With or without the advertisement. you would never shell out 25,000 dollars to fly business class in the first place. By the way, most people who fly business class don't actually pay full price for it, instead they upgrade themselves through frequent flier mileage. Furthermore, the 25,000 price tag is a flight from US to Dubai. How often do you travel to Dubai? It's way cheaper for you to travel to other countries such as Europe, South America, etc. So I think it's misleading to use the 25,000 price tag to rile up the viewers here. For me to get to Europe all the way from Australia, going past Dubai, business class costs 12k and that's booking a few weeks literally 2 weeks before going, if you book 3+months prior which most people do, it's 7k! First class is 21k but no one besides celebrities really pays that, most people use there points as you said! It's stupid how people accuse the ad of being rude! Like heaps of my friends get business because they book it last minute (which you can do if there's spare seats!) which sometimes only costs you an extra $500-1k and sometimes even free.

It is very strange, to see people upset about actors and celebs cashing in on their fame doing ads for companies that haven't the best reputation, but not giving a crap about what their elected officials do. Presidents, senators and congressmen like to sell guns to both sides and then blame it on one or the other side.
Actors went to acting classes and earn their paycheck by pretending to be someone else. It's their job to fake it in order to make it. At least the actors can say it was a role, but how can elected officials justify their actions to the people? Also, anyone saying Aniston is ugly or smth similar is either into men or needs to see an ophthalmologist.

The Jennifer Aniston Emirates ad wasn't making fun of people who don't take first class, it was poking fun at all the shit airlines out there, mostly American based airlines. Emirates economy class itself is far better than a lot of other airlines out there, that's the main point of the ad. Emirates is a better choice, and out of experience I have to agree.

I don't understand why people are so angry about Jennifer Aniston's advertisement. If you can't afford it, clearly you're not the target audience. With or without the advertisement. you would never shell out 25,000 dollars to fly business class in the first place. By the way, most people who fly business class don't actually pay full price for it, instead they upgrade themselves through frequent flier mileage. Furthermore, the 25,000 price tag is a flight from US to Dubai. How often do you travel to Dubai? It's way cheaper for you to travel to other countries such as Europe, South America, etc. So I think it's misleading to use the 25,000 price tag to rile up the viewers here. I think Aniston is funny in the commercial and why hate on her when she was only following the script. It's not her fault that she made you guys feel inadequate. To be honest, I would rather pay more to fly with Emirates then take my chances with United Airlines.
Angelus9015 it's also not even that expensive! For me to get to Europe all the way from Australia, going past Dubai, business class costs 12k and that's booking a few weeks literally 2 weeks before going, if you book 3+months prior which most people do, it's 7k!
