My best guess for the question at 1:38:23 is that you're playing a security guard who left a woman being exploited at work for another woman who was likely one of the exploiters. Your first girlfriend committed suicide, then came back to get revenge on the mean girls that took advantage of her, and then eventually sought revenge on you.
"10 23 that was recent!" emphasis on WAS, like 8 months ago it was recent. either the 23 stands for a year or a day, but it's hella far off either way, because if it represents a day then 10 is the month or the year, and if it represents the year then 10 is either the month or the day. so uh... pre recorded? nah jk, feesh probably just saw the 23 and couldn't remember the month, immediately assuming it was October because she couldn't remember what month it was off the top of her head lol.
Im confuse, it is already stated in the beginning that the security guard is new and ochigi is missing. The boss clearly knows that you are the new one. But the ending says that you are ochigi. Please tell me the real story about this game😭😭
All of those points are correct, from my understanding. You're the new security guard. You're the old security guard. While playing you're in the understanding that you're the new guy, but some of the NPCs talk to you strangely like you're not new. I believe all the characters you meet are dead (except your child, wife, and maybe the janitor). I'm pretty sure that the boss was creating a stressful environment. There was Girl A who was working hard. Boss was puting extra workload on her and everyone, coworkers seeing her working hard entrusted their work to her too, pushing her further. To one thing she liked at work was Ochigi. But her coworkers took that from her too. Girl A proceeded to kill herself, and probably killed her boss and workers too (depending on narrative intent, could be she only killed herself, then killed others as a ghost). She's vengeful against Ochigi too for leaving her (btw she was possibly just the delusional stalker type). Since Girl A was obsessed with you, she haunts you with the situation she was last in. You, the security guard who left, remembered as the new guy. Personally I assume she killed herself with the stairs, as everyone going to the stairs dies (particularly the TV scene where the two female coworkers are split up was supposed to be the player's clue towards getting the two endings). Side details: I don't think the janitor was meant to be too meaningful. There was actual blood to clean up and was being cleaned up. She is not a "participant" of this whole situation. The ridiculous Slappy doll was probably because of assets the creator had access to. The focus on bathroom scenes is because japanese horror likes to assume that's where bullied girls go to cry until they die. It's not clear "when and where" this haunting happens. Japanese ghosts are supposed to be limited to the place of their death, so maybe you did drive there. But your character already previously had reason to quit. The part of doing your job seems to already be a part of the haunting, hence this dumb guy being compelled to continue to find "no abnormalities". The start and end of the haunting would be the same location, finding you passed out to bring to the hospital. A car crash would be a convenient explanation, but that's reaching a bit far for haunting tropes. But then the ghost was depicted in the good end at the hospital? Wait, that's illegal...
I don't think that you are Ochigi and even if you are a new security guard, that's not your first shift but your first night shift. If you are Ochigi the manager message make no sense. That's why some people seems to know you while other not. You are taking the night shift after Ochigi disappeared so I think that the Ochigi is dead. His body is the one in the 11th floor, he had an affair with the lady that ask the MC contact, and told to the lady in red that he wanted to break up. Because of all the harrassment and all she snapped thinking he had found someone else and killed Ochigi hiding him in a locker then killed herself. Then night shift. She's obsessed with Ochigi. Ochigi was the night shift security guard but dead she is triggered by any security guard doing the night shift making him the new object of her obsession. That why you have to put your kid birthday as a code to be free from the looping trap she got you into. You have to show that you are not Ochigi so that she will let you go. The blood that the janitor clean his probably yours that why she looks at you like she has seen a ghost because that's what you are for her. The ghost tried to kill you like it killed the two other women. But being trap between life and death you live your first night shift like a nightmare because the lady in red won't let you go because she see you as Ochigi. Since you have shown her that you are not Ochigi she let you go. But to make you understand that all this was not just a nightmare she appeared at the hospital not as menace but because you give her a closure by knowing the Truth about what happened to her, acknowledge her death which none of her coworker seems to have noticed and maybe to remind you what while happen to you if you ever cheat in your wife xD. I don't think that all the 🚨 we heard in the tape was about her but your on memories of being taken to hospital
