- So I've always wanted RGB Tube lights but the prices really put me off, seeing the ones I wanted with a price tag of over $100 I was skeptical until I found out how to build them myself and for under $30. They are great for lighting up your studio and providing a cool look in videos.

If you spray the tube with water (or maybe it’s soapy water?) I believe it lets you slide the vinyl around then it dries in place.
Correct I did try this also but needs to be with soap I believe so it can slide

This looks like a nice build. I think I'll give it a try. Any suggestion on the brand of matte white vinyl wrap you used?
To be honest the white vinyl wrap I think are all the same , just I got a matte one because I think it does better with reflections etc. 👌🏼
I was looking thru your Amazon for the RGB lights. I was wondering is the 16.4ft not as bright as the 3.2 ft? Thank you
Can you make multiple led strips connect to one remote or the app? So you can have them doing one color or no?
Yeh each strip has on one end cables that can be daisy chained to another strip
So I actually have everything you listed except I can't seem to find the tube part. Been looking all over amazon and other sites, any advice on where I can buy the tubing?
Look for either acrylic tubes or the one I listed, try eBay

any thoughts on how to mount them using a base of some sort?
I was thinking the tube diameter is that similar to them cheap small tripods , you could superglue the female end on the bottom and then just screw it on a tripod.
If if you want to put them on a wall you can get tube wall mounts , you just need to right size 👌🏼

I thought the 144 led strip light need to use the big ac/dc power supply to run the whole led without having any led that is dim, how can you use just a 5v usb on a powerbank?
It can work either way , just depends which method you choose

Just any matte white vinyl will work
What type of power bank are you using to power the tubes ?
I’ve used a few different ones and they have all worked tbh

It was just purchased at my local hardware store so I don’t have a link for that, but just a matte white vinyl wrap should do
I have a huge question?! Do the rgb lights link together if I were to make 4 of them together?! Please let me know
Yeh so I mention the other cable briefly as the strip has 2 ends, one one of the strip you have the cable where it connects to the power etc but the other end which I just left inside the bottle cap actually allows for you to connect it to another strip , like a daisychain.

@Official_ErebusRanger the app links to the receiver, so if you use only one receiver then it will be be one big light

Assumably, he asks if you can buy separate receivers for each tube and control them all synchronously via the app without daisychaining the led strips physically.
