! It had walked over my freshly laid tracks. At first I thought some hunter is hypothermic and naked running around lost. I began to track it back into the trees where I was no longer able to navigate. I jumped off my sled to go by foot and was over waist deep. There is no way a human could walk through that without leaving a trough, but this thing was massive enough to step through it! About then I heard that distinctly horrific scream. It wasn’t a hypothermic naked lost hunter.

I had an experience close to Toba Inlet about ten years ago. I was boating with my folks and cousin and we had just anchored in a beautiful and extremely remote little cove on East Redonda Island. There are no roads, or houses anywhere on this island and it is a few hours boat ride to the nearest human settlement. The shore was very close to the boat, maybe 30 yards away due to a very sudden drop off of deep water, and we were all sitting at the rear of the boat enjoying some beverages when all of a sudden the forest went quiet and we all got this strange feeling that something was off. Suddenly a gigantic log that weighed probably in excess of 200 pounds was thrown out of the deep forest towards our boat. It landed in the water with an almighty splash about 15 yards from the boat. I emphasis that it was THROWN. It came out of the forest horizontally and on a dead calm evening. We then heard odd noises from the forest, after which my dad went and got his old winchester 30-30 from down below. We were all pretty freaked out at this point. We ended up taking off the next day and have avoided that particular bay ever since. I 100 percent believe you on these stories. Something is out there, and it is something people should be aware of.

You had said that the bait was missing and that there wasn't any tracks nor pictures on your game camera. My long winded question is did you happen to look really close on the pictures and did you notice any orbs. Orbs and bigfoot coincide for whatever reason. Also consider yourself extremely honored that they choose you to see them. They see you all the time and so they respect you. I'm a US MARINE and a somewhat common sensed smart man who believes you.

Two friends, my wife and I were in the area west of Tahsis, August 2013. We were anchored off the shore about 200ft. Sleeping on a dead calm night with very light drizzle, very quiet. Around 1:30 am I got woken up to some very loud whooping, hooping series of loud calls, rising in pitch. You could lightly feel the sound reverberating in your chest. First calls must have woken me up, but once awake, I distinctly heard the rest, but of short duration, only about 5 seconds worth. Later on I did research on owl and big cat calls and came up with nothing even close. I've been a woodsman for 50 years and know many natural sounds, but these sounds were new to me. I'm a lite sleeper so unfortunately I was the only one who heard the calls. Next day I had my binoculars on the rocky hillside but saw nothing.

I was up in the adirondacks in new york bear hunting last year very remote. 20 plus miles from civilization. I took a shot just about dark on a black bear with my 30.06 bear ran 60 yards and died. But before I went to track him I gave him 20 mins to lay down and die...by this time It was dark. I began spot lighting the blood trail and as I approached where the bear had died I saw a tall figure standing about 50 yards away behind a tree watching me. It was about 7 1/2 feet tall and no it was not a bear. It ran like a man would run. The hair on the back of my neck stood up I was terrified since it was pitch black. I can not tell you what I saw but it was not a bear. This thing was massive. I'm 5'5 and this thing was at least 2 feet taller than me. I began to tell my gf what happened and she chuckled. After that I didn't even bother yo speak of it again. But I know what I saw. I've never been more terrified in my life. I refuse to hunt till dark there snymore this year I will be out of the woods at light. These things do exist

The ones we hit in the sticks, they frighten disappear. ALL THE TIME. People aren’t getting these deer. Buddies of mine have stopped just hours later at these spots for the antlers, and NOTHING. Steve I know exactly of what you speak, I used to work on a remote ranch NW of Kalispell MT. I absolutely loved that country, we ran about 95000 acres of forest service and plumb creek leases plus another 6-7000 deeded land right down in the Thompson river valley. There was many a time up there horseback that I was alone and riding through steep country, very choked with blown down timber, trying to find my way through, looking for cattle, I would get the sense of being watched, and some places that I caught the smell of something so foul that it would make you turn away and try to breath through your mouth, and I'm a guy that will stick a knife in a week old dead cow carcass, posting it to try and see what caused it to die, and never throw up from the stink. I have caught movement, in the brush, and seen a figure walking away really too far away to say with any certainty what it really was. I have seen bedded down areas and places in the mountains along creeks and springs where there has been foot traffic in places where there are no people. So I am a believer, and understand like you say, there are lots of things we dont know and have not discovered yet in this world. I love the outdoors and have never shied away from anything dangerous, But I am very careful, and always like you say alert when out there, particularly when in the high up dense timber or above tree line, in the big rocks.

When I was six years old my grandpa in W.VA. told us a story as we were sitting outside late at night .You could see way up to the tops of the hills. He said he was up on the side of the hill plowing with the horses . The field was slooped upward and the hill to the side was wooded . The horses began to start jumpin' a little then all of a sudden this big hairy beast came out of the woods and ran along side of the horses about a few feet away and then lumbered back up into the woods . He said it ran upright like a man . Slightly slumped over a little . He said it was hairy all over . He said after it went into the woods he didn't see it anymore. That was back in 1958 when he told us ,but I can't remember when he said he saw it . I'll have to ask my oldest brother ,he might remember. I mentioned it to my uncle four or five years ago , he said to me , you can remember him telling about that? My uncle wasn't there when he told us about it . So he must of told him about it also. Back then I never heard of a bigfoot. Around here nobody ever mentioned anything about a bigfoot. My grandpa didn't call it a bigfoot or sasquatch. All he said was it was a big hairy beast that ran upright like a man that ran slumped over and ran back up into the woods .

But on two occasions I was acutely aware of not being alone. Once was walking to my stand and the other was when I reached my stand. Both happened early hours while reaching my hunting areas. It has always piqued my attention and curiosity as to what it was i had encountered.

IKR? I think the "sense of relief" you speak of is merely knowing that someone else has experienced the same thing you have. It's such a relief to unburden yourself when you have that fantastical experience. I've never seen one myself, but I think that scientists should keep an open mind--science is NEVER settled. I experienced something bizarre that wasn't a Sasquatch, but it did cause me to keep a more open mind about things.

I live in Georgia and hunt in the middle of 40,000 acres of private land. I haven’t seen one with my own two eyes but I’ve had that feeling, you know? My uncle and his son were hunting with us one weekend. One evening after a hunt my uncles son didn’t return to camp, he was prone to catch a ride at the gate and leave. We were 6 miles from the gate at the dirt road and I wondered why he would carry all his gear that far and leave for home but uncle and dad were positive he left because he didn’t signal us in any way that he needed help. No call, no 3 shots, nothing. Well the next morning as we’re around the fire drinking coffee he walks up. He said he stayed in the tree all night afraid to climb down. He said he saw “something”. Large, black and standing on two legs. It looked at him for a few minutes then slipped away in the swamp, quit as a mouse he said.

I`m in Australia, back in `91 me and 2 mates saw a yowie one night.
We were walking along the beach near Rockhampton, so it is bush and mountains then beach. It was following us along the beach, we yelled out to it thinking it may have been a mate who didn`t come for the walk. No response, but kept coming closer. It was big, 7-8 ft, solid as.
We shined the torch on it, knew it was not our mate or any other person we could recognize. We got a bit freaked out and ran for it. By the time we got home (2km) we were stuffed. The mate we thought it may have been was chilling on the couch and wondering why we looked like scared girls.
    Will never forget it.

A friend of the family had a grandpa that was a sheep herder, anyways his land was at the foot of the Appalachians. He noticed that sheep were coming up missing, and decided to set the field overnight, he went out a couple nights in a row with nothing. The third night he never returned, his family went out looking for him and found blood and a broken shotgun stock and both shells had the primers struck, one boot, but no other trace of him. A couple decades later his kin were having problems with the same thing missing sheep, so they went out in their truck and would spotlight the wood line and they saw some huge eyes that were too far apart to be human, to high to be a black bear standing up looking back at them, one of the guys had a rifle and put it over the hood of the truck and aimed between the 2 huge eyes reflecting back and shot. They said they heard the most loud and unusual howling, and thrashing followed by the sounds of something huge running through the woods snapping branches. They went back the next morning to track the blood and find out what it was. They saw saplings 2 to 4 inch diameter snapped over and branches snapped over their heads for the first 50 yards into the woods, blood and hair but never any body. Whatever it was, was over 6 foot tall at the shoulders and very wide with brown hair. There have never been any Brown Bear in that area, and I have never seen one running off standing so that it could hit the areas on the tree that whatever it was did.

I asked an Elder how I should hunt it. She told me not to. That it would bring bad luck to me or get myself killed. I’ve resisted telling my story for fourteen years and I guess it’s about time. I had four “encounters” in 2005 which completely changed my life and have impacted me to the core of my being. Two were Big Foot sightings, and the other two were something else entirely-
I’ve been a Jeep guy since 1985 and have logged thousands of miles of off-road time exploring remote places in the Intermountain west that very few people ever get to see. I’m an avid fly fisherman, and used to hunt waterfowl and big game as well. I’ve backpacked on numerous mountain ranges in the high country of the Rocky’s and until 2005 I never had a reason for concern. Now it’s almost impossible for me to venture into the back country, and I won’t go anywhere out there alone or when it’s dark. I’m always armed now. These experiences are visceral and change your worldview dramatically.
The first encounter occurred as a friend and I went on one of our frequent Jeep adventures. We were headed to central Utah in San Pete county. We were simply driving south on highway 89 and made a left hand turn heading towards the small town of Milburn. Suddenly we came upon a massive creature standing in sagebrush on a hillside not far from us. I brought the Jeep to a sudden stop. We were speechless. After a few seconds the Big Foot took 2 1/2 steps and vanished. My friend and I looked at each other with eyes wide open and said simultaneously, “Did you see that?”
We sat there for a time comparing notes. We each said it was about 9’ tall and probably weighed in excess of 700 lbs; probably more. It’s hair was jet black. It’s shoulders were at least 4’ wide, possibly more. It’s body shape tapered in from its shoulders towards its waistline. The arms and legs were massive with muscle. Its head was seemingly sitting on its torso w/o any neck that we could discern.
How did it disappear? It was walking and after 2 1/2 long strides it vanished. It didn’t drop to the ground or take off in a sprint towards the trees. It simply vanished which really terrified us because it was moving toward the road we had to travel when it disappeared. Only years later after a lot of research I discovered there are other reports of Big Foot disappearing. I won’t speculate as to how this happens. I’ll only report the facts based on what we experienced.
Later in the same year I had two other sightings of other kinds of creatures that were not Big Foot and not anything we’ve come to expect as a normal part of life on earth. I’ll simply say my wife and I saw the first one together as it walked on two legs across a street in front of us. It was a canine on two feet. That’s all I’ll say. The other non Big Foot sighting occurred very close to home. It defies description because no one would believe what I saw. I’ve searched the Internet hoping to find accounts of others who’ve seen the creature I saw. But I haven’t found any accounts so I’ll keep it to myself. This was actually the most disturbing of the four encounters of 2005 and leaves me undone when I think about it. This world is not what we were told it was in school or college. Not by a long shot.
Late in 2005 my friend and I were on another Jeep adventure and while passing through San Pete county on our way to the San Rafael Swell, we decided to take a side trip into a small range of mountains we had always been curious to explore. We found an access road and paused on a bridge over a small canal or big ditch depending on your viewpoint.
We were discussing which route to take when I noticed movement out the drivers side window and turned to see what it was. The sight that met me face to face filled me instantly with terror and shock.... I was looking into the face of a Big Foot 10’ away. I could only see it’s head, shoulders, chest, and arms as the rest of its body was out of view because the Jeep door at the bottom of my window blocked the view and because it was down in the canal or deep ditch.
I stared at it for a few seconds unable to move or speak. It’s head was very coned shaped. It’s hair was gray with flecks of white and brown giving it a grizzled appearance. I was stunned to see that it had hair growing upward on its forehead from its brow ridge up into the hair on its head. It’s hair follicles for its beard we’re almost up to its eyes so most of the face was covered with hair. There was even hair on part of its nose. The facial skin that I could see was dark gray in color. The face did not look human to me at all even though other people have reported seeing human facial features. If anything, it had a “Sloth-like” appearance to its face. It’s wide mouth was closed so I didn’t see the teeth.
The head was large but seemed too small for its incredibly wide shoulders which at 10’ away from me looked even wider than 4’. Maybe 4 1/2 feet? Maybe 5 feet? The chest of this animal was very barrel shaped and muscular. It’s arms were at its side but I didn’t see anything unusual about them other than the massive size. I didn’t see it’s elbows or lower arms or hands.
It’s face didn’t seem to have any expression that caused alarm such that it intended harm, but I was still terrified nonetheless. Everything I’m describing was observed in a few seconds and then I was overwhelmed with the need to get out of there. Panic was taking over and I threw the transmission in reverse and stomped on the gas and backed out of there so fast my friend thought I was going to roll the Jeep.
He didn’t see the Big Foot as it was only visible from the drivers window looking down into the deep ditch from on top of the bridge. Once I backed onto the paved road we tore out of there for a couple miles until I could get ahold of myself and pull over. I was shaking uncontrollably as you might imagine.
Since my friend witnessed the other Big Foot, he had no trouble believing my experience. He could see the fright on my face and the trembling all over my body. He had to drive for the next stretch of our adventure. I’ve never been able to return to the bridge where that sighting occurred. I’ve wondered if my encounter there was reminiscent of the tales passed down through the ages of trolls under bridges? We’re people seeing Big Foot? I’ve pondered why it may have been under the bridge? Maybe it was sleeping in a cool shady place? Perhaps the rumbling sound of the Jeep engine woke it up and it came out to investigate? Whatever the cause or reason for the encounter, having seen one of these massive beasts face to face basically ruined my outdoor lifestyle.
Anyone who sees one of these creatures will never be the same again. There’s no going back to life before Big Foot or the other inexplicable things that inhabit this world.

I suppose after the passage of another year I can describe the 4th creature I witnessed. I’m not sure how to categorize what I saw? In the loosest of terms I could say it was a “cryptid” but it really defies description in any commonly understood category. In order to begin to make sense of it, anyone who investigates further should look into terms like “programmable matter” and “black goo” as those are jumping off points that will take you on a long road of exploration. An investigator that’s worth checking into is J. C. Johnson who documents other strange encounters in the 4-corners region of the US. There used to be several UA-cam videos from Johnson. I suppose they may still be around but I haven’t looked in over a year since his passing. Okay, on with my experience.
I used to live out in the country surrounded by farm land a few miles outside of the nearest town in a large valley along the Wasatch range of the Rocky Mountains. I was very close to the foothills leading up into 11,000 foot peaks. On the day of this unfortunate encounter I was working in my yard on a landscaping project and had just walked into the house for a cold drink of water and something to eat. I was standing at the sliding glass door looking at the project and the next task when I saw a colorful male American Kestrel hawk struggling to fly and it landed in my yard right where I had been planting some barberries. It looked sickly. Even when flying I could see that something was very wrong with this bird. It did not look normal.
Then I witnessed the most inexplicable thing. The bird was moving its bones around inside of its skin in the strangest manner. I could see things shifting around in the birds chest area and where the wings attach to its body. Then, before I could process another thought, the bird suddenly changed shape and I became sick to my stomach and filled with worry, shock, and perhaps some panic? What the hell was going on? After 15 years, I have forgotten the exact order of what I witnessed next, but suffice it to say that over the next few minutes I observed this thing changing shapes a few times. I think the first metamorphosis was into a sickly looking rabbit with ears that were way too large and other deformities that gave it a repulsive look.
After a minute or so, it then changed shape again after I saw the same unusual phenomenon of movement from inside of the creatures body. Over the course of the event I saw this thing change into a ground squirrel, a marmot, a weasel, and finally into a badger. Each animal was badly misshapen and anatomically incorrect. When I loosely described this as a cryptid I actually don’t have any concrete evidence for shapeshifting animals like this. I do not believe that any “natural” animal has this type of power to change shapes. I was observing something else entirely. But what it was I can’t say for certain- Do the research I suggested above. Perhaps someone will find the answer. My best guess based on years of research is that this thing possibly escaped from a laboratory and it’s not actually a living creature at all. But rather something that can be programmed and perhaps it was not functioning properly?
When the “creature” morphed into the badger it jumped off the retaining wall that separated our land from the adjacent field and then ran over to an uncovered storm drain and dropped down into the hole. By this time my teenage son came back upstairs to help me in the yard and I assigned him to stand at the glass door and watch that hole in the ground while I ran over to investigate. I’ll admit that before I jumped off the retaining wall and dropped the 3 ft to the field I was filled with worry and was glad I had picked up a heavy tool to defend myself. I slowly walked over to the storm drain but nothing was in the hole. It had disappeared. I never saw it again but that’s not the end of the story.
The land around us for a mile in all directions was all being developed and would soon sprout hundreds of houses and businesses and that’s why there was a storm drain near my home and also trenches all over the place. It was time to move away and get out of there which unfortunately required too many years.
Here’s where the story continues to be interesting. Over the next 2 weeks, two different friends were traveling past our home and had to stop multiple times because of construction as water, gas, and sewer lines were being installed and the roads were torn up badly. Both of them later called me to report the strangest experiences of their lives. Each of them witnessed exactly what I saw in my yard including all of the facts I shared about this thing changing shapes and the final badger running into a hole to disappear. Each of my friends was so badly effected by the experience that they were left sick inside and filled with nausea and terror. I of course had the same physiological effects from the event and for several weeks after I’d suddenly feel like I was going to throw up and get very weak and I’d have to lay down. It was also associated with a debilitating sense of fear that I couldn’t push away. Sometimes that fear grew into absolute terror.
If that creature was the result of some kind of technology, did it emit an energy that makes humans physically ill and filled with fear? I can’t say for sure what the source of that illness was or why we were filled with fear and terror, but I worked in the high tech industry for nearly 4 decades and long enough to know that electromagnetic waves are not good for the human body. Something definitely affected our bodies when the creature was seen.
Yes, I’ve seen Big Foot twice and I’ve also seen a canine walking on two feet (was it a juvenile dog man or something else? I don’t know?), but this shape shifting creature was by far the worst such encounter I’ve had. It still bothers me to the core anytime I happen to think about it. In the 15 years since 2005, I have not witnessed any further sightings of these cryptid beings. Thank heavens for that. But I have had other unusual and upsetting things occur that continue to make it very hard to be in the outdoors alone which I never do anymore. I still fly fish a lot but always with friends. I’m lucky to have some friends who believe in these types of things because of their own experiences.
Nothing happens in isolation. My sense of all of these types of unfortunate events that happen to people all across the earth is that they are tied to an agenda or multiple agendas that are playing out in our lives right now. I did stumble onto an interesting website you might want to investigate because it deeply looks into these matters. I’m not trying to promote any religious viewpoints expressed at the website. But, they chronicle a lot of fantastic data. It’s called “theseedwar.com”

The hard part is knowing that most people soo closed-minded, that they willfully miss out on the mind expanding experiences and knowledge. I usually do a test on people to see if they are open or closed minded before venturing into off-line/ not main stream info with them. After testing out a neighbor for his deeper mind-set under the public face he played. I told him about seeing a 500 lbs +/- black bear in the valley below us. I braced myself for a round of ribbing, instead he hugged me saying thank you. Now I was friggen confused. He saw the beast cross the road two nights before and nearly hit him. He was going nuts keeping that to himself (for fear of being riddiculed). The bear was never seen again after the hunting season. Wonder if someone got him or it went deeper into the woods ?

I believe you. Would you believe me if I told you I have seen a UFO up close ? At least a 200 foot wide silent Black Triangle hovering above me without a sound. One light at each tip converged at the center then back out to the tips. I was in the edge of some woods at 2am setting up a 40 meter dipole for HF work. It was a stealth antenna. Anyway, I became terrified. I ran back to my house. I couldn’t sleep for a couple of days. That was in the Adirondack Mountains in 1993. I can’t go in the woods alone anymore. It’s been 26 years.
I can’t even imagine being in a house being beaten by something like that. That is un-nerving.

Thank you sir, you seem to me as a stand up honest man. When I was in the Marine a friend of mine had a story, he had told another friend but had not told me yet. When I asked him he didn't want to talk about it. I asked several times and every time his demeanor would change, normally he was a happy go lucky guy ,always smiling. I guess I shouldn't have pursued it but one night we were hitting the bottle pretty hard, typical jar heads you know, and laughing having a good time and I asked. He immediately sobered up his smile went away, he told me him, two buddy's and a dog were camping out somewhere's in Michigan The dog went frantic and took off behind them, they say a huge man walking toward them and it walked up to the fire, looked at them and walked away. He was not wearing clothing was very hairy and looked like a man in the face.
This friend of mine was a very honest man, I had known him several years,we first met in Okinawa and were stationed together in North Carolina.
This and because of so many Native American stories and places named after this creature is why I believe, I also believe a lot of people like to blow smoke up your ass to get attention.
I do believe you, so keep on keeping on and God bless.
Oh one more thing, check out the legend of the Missouri Blue Man, That happened in the county I just bought some land in, I'm going to build a 1800's type homestead and hope to document it, click on my icon to check it out, just getting started.

Talked with a guy from Calgary Canada. Said his family had a run in with a Bigfoot when he was a kid. His dad almost hit one on a hwy. They swerved to miss it and it put out it's hand and touched the side car door window as they pasted. He said he will never forget it because the hand was huge and hairy.

Steve, i absolutely love your videos man i cant get enough. Truthfully i had always thought of these beings as a myth, generally because the person normally telling the story has clearly taken far too much acid for their own good. I've seen enough of your video's to know that you're a no bullshit, straightforward kind of person so hearing this from you has completely changed the way i think about the topic. Thanks dude, everything you put out is very informative and i always learn so much from each video you make, keep em coming

I’ve seen one here on our reservation in Oregon. It was in 1985, I was around 16, my older sister & I decided to drive up the Rez. We turn to drive onto the road going to our reservation, she looked down to shift gears & I asked her What is that? It was around 4-5 ft tall, all orange in color & just looked at our car & took off running up the mountain. She never seen it, I was so mad she had looked down to shift. It was very real. There have been a few sightings of them around here through the years. Thanks for sharing your grandpa’s experience.

My uncle Wolf West. Grazed the deer on his farm. Said he lost his taste for deer meat in east Texas. Forests of east Texas. He was the strongest and smartest of my family. He passed on in his sleep. He never wanted us to be scared of hunting. He just said don't go by yourself and and don't get lost. So I figure you better take your GPS with you. It's strange that none of my husband's wanted me to go hunting. Only my dad asked me to go duck hunting. I was shooting guns when I was six years old. Love nature and my creator.

I was always open minded to the existence of Bigfoot and other cryptids but had never seen one and never wanted to. That changed in Nov 2018 while deer hunting. I seen what has became to known as Dogman and I know what I seen. I share your attitude in as I don’t care who believes me and who doesn’t. Again, I know what I seen!! You said it best when you said that a lot of people’s ego won’t let them believe these things exist. I admire the fact that you haven’t let these sightings keep you from doing what you love. I was hunting on my family farm when I had my sighting about 250yds. from the front door of my home. My sighting has hampered me from my favorite hobby which is hunting. It is getting easier and people like you are what makes it easier for me to get back out and do what I love to do. Thank You for sharing.

My name is Paul Barrett, from the northern panhandle of Idaho. I know four different people who have seen, heard and actually have a photo of one six feet away from an old friends window. Mark has since passed away but a mutual friend I had a beer with had shown me the actual photo. I asked Rick why didn't ever tell anyone but I understand now. I was in awe for about a half hour staring at this photo. I'm hoping to get the photo from Rick but not sure if he will go e it up since he swore to secrecy to Mark not to let anyone have. Well anyways I've never seen anything but have had strange things happen to me that I couldn't explain. I'm very careful now these days because I believe they exist and never want to ever have an encounter.

We live in a very rural area of northern Michigan and about 3 years ago my little brother ( who is 45 now) proceeded to tell me the farm he’s been working on helping his friend birth Clydesdale colts and bailing hay for them that he saw something the size and just about the same color of one of those hay bales run across the field on 2 legs then in two steps cross our 2 lane road here and pass easily over the 5’ ditch on the other side of the road and disappear into the woods. Now like your grandfather my brother is a brutally honest person and he believes in nothing like that and when he told me the story his eyes were huge and he actually looked terrified. About 2 years after that an old timer who is a no B.S. trapper told my husband and I to not hunt and area we were discussing scoping out for deer season. He told us that there is something large, male and hairy that is very territorial about this part of the forest. Then last summer I’m not sure exactly how it came up but my mother who lives in the next town north of us told us that people have been talking about seeing large hairy things in the woods and the screaming that they have been hearing is keeping people from sitting outside on their back decks. These people have lived here for 30 years or more and they know what makes what sounds in these woods. There is a very large swamp about 30 miles from us that has had reports of sightings that go back to the 80’s so I was not a believer before but to many people I know and respect have seen them in the National and state forest all around our area.
