Just made something closely resembling this for me and younger daughter for our lunch. We have a local(-ish) Italian deli and sandwiches café which has been there for years but I've never gone in until today. Bought Parma ham, salami, and spicy salami, and some provolone, all thinly sliced. Had some 'hot' tomato chutney my elder daughter got me for Father's Day. Built it, grilled it, noshed it up! Lovely. Never made anything like this before, but thanks for the inspiration, Sam. ❤
I searched UA-cam SPECIFICALLY for oven-baked Italian sub or grinder, and your's was one of the few that was actually baked or toasted the sub. In my opinion, it is not doing the meats within the sandwich justice if the fattier meats are also not toasted. I think they are wasting their time and $$ if they don't toast the meats open faced before pulling it out to dress it up the rest of the way. So thanks for doing it right. I like spicy pickled peppers combined with some sweet, and then some mayo( a stripe down the middle) along with the oregano oil and vinegar treatment. Then I'd bake it once again, after put together and closed, just a few minutes. Thanks, again !!

that old guy in the back at the store looked pissed that he was behind him in line lol
happy to see I was not the only one to notice how he contaminated the jar of pepper spread
NASTY NASTY NASTY. Not only did he do it, but it wasn't caught during editing! Tells me that it's common in his kitchen! Just ruined my viewing and my appetite. And now...unsubbing!
Your cooking is out of control !
Love everything !
Prosciutto crudo has to remain crudo (raw)! People who cooked it don't know what they are doing..
this was prosciutto cotto though
@@Vivo-cp2rb Nope, the first layer after the hot spread was definitely prosciutto crudo.
So, yes, I agree. Proscuitto crudo is such a fine, delicate flavor.
Covering it with hot spread, sopressata, and any kind of cheese just completely overpowers exactly this wonderfully fine flavor.
Fat means Flavor shirt should start at XL and then go up... make a 4-5 XL, and I would love to wear it! Can you try making a Goulash soon?
Dam bruh obesity is no joke
You guys are awesome. I love watching your shows.
"There are things in life" that you should never do...like putting the spoon back into the jar after you put it in your mouth.
It´s nearly a death sinn
Love your video's, spoon from mouth to jar....not good, we all do it though but not on a instruction video. Great food!!!!!!
Or heating an Italian sub.
Hodads is San Diego. Best burger anywhere.
You obviously haven’t watched Sam the Cooking Guy. He’d put his dog’s ass on his chopping board without even trippin’.
That’s defo his Aston at the back in the intro 😂
best cooking channel . period
Hi, I'm italian, and I can confirm nothing about this sandwich is italian. Lol.
Triggered me to all hell when he tasted the stuff in the jar with the spoon and then put the spoon back in the jar
why? you skeeve yourself? or are you a dirtbag? either or its not a good look for you. idiot. its his jar of food.
@@MrKinghuman Christ. I think you need to take things a little less seriously.
@@maxhoughtonmusic you use "triggered", lets be honest, not using the word "them" makes you mad. go away.
@@MrKinghuman I used it ironically but sure, just assume I'm an SJW because you want me to be.
@@maxhoughtonmusic riiiiiight
I'm AMAZED they let your cameras in. The DO NOT mess around in there. Know your order, say it quickly, move aside. Serious sandwich business. :)
This sandwich you just built is called, "The Godfather" at our local pizza and sandwich shop. Very tasty but ours also has tomato, onion, roasted peppers and an olive oil and basil, oregano drizzled down the inside opposite the pepper spread.
