Always up for these guys' content! So much fun! See me liking even before I watch it. Such good vibes! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
I'm your fan too
I also love ur content Suzy 💞
Am your fan too
Ur biggest fan
I am your fan big time Suzy. OMG!! Your content I boommmbbbbb...
Clean hoho, daniah, courgette, spinach, skuma , excess nyanya chop them up and freeze in freezer bags/plastic bags.
don't wash carrots, place all in a plastic bag with paper towel and and cut a hole to pull one carrot at a time.
lemon squeeze fresh juice and freeze in ice cubes
bananas if too ripe like yours, peel chop and freeze for smoothies
Don't wash food with soap, dilute vinegar with water and wash when ready to cook. Place pineapple peels, orange peels, lemon peels with cinnamon, vanilla extract and cloves in a pot with water covering all ingredients. Let it boil for 15-20 minutes uncovered and your whole house will smell amazing 🤩. Reuse for 2- 3 days
Aki you're the best, the best comment ever
Thanks dear ❣️
@@Happi-Aziidah welcome dear. Try the last comment to get rid of odour in the house.
Waooo this nice then dnt buy as much then blend and freeze Hoho or nyanya when the start wrinkling
Good
Use vinegar to wash the vegetables or fruits instead of a soap
for cucumber put them in polythin bag and put a spoon inside na ufunge....for hoho wrap them with a foil ....for dania use a cotton wrap clothe to help them stay moist for nyanya mix them with lemons and for carrots ziweke kwa polythin...(place them in a fridge) ukikosa polythin use the wraping polythin foil pia.thank me later.
15:27 please never store food in the fridge without a cover, you can wrap it with aluminium foil or the cling wrap if it doesn't have a lid, there's bacteria too in the fridge, that's why food rots even when refrigerated.
I dont store my tomatoes in the fridge... store them together with lemons and thank me later. no matter how ripe they are hazitabondeka
For hohos carrots courgettes get the zip lined papers or recycle the bread ones they stay longer i also dont pre wash my veges i was when i am using ukieka kwa comoatmentbya tomatoes they loose crunchiness and freshness ama pia cling film
Hi, The best way to store cupscum is to dice them into small pieces and freeze it. with zucchini just wrap it with paper towel and make sure they are dry before wrapping.
You can also freeze bananas for smoothies.
Well hoho's, danias, parsley, cabbages, spinach, onions, tomatoes.....basically veges, I wash, cut in small pieces/ chop with a food processor and put them in a ziploc/ freezer bags or/and mason jars and put them in the freezer. Then take the ones you need out about an hour earlier to cook. Works for me and saves time & money.
Been even saving more since I discovered batch cooking from one and only Suzy homestead....I see her here supporting.
Good job guys.....
I store them in airtight containers and for hohos I also wrap them with cling foil. Ensure tomatoes dry out completely before storing them
Nyanya 3/10 😱😱😱 Nahama huku... Kitsuru wewe aki😭😭😭😭
Aki Hama 😅. Kitusuru najua mnaumia 🤣🤣
Wash, dry and put them into ziplock bags. Place a sheet or two of paper towel into the bag if you can put them into the section of the fridge that is specifically made for vegetables or fruits.
same thing you did with dhania, i do with courgettes and hohos (wrap in paper towels and put in storage bags) for dhanias, parsely, basil etc. i put in a container with sugar water (kama maua kwa vase) and cover with polythene in the fridge. also, i usually puree my green hohos with melted lard (you can use oil) and store them in the freezer since i only use them to flavour soups. for carrots, put them in sealeable containers with water (unpeeled) and they stay fresh for a month in the fridge.
Store each vegetable in its own zip lock bag.
You can make vegetable soup with the "old vegetables" to clear stock.
put the vegetables in a paper separately (like carrots in their own paper, bell peppers on their own ) then sore as you store in the vegetables section
For your hoho/capsicum wrap each with a cling film and store in the fridge. They will last longer. For Danias and carrots use an aluminium foil to wrap them completely before storing in the fridge. For cabbages and kales use a cling film. Wrap them completely and store in the fridge. Enjoy a fresh kitchen
Store courgettes, carrots and hohos in zip lock bags separately they remain crisp, for tomatoes any contact with water makes them rot I store mine at the crisp section of the fridge unwashed for a month
Oh woow thank you so much 💓
Yes Yes that is how to store them weka kwa ziplock bags .... then kwa fridge... Store Separately...
My Hohos Carrots and courgettes stay for a month if stored well
Don't wash any vegetables before putting in the fridge, zitakaa Sana, Just wash when using
I also use zip lock..... 1month and they are crisp..... Kama akuna zip lock chukua karatasi za mkate coz akuna polythene. Also washing is a no.... Wash when using.

This is really nice coz saving is my anthem
You can wash the dhanias, leave them on a kitchen towel overnight and store as you have done. Stays for weeks.
Store vegetables in nylon bags, Alafu nyonya hewa na mdomo ama straw and tie the nylon bag tight. Without the air they can stay fresh to a month.
for hohos, gorget wrap with cling film and store in the fridge
For hohos ,carrots, cucumber, do not wash before storing, just put them in clear plastic bag, they last for long
Hoho's,carrots, tomatoes, once they've dried, put them in a dry plastic bag before putting them in the fridge they will last very long hata hio mwezi
Hi Peekays, Just came across your videos for the first time and I loved it. Now, for the plug... Kitambo I used to store hoho na gojet* kwa crisper bila lining ya tissues and they used to go bad. The secret is to ensure your crisper is dry. Wipe your groceries at least once a week. Cook the ones ziko almost kuspoil. For the carrots store them vile mnastore dhania. Polythene paper bags zimenionyesha mambo. Cheers!!
For the plug the ones almost to go bad cut the in small pieces don't wait for them to go bad as in cut the in small pieces like your cooking them and then put them in freezer bags kama hauna freezer bags I use cling film I wrap them alafu I put them in the freezer so when I want to use them I unfreeze them alafu I cook them.
I use vinegar to wash fruits and vegetables
I love the content and tips. For hoho and zucchini i normally grate/chop ,then put them in the freezer in reusable bags or tupperware.

Buy zip locked bags then once you wash, store them seperately...hoho pamoja, nyanya pamoja like that. All veggies really. Carrots and couget (spelling sijui) as you wash cut off the edges. Vitu huishi kwangu yawaaa mpaka im amazed. They last longer. Once in a while wipe them off yaani the moisture makes them go bad haraka. I buy and store my veggies once a month. Ama the same way you store dhanias. Tukiomoka tutanunua Tupperware! Those tins are the read deal.
Woooow looks like zip locks are the answer

Hi. I like your content. Kindly for hohos cover each with cling film or place them ina largetin all together before refrigerating. Wash tomatoes, dry then place in a tin and refrigerate. Courgette and cucumber same as hohos.
Most groceries if mixed tend to spoil due to different gasses that each type emits.
Otherwise good job 👍👍👍
Waooo this really eye opening, this is what we talk about learning from each other.
@@ThePeekays Your welcome 👍👍👍

Some vegetables are stored unwashed. Just the same way you do with dania the same applies to nyanya, cabbage, hoho, carrots, cucumber, eggplants. Don't wash them just store them in a plastic bag or airtight container or wrap them in cling film they will last you more than a month. That's has worked for me for years no regrets. I hope it works for you too

For greens put them in a black paper bag,,, they last longer,,,
I'm new here, great content!!
Thanks for coming
Buy the fridge containers with airtight lids. Ziko kamukunji na 300bob
Hello Millicent??
Don’t wash your veggies until you are ready to use them it keeps them fresh , also don’t store all veggies together because they release a gas that ripens them that makes them go bad faster. Sone veggies last longer in room air in a brown bag than in the fridge
Store tha carrots, hoho, courgette in a ziplock bag but separately, also make sure they dry before putting them in the ziplock bags
Thanks a lot
thanks for this been throwing my danias
Always a platform to learn from one another
Store them in containers or zip paper bags
For hohos and courgettes wrap with cling paper, it will last you for even a month
