using local honey is typically better due to the types of pollen in your area. (less of a histamine reaction) you should also use cloves with your lemon because it opens the sinuses and helps the throat as mentioned. Great video =]
Interesting. i love hot toddy's and have made these for many years . Over the holidays I look forward to walking into a pub and smelling the aroma of this drink with a wood fire burning. Your method follows mine to some degree. Although, you did lose me when stated the the citrus was the "last" ingredient, and then you add cloves and a cinnamon stick. But, overall well done. In Mine I double up on the whiskey and reduce the water. This formula keeps my friends a bit "happier" and in the holiday "spirits". Cheers!!

Might be a good thing to remake this video. As soon as you started, it sounded like the demolition men arrived to pull the building down and that awful music drowned out the rest.
No doubt you had a stiff drink after that.
For me, this is too heavy on the whiskey. I don't like to be able to taste the whiskey as I am not used to it. I make mine with tea, 2 tbs. rum, 2 tbs honey, 1/2 tbs lemon juice and a few sprinkles of cinnamon.
