@@briansaxonWhat's the refresh rate on Unilogger and how many parameters can it max log, only the ECU or more at the same time? VehiCAL can log infinite parameters at the compromise of sample rate - can log in all control units even TCU and ECU at the same time, it's mostly used for stock stuff or platforms / cars that don't really have dedicated platforms and solutions behind them - just a tip - it's way better than VCDS for stock stuff that's for sure - I still use it even outside that for logging ECU + TCU + Haldex at the same time.
I might be wrong but it seems like you were sitting on LC longer at the track than on the road. Pretty sure back in the 8V days we would see better launches when not holding L/C too long.
Your 1/4 miles times aren't too bad really, Low 12's. you did a 116 mph also which is not bad. The explanation of bogging down at the racetrack makes sense, you can hear it too. Also, didn't you already ran a 11.9 in the past? The launch control on the OEM car must be as briefly as possible, I strongly believe that holding for too long hurts the times. Lastly, there is nothing worst than having to pair up with a dragster next to you. Your chest shakes, you can't even hear your own engine, revs and is the most distracting thing on the most critical moment.
(Google translate) Why would you sell a perfect RS3 8V2 for the 8Y, which is uglier plus inferior in almost every way? It's like the Golf 7 compared to the Golf 8, the generation before was the pinnacle. And it's the same with the Audi RS3. From the outside, the thing looks like it's been hammered into shape and the front is a disaster, as if the radiator grille had degenerated like a birthmark mutating into skin cancer, spreading all over the front. The headlights, a sporty jagged edge on the 8V2, now a fallen L or - as some call it - bags under the eyes, depending on how you look at it. Then the exaggeratedly wide cheeks at the back - why do they need that on a vehicle that's primarily a front-wheel drive? I would understand it in a BMW M3 with X-Drive or a Porsche 911 4S etc. The interior is a ridiculous joke with lots of creaky plastic and a scratch-prone fake piano lacquer finish. B-pillars uncovered on the sides. The design of the digital speedometer display is a clear step backwards. The only advantage would be the so-called torque splitter for the few people who want to know it on the race track. In addition, the 8Y is always slower than the 8Y with the same tuning power level. Only in the stock state Audi gave the 8Y a little more torque for better stock launch. But as soon as you do Stage 1, 2, 3 etc. it is irrelevant and the 8Y is more effective. In any case, I am so happy to keep my 2018 DAZA and thus drive the top of the RS3 models. Next year, a 2022 R8 V10 will be converted to biturbo with 1250 hp by HGP in Germany and then my girlfriend will drive my 640 hp sedan. But 8Y? No thanks. I had hoped for an improvement in the design, especially of the headlights, with the current model update, but unfortunately that didn't happen. The "fallen L" headlights are still there, as is the mutated grille that spreads across the entire front... But probably you had to get the 8Y due to leasing background etc who knows... 🤷🤔
WTF are you talking about? The Golf R MK8 is way quicker than the MK7 and will literally run circles around it in terms of handling. It also brakes much better. lol.
Sitting in staging and everything getting hot definitely doesn’t do it any favors. That has always been my issue at the track.
My 1/4 miles was the exact same time on the street. Although I supplemented with 110.
I have never achieved faster times at the drag strip compared to the road in both my RS3 and TTRS.
Got me excited for boost season coming up.
Same thing happens with my cars. It's faster on the street from the pull off lane, than the strip. Not sure why.
keep em coming
When you did the 11.92 @ 116.29, was that still with a little E85 in the tank?
Yes
So most of his runs on 93 gas are in the lower 12s, at 112-113... Just like I told you before.

@@DMCarReviews Yes I'd love to see it.
Use VehiCAL for logging unless you have something very specific lined up.
I’ll be using Unilogger once I tune the car

It’s possible, I’ve played around with it on the street and haven’t seen much difference but on the track there might be

Carplay has a settings option on the screen to change background colors if gonna keep screen on. Gotta be distracting.
Look at the slope my guy
1-2% slope won’t make a difference from all the testing I’ve done
Higher da at the track didn't help
It didn’t, but the short track was slower for sure.
nice video take the ttrs 1000hp to drag strip
Doing some updates and then I’ll have it back out :)
@@briansaxon did you try 60-130 yet on the ttrs?
you know saying "mexico" is a red flag to the HP. Just gonna get you a nock on the door, if its a slow day.
