- Let’s take a junk journal window envelope and make it into a pocket, but with a bit of a twist. Then let’s take apart some stamped flowers and turn them into chicken wings and butterflies. There’s no end to the wacky hijinks today, friends!

If you’re looking for more junk journal ponderings…. Last summer, I made a limited-series podcast about all my deep thoughts regarding junk journaling. It’s free on the Spotify app! Search for “Ordinary Paper” or link here:

Note that in the first episode, I mention that I was doing a podcast because I didn’t think I had enough ideas for a UA-cam channel. Things (happily) went a different way, so ummm, never mind on that! - Комедії
Hello Anne, what an adorable whimsical pocket. I just love watching when you do the whimsical things. This is one that I will have to teach my friend as we are working on our first complete journals. We are having so much fun creating them and your ideas are being used frequently. This is making it so much more of a true junk journal using junk and creating instead of purchasing digital kits. As always thank you for your inspiration.😊
Pam, you're so kind, thank you so much! I know you and your friend are making some fantastic art together and making great memories at the same time! Thanks for watching!
This little project turned out really cute. Such talent you have. I love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Kathy! This one was kind of fun and different for me, too!
As always whimsical and adorable! Thanks Anne
Kim, thanks so much for watching, I appreciate you!
Very cute. Love your whimsical little birds. I think the top one looks like it has ears.
It sort of does look ear-like, doesn't it? I'm actually practicing with some more today, just to get more familiar with placement. Thanks for watching!
I really like all these whimsical animals you've been making!!😊 Thank you so much😊

Thank you, Lynda! Have fun with the little fluttery wings, too! The onion skin dye comes out different every time, but it's fun to use!
Love this idea! Thank you again. You always amaze me with what you come up with .
You're so kind! Thank you so much, Dayna!
Wasn't able to watch all of this. I'm back and of course loving the whimsical. I guess all I missed was the book paper on sides which is just what it need and the cute picture of the town. Cont wait to see what you come up with next😊❤
Thanks so much, Suzy! And thanks also for connecting me with Julie. We are cooking up some fun that you'll see soon!

Oh my goodness, this is so cute and so so doable. Thank you for showing us and sharing.
Oh, thank you so much - and the greatest compliment you could have given me is by saying it is "so so doable" - that's what I always strive for! Nothing complicated here! Thanks for watching, I appreciate you!
Lovely and cute I really enjoy your projects. You make it so easy thank you
Thanks so much, Marisol! It's a really fun way to use flower petals - so easy, yes! Thanks for watching!
How cute!!😊
Thanks, Bette-Ann!
love it, I have that stamp set and should use it more. just adorable - tfs
Thanks, Kathy! I have used that stamp set SO often over the years. I seem to have a lot of Stampin' Up sets and it's one of my faves. Thanks for watching!
I was so happy to see another one of your videos show up on my feed, and loved learning another technique for creating whimsical chickens! So adorable! And I have that Textures & Frames stamp set as well as Sunshine Sayings that you used for the flower!😁
Thank you, Tricia! That stamp set is just the best, isn't it? So versatile. I really appreciate your watching. I have new videos every Tuesday and Friday morning, so you can always find me even if I'm not in your feed. Thank you so much for crafting along with me!
Love your little chics 😊
Thanks, Sharon! I need to make some more of those!
LOL adorable chicks they made me laugh🐥🐥! 🐣 super cute idea! I have been paper punching flowers 🌸 and have used them for wings. tyfs
I'm so delighted these resonated with you! I've been having fun using them, myself. I do love using the flower petals in unusual ways. Thanks for watching!
Hi Anne...have you noticed im the only comment so far not from a lady name followed by numbers?...lol. LOVED your envelope project, very fun and whimsical. ❤B
Thank you, my friend! 🐤🐻😍
When you’re talking about “glitter” glue - it doesn’t have glitter in it? I hate glitter 😮thank you!
No glitter don't know why the call it that.
Thank you!
Yes, Suzy is right - "Art Glitter" is just the name of the manufacturer, and this is their glue. It's one of the most confusing names in the craft world - absolutely no glitter involved, just a terrific and fast-drying white glue!
Cute but you could use flowers for bees
You can! Thanks!
Your paper doesn’t smell like onion😄😄
Hahaha, I did honestly worry about that when I made this concoction years ago! But there's not even a hint of an onion smell. Thanks for watching, Diane!
