One thing I will add that is not in any of the grapple vids out there right now: When you first grapple and you look as far away from your grapple point, you have to look UP as well. That is how you get that rediculous height and can fly over the top of buildings as opposed to just around them.

Broooo this is so relevant right now. I've been looking for tips for Pathfinder's grapple but I figured Respawns last game had something for me and low and behold. You should really make more videos especially with your background knowledge on the movement and mechanics on titanfall. You would get a lot people to the channel cuz nobody is doing guides for Apex Legends as informed as you. Hope you see this comment and thanks for the help.
Hey man thanks for the guide. Love the raw footage, it helps. For me grapple was my #1 tactical form the beginning. Speed of stim, sound bait like holopilot, effectively extends your Melee, out joust a Phase Shifter, can be one of the best DPS on a titan (risk/reward), and one of three tactical that is not duplicated with a boost (stim and cloak being the other 2). Definitely underrated!
Now this vido changed my life lol... I was always wondering how to grapple further and the advances mechanics this game has. Finnaly I came acros you Iniquity!!! This grapple movents improved my playstyle so much and I can't thank you enough!!! Now I am constantly getting 30+ kills! Much love 😍

Obviously different load outs work for different people but Hidden Compartment works for me. Your amazing and i look forward to watching your future videos. i used hidden compartment for a while, there's a bunch of videos with it. But I hate reloading so often so the extra ammo kit works best for my playstyle :)

Heavily heavily underrated game. Amazing game. The TTK isn’t lightning fast by 2 bullets across the map by a shotgun like others. (CoD) I hope this game thrives. Maybe some good DLC packs to keep people’s attention.
I could never understand how iniquity and other youtubers were able to get so fast but then I realized they were on a higher field of view than the default and having a higher fov makes you look and feel much faster than default fov. I also struggle with strafing because that morvement just doesn't register with my thumbs well for over extended distances. I also have a bad habit of double jumping every time I jump
There's another grapple point on the "water side" of Angel city. If you grapple from the left side of the building with a bigass block on it you can get straight to the opposite side of the map flag without slide hopping on buildings/ground.
Very helpful. I started learning the technique before watching but still helped heaps, some videos tho aren't helpful at all. What gen were you when making the video?
I try using pulse blade to hit pilots and unlock the melee but i just end up throwing my knife at the top corner of buildings and look away and jump all the time and i laugh and switch back to grapple.

Or can you literally hold crouch to achieve the same thing with slide-hopping that I'm trying (failing) to pull off by clicking buttons one after another? I'll have to see if the same is possible with a standard-scrub controller on PS4 then, haha. That, in hindsight, makes a lot more sense! Not like I spend much time crouching normally anyway, since everything is so fast paced, haha. Thanks man.
TechbotALPHA use custumized button layouts, i use left bumper as jump, right bumper as melee, right stick for crouching and A for tactical and B for ordnance. these controls are perfect if you dont have a special controller.

You'll probably never read this, but I came back to the game recently and decided I want to learn how to actually use grapple. After carefully watching, grapple went from being unusable to fun and viable on almost every map. I'm by no means 'good', but I'm sure I can improve! So thanks

Iniquity Games reloading is what I hate about legion. To me he is about constant damage which you can't do when you're always reloading.
PirateShipProductions peep behind cover when switching modes or reloading whenever possible.
Grapple just became a main, love that.

Exactly the guide I needed. I do other things with the grapple, but was never able to do this.
This definitely helped me because now I know how to slide jump as well

i keep breaking the grapple when I turn as far as they do
@@Janzer_ I would recommend a higher FOV for practicing grapple. Don't know if it would help with that but it helped me learn
