Sean Carroll has assailed the term "God Particle" as distracting, misrepresentative, etc. I've heard him mildly lump the title of his book into that feeling, but he certainly never said the title is "such a bullshit title" that was designed to do nothing but get the public to "spend, spend, spend!" In case your ability to string logical and topical statements together is compromised, I'll put a fine point on it. I was challenging you on those assertions. As if the title of the book was so outlandishly ridiculous and the big bad publishing world is manipulating the public at large to "spend, spend, spend" at the cost of all else. No, the title of the book, though inaccurate, is perfectly in line with the messaging coming out of the theoretical physics community, and publishers know it.
