- Garden Lodge at Logan Place in Kensington, London W8 is a detached house that was built from 1908-09 house,and was the last residence of the singer and songwriter Freddie Mercury from 1980 until his death at the house in 1991.
There must be a museum of Freddie Mercury for all the people who adore and love and appriciate his art and his personality!
You have one in Montreux
I don’t think Freddie would have wanted this place to become a museum, he would have found it all a bit boring, in my opinion he’d prefer us to remember him through the music with a drink in our hands and a smile on our face. Just my opinion 🍹

what a fantastic place, to live like that in that area is so cool, I been there in "92 when it was still a shrine was an amazing feeling to be there.
The place is massive. So rare to have that amount of space and gardens in that area. He bought it years ago. Fantastic investment.

Freddie explicitly stated he did not want Garden Lodge open to the public as it was HIS private sanctuary, he always wanted it to be a family home full of life.
He also did not want his possessions in a museum because he felt that museums were full of dead things.
