You had me going with that "Nomad" comment. I have a 56 Nomad I work on on my channel. My dad has a 57 4dr wagon and he stopped correcting people about getting "Nice Nomad" comments. Love the wagon. I definitely like patina rides. They tell the best stories.
Ha ha, from the thumbnail I thought you lost your mind. Nice wagon. I had the chance to buy a 4 door 57 wagon for $1000 back in the late 90s . It ran and drove with the 283. I was 17 years old and the guy said I could do a payment plan. I decided that I didn't even want a wagon back then. Now I regret not getting it. Right now I got a 72 short bed c/10 and a 55 two door Fairlane with a built up 429 shoved in the doghouse, it's fast and scary when you get around 120mph. Once again, nice 56. Merry Christmas.
As the former owner of a '56 Nomad, I was getting ready to read you the riot act! Nice recovery! Another rare one is any tri-five sedan delivery. After the Nomad, I like the 150 Handyman the best.
@@keithparks8618 thanks for your comment and I glad you didn’t read me the riot act. Lol. My Dad has an amazing 56 Nomad. Thanks for your support. People call my wagon a Nomad all of the time.
Nice 55. I had a 58 Yeoman two door with a hatch back type of tailgate. I had to sell it because I needed the room for two kids and the wife. It was a very rare vehicle also and drew a lot of attention when I went to anywhere that there was a car show.
I think people just see a wagon and think that a fancy car word for wagon is NOMAD. Kinda funny. I had and El Camino years ago and a lot of people called in a Ranchero. too funny. Hey thanks for the comment. Have a Merry Christmas.
Saw a '55 Chev Bel Aire 4dr wagon in Helena that was all original including paint. It was way cool - I attend lots of car shows and I've never seen one. Thinking it's probably pretty rare as well. BTW, very nice car.
@@donnaleland3248 I have seen quite a few four door Belair and even a few 9 passenger also. They are still fairly rare. I did see a 2 door 56 Wagon in Redding CA but it was a 210. Think you have problems with the Nomad comments , try owning a '58 Delray sedan delivery . Between the " I never heard of a Delray before " , or the " it's a hearse , right ? " No, it' s not a hearse , those are about four feet lonnger , and have two more doors on them . Sometimes , you just want to leave the damn thing at home , and drive the Nova .
