I co-designed and co-developed Sycamore for Google in the 1980s, though I was designing quantum computing techs of IBM and the Chinese (1970s to "early" 80s) and Microsoft (1970s to 80s). #PayTamayo

Another step in a long journey. 👏

Back in 1979, I first solved the Schrodinger equation for a Hydrogen atom and was left in awe. However, when I had the opportunity to try the IBM quantum computer via cloud for the first time in 2016, I was blown away by its capabilities. Now, with the advent of multi-qubit logical groups with error corrections, the technology has truly surpassed anything we could have imagined. Your team's great work is truly impressive and I encourage you to keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
You have the background to create an authoritative context for yourself. As a layman, I see the very slight improvement in error for the larger qubit array as just an encouraging baby step. The development of the psychics and math for the very large and very small appear to be in uncertain stages at this point. Perhaps that is just the nature of the beast(s) or a barrier which is beyond the comprehension and control of humanity. I'm not arguing for the role of some higher force, only for the presence of limitations to our understanding and its subsequent utilization.
You're amazing, there's not many people like you
This is very exciting, and I have no idea what they are talking about!!!
Go read Ruth Ozeki's novel, A Tale for the Time Being. She'll explain quantum theory in language even artists can understand.
Also looks like videographer went to film school, not too shabby on the graphic designer on your team making engineering gibberish easier to understand for ordinary human beings, and I feel so much better seeing your AI team holding pens, writing on white boards, and using Post-It notes like the rest of us! 🙂 Truly fascinating stuff, thanks for the sneak preview.
of course the entire AI Team is gorgeous and outgoing...they are model scientists.
The film was made by a Creative agency called 'Across the Pond', hired by Google.
Wow, can’t wait to see the implications of this progression. Nice work 👍🏻
This is very exciting! Thank you Google Quantum AI team!
Super excited about the future of Quantum Computing!
This is amazing. You can see the persistence and stubbornness of engineers and computer scientists in this team, working through obstacles towards a better future. This is so encouraging to see, and I can't wait to hear about the next big breakthrough!
Okay, I'm the only one lost here, every one else is genius!!!
Keep up the good work everyone!
Exciting and inspiring! Impossible is nothing....
Frequency is an important parameter used in science and engineering to specify the temporal rate of change observed in oscillatory and periodic phenomena, such as mechanical vibrations, audio signals (sound), radio waves, and light.
wish I could do that 🤘 awesome stuff
Just presented & reviewed this paper with my research group. Sufficit to say the main professor and much of the group was quite sceptical as to how feasible it was that Google managed to downscale the logical error given the 10-20% error detection rate on the stabilizers. It doesn't necessarily help that all the simulations underpredict the errors either.
Exciting progress!
see, y=mx + b shows up again! congrats Team
Congratulations Google Quantum AI Team! You have all collectively opened the largest door ever opened by humans on Earth.
its been open before. opened to hell
??
Yes it’s cool but this is only one research project that took a few months
what about LGBTQ rights?
@@_A-qg5vf we are currently trying to recluse that door. Caveat Emptor and what not
This makes me even more excited to soon be a pioneer in this young frontier. Bringing theory to practice shows the limitless possibilities QC has for the ever nearing future! #googlequantum
Is there a course or internship for engaging more with the work?
2040 error correction finally fully optimized and results mind blowing. Road still so far. It's take decade to slove complex poblem small unit of power .
They are trying to get this done before 2030 and not just google but IBM, Microsoft, ionq, Dwave and others are all racing to get this done before 2030.
GROUNDBREAKING! truly
If more qubits are directly corelated with the numers of errors then a different approach is needed, other than that good job so far
no idea what any of this means but sounds cool!
interesting, thank you!
I love this!!
Great achievement. Congrats Google IA team.
Awesome!
OMG THIS IS SO EXITING, superpositions, SUPERPOSITIONS.
So cool!
We are almost there. It's just on the horizon.

Why it looks like as 2nd part of Interstellar?
what is acceptable data loss? even our computers now have that. where is that for quantum computers?
Good
How can I work with this team? I'm pretty sure I can help solve some of these problems
I guess with a phd in quantum physics and articles in peer-reviewed journals
Amazing well done google just don’t put it in a robot
when will be able to perform real world datasets in quantum computers
Possibly in 2025.
i would wire light like the human brain. scary huh. like fiber optic.
the light photons should be able to go fast enough for a fast calculation and you dont have to cool it so much.
My humble request is please start the quantum computing services for climate control, farming, bio energy to grow in that direction .. not for social networking plz 🙏
How about using some of your AI to keep scammers off UA-cam? Right now I'm waiting for a Quantum spoofer to invite to a whatsap chat.
Here is the video that everyone's been looking f-

THE FUTURE IS NOW!!
It's very likely possible that this could be the key to time travel, It's said that this type of science using protons or whatever could eventually lead to that stuff.
Who's in to team up with me?
Inspiring. We are so close to a utopian present.
It’s truly an amazing time to be alive.
@@tomorrowsintelligence It truly is the most exciting time in human history.
This is ridiculous. In a century, my grandkids will be hearing the same hype about Quamtum computers.
👏👏👏
can you play minecraft on it

Only 20 comments? And this was on the google homepage
First and **MOST** important problem for quantum computers to fix/solve:
How do we reach people who don't believe in science and education in general, *and* get them to embrace the real world and reject conspiracy theories?
I'm not joking. Really. Solve this problem and *LOTS* of other problems either fix themselves or get much better.
yes :DD #embraceai #embracequantum

People think this technology is a joke. People will
Be the joke
Humans made God mind 😜
Excellent video ruined by the uncessary use of constant music. Think that your audience is going to be quite well educated and interested, why do you need to add music over people talking, we want to hear what they have to say, not the music.
Good luck. Trying to solve global warming. There are consequences of playing God.
Why is the Human brain alone involved here..?! Let's train LLMs to have an AI part of your team,
Humans brains are smarter, but still...! Just train an AI with your current findings and let's make it happen....
Quantum computers are one of those things that shouldn't exist, and break reality if they do. Like teleportation or time travel. I don't know if humans will even exist in a post-quantum-compute world.
Watch the anime called Steins;Gate. It touches on the dangers of these technologies.
You are clearly an expert in the field.
All of it is possible.
Place your orders, ladies & gents - what would you like QC to solve, once it's up and running:
1. Solve human tribes warring with each other.
All else will take care of itself.
Hire me! And I will solve
This sounds like a joke script that talks about nonsense
