The year he had an old Cassel and Sprewsll, he won MVP and took the Wolves to the WCF. When he went to Boston, he won DPOY and immediately won the championship, destroying the lakers in the 6th game.

Even though KG has a couple of spectacular blocks, the Wolves were double-teaming Duncan every time. Also, Tim was able to contest almost all of KG's shot attempts and alter/disrupt A LOT of them. People also forget Kg had the longest consecutive streak of double digit scoring since Jordan going when Duncan and he got ejected one game and Kg had 9 points. But eventually Kg became the the better player, even dirk was too. It really would be a what if had Kg not blown his knee out in 09, Celtics would have 3 peated for sure. Pop really saved Tim's knee all those years resting him and changing the offense for Parker and Ginobli.

in 2003, parker and ginobli were rookies, robinson averaged like 7 points 7 rebounds a game and TD won a chip with that team, one of only 3 players to win a chip with only 2 player averaging 10+ point per game. (the others being hakeem and jordan) SO even by your logic TD was better.

His abilty to make the correct play and be in the correct position is what allowed him to such an impact on games HIS ENTIRE CAREER. When KG lost his athleticism, he was just a talented veteran. But Tim did not need that to be elite. I guess you could pick your flavor, but unless you were looking for a passionate loudmouth, i cant see why you would pick Garnett over Duncan.
