Very interesting to see how the landmarks have changed over the years. I had a boat trip down the Thames in 2014 which I videoed and captured the Tower as we went past. The journey started at the O2 and finished at Big Ben.
I was thinking of doing something related to the London Olympics - its going to be 10 years ago this year! Sorry if that makes one feel ancient!

@@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtist My daughter won 4 tickets and we went to the 2012 Paralympic games. I have photo's taken at the event and what a great day it was - great atmosphere from everybody who went, including the police who allowed us to pose and take photo's with them, including their rifles! Security was tight and we felt very safe. I had a pc crash and lost all my video's up to that time!!

Thank you, James. As always, much appreciated. My daughter and her husband lived at Queen of Denmark Court (?), circa 2002 (Shad Thames area). When visiting with my Darling Mary (L's Mother), I would leave the Ladies to blether about 'important things', and visit a wee Shad Thames pub, after which I went round a few corners and studied the Tower without.
One of these old afternoons, I hope we may return and enter the Tower, exploring and realise the atmospheres within. By the way, L is now a successful Barrister, working from chambers that include Keir Starmer and Amal Clooney (her husband George is an actor, I believe ...).

A bit of a correction: The monarch before Queen Victoria is King William IV, not William VI (who never existed). Queen Anne was generally known as simply ‘Anne’ instead of ‘Anne Stuart’ during her reign. Nevertheless, good work!
