I was reading Ezekiel 40 on wards, I did laughed when you said most people stay away from it and was going to do the same but when I realised that this was a command to Ezekiel by our Lord himself to write it down and share, then I realised whole 8 chapters of bible spoken by our lord how can I underestimate that fact and my sinful and very little mind cannot understanding but still I will read it because it's gods word and he will help me to understand it. as it talks about temple measurements, sacrificial services, prince and ownership of land and also the festival of new moon, feast of Passover. I was so perplexed that Jesus accomplished everything on the cross then why this temple worship and sacrifice. But you explained very well when we see Isaiah in parallel with Ezekiel. I felt so happy and joyful. I have still so much to lean please share any links you have regarding the same subject. Right now I can meet with Jesus in my room - but in the future I'll have to get on a plane and fly to Jerusalem to meet with him, especially if I want rain on my herb garden. How is that a better situation than now?

I would like to see a clear explanation of exactly WHO will live in the Millennial Kingdom. Will it be all believers? I see 4 distinct groups; The first is all believers who have died up to the rapture. The second is those taken in the rapture, the third is those who die during the Tribulation, and the fourth is those who survive the Tribulation.
I believe that when Jesus returns He and those who meet Him in the clouds will be in heaven and they will rule with Him for one thousand years not on earth but in heaven. The new Jerusalem will not be on earth but in heaven. So the people on earth that did not meet Jesus in the clouds are the people that survived the tribulation and will experience joy, happiness, and peace while satan is bound for the thousand years they will be let loose to deceive them one last time before the thousand-year ends. Is this the last chance to find out if these people that experience peace will be cast into hell or be in heaven where God dwells? This is what my finite mind knows and understands.

Very well done! Some of these things I’d never heard before but made sense. I’ll turn in again. As for the holy days- they are Godish- not Jewish. They were never set aside by any author - not even Paul- in the New Testament. Not a salvation issue of course but simply a revaluation of scripture and a healthy questioning of what was passed down to us from Protestantism and Catholicism.
We already have all the gifts of the holy Spirit living in our hearts and authority over powers and principalities, how much more rule and reign do we need that we don't already have
Regarding above, going through the 1000 year reign, how can people still sin if the devil isn't around to tempt them? Yes, people still have a sin nature, but how can they lie, cheat, steal and murder throughout this time if there isn't any tempter? The devil will be in the bottomless pit, thus, not around for the 1000 years.
At some point sin is not caused by tempting for some but rather by habit. A perpetual liar is not tempted to lie, it has become his “go-to”. An alcoholic wants to drink once the addiction sets in.

But will Jesus's 1,000 reign be a physical one or a spiritual one much like God reigns in our hearts today? The part of bringing back sacrifices and the need for it is confusing me. If God was physically sitting in a room on Earth I think everyone would be trembling as we would not need a sacrifice to remind us of God Almighty....
The Bible describes His 1000 year reign very well. Don't overthink it. Our Lord told us His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We are to prayerfully study His word and learn under His direction.
It will be an age of righteousness, not an age of grace. Notice in Ezekiel that temple sacrifice returns. All the nations will need to walk in righteousness and go up to Jerusalem once a year or they will receive no rain. They will be ruled over with an iron rod. The kingdom age will be what the world would have been like if the jews had remained faithful to the Lord from the time they entered the land of Canaan.
Could it be that sacrifices are still required because some people will still rebel against God and even more so when satan is released after the thousand years? In other words sin still does exist in the hearts of some (you mentioned no rain or even death for the rebellious against Christ).
In this passage, the Lord will punish on high. So from my finite mind and understanding, this passage tells me that during the thousand yeard reign Jesus is not on earth.

I have 4 bible versions spread out in front of me and there are no return of sacrifices even remotely mentioned in the verses he's listed .. none, no not none .. I repeat, NONE. Why does Dr. Barnett keep repeating this same mistake over and over. If you read my comment below and then read Isaiah 2:2-3 that Dr. Barnett has listed, you'll see for yourself. I'll say it again; Sacrifices while Jesus is ruling makes no sense. There will no sacrifices needed as He sacrificed HImself once and for all on the cross. If Dr. Barnett doesn't believe that to be true, then he's reading from a bible that's different from my KJV, NIV, ESV and AMP bibles and that would be a different situation altogether. I was told by a Jewish man that if an animal has been properly killed and butchered and blessed by a Rabbi, then the person consuming the meat gives thanks to God it’s considered a sacrifice/ daily sacrifice? If this is true could that verse be telling us that we will still eat meat during the millennium?

I hope I understand you, but I believe what you are asking is a controversial topic having to do with who is actually a Christian and who is not. Why are they left behind. The believers that are lukewarm and not fully living for Jesus wont go up. They are still believers but will have make a final choice for christ. It will be a choice that cost them their lives.

In this period God's elect have a fore taste of the Kingdom of God within them , their inheritance. Jesus Christ did day to unbelieving Jewish elders " the kingdom of God is within you" , speaking of Gods elect in Christ Jesus. Revelations vidily describes the heavenly city,with its 12 Pilar's I think,could be wrong. Also the jeweled floors etc. It's not literally a building city but people. The 12 are representative of the apostles and or tribes of Israel and the jewels are the people redeemed by Christ Jesus 😊.

Hi Dr. Barnett, at 10:24 you say, "Sacrifices are offered again [in the Millennial Kingdom]" I looked at the scripture you cite as basis for this teaching (Isaiah 2:2-3) and it says nothing about sacrifices that I can interpret. But the whole point of animal sacrifices was to be an imperfect shadow of the perfect sacrifice that was to come in our Lord Jesus Christ. With Christ literally dwelling among us as our perfect God and King in the Millennial Kingdom, why would He reinstate the imperfect old shadow of Himself that has been superseded? Christ's sacrifice was ONCE and for ALL, and He did away with the animal sacrifice FOREVER. Christ came to FULFILL the law, as it COULD NOT be fulfilled by animal sacrifices. Hebrews 10 could not be any clearer on this. Here is Hebrews 10:5-12 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight. Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll: I have come to do Your will, O God.’ In the passage above He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor did You delight in them” (although they are offered according to the law). Then He adds, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.

I don't know what those sacrifices will be about yet but I find it hard to accept this man's teaching of it looking back to the cross when Jesus himself with his scarred hands, feet and side will be in the temple with them! I think that theory of his needs more work. Pray in the Holy Spirit a lot my brother and it will be easier to hear the Holy Spirits teachings. Also I think I see a pre trib rapture on his board and there is no scripture that directly supports that belief. The error most pre tribbers make is assuming the tribulation is the wrath of God, it isn't. It is at the sixth seal that we first see a mention of the wrath of the Lamb. The sun and moon have gone dark as described in Matt 24 and Acts 2 :20 and the sun and moon go dark after the tribulation and before the day of the Lord. I could say so much more but please study 1 Thess 4 and 5 carefully and the opening of the seals and Matt 24 where Jesus gives the complete sequence! The angels gathering the elect is the rapture, its after the tribulation and before the wrath of God is poured out. This is why there is silence in heaven for half an hour before the seventh seal is opened. It is an awesome and fearful moment, most solemn. Please note too that there is time in heaven! God bless.

KJV. He has misspoken in book, chapter and verse, unless he's assuming that the words "the Lords house" ( temple) implies that animial sacrifices will resume there as in the past. The Bible says the crucifixion of Jesus was a once and only final sacrifice ever needed for all of mankind. Why would Jews be offering sacrifices in the milliennium while Jesus is ruling from Jerusalem in their midst?. Although Dr. Barnett is well knowledged in Bible theology, maybe he could explain how he sees animial sacrifices in these verses. There must be something hidden here that I don't see.

I have prayed on this and I believe that it will be a form of worship and in remembrance of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. So Jesus will not be re scrificed but will be exalted and worshiped and we will remember what he gave for us. I think similar to the bread and wine, in substitute of Jesus's flesh and blood. We don't actually repeat the crucifixion but in remembrance of his love for us. Pray for you my friend. God bless

I was reading Ezekiel 40 on wards, I did laughed when you said most people stay away from it and was going to do the same but when I realised that this was a command to Ezekiel by our Lord himself to write it down and share, then I realised whole 8 chapters of bible spoken by our lord how can I underestimate that fact and my sinful and very little mind cannot understanding but still I will read it because it's gods word and he will help me to understand it. as it talks about temple measurements, sacrificial services, prince and ownership of land and also the festival of new moon, feast of Passover. I was so perplexed that Jesus accomplished everything on the cross then why this temple worship and sacrifice. But you explained very well when we see Isaiah in parallel with Ezekiel. I would like to see a clear explanation of exactly WHO will live in the Millennial Kingdom. Will it be all believers? I see 4 distinct groups; The first is all believers who have died up to the rapture. The second is those taken in the rapture, the third is those who die during the Tribulation, and the fourth is those who survive the Tribulation.
In Noah's time earthquakes tore the world apart. In the tribulation even bigger quakes will happen. I wonder if the continents will go back together.
I believe that when Jesus returns He and those who meet Him in the clouds will be in heaven and they will rule with Him for one thousand years not on earth but in heaven. The new Jerusalem will not be on earth but in heaven. So the people on earth that did not meet Jesus in the clouds are the people that survived the tribulation and will experience joy, happiness, and peace while satan is bound for the thousand years they will be let loose to deceive them one last time before the thousand-year ends. Is this the last chance to find out if these people that experience peace will be cast into hell or be in heaven where God dwells? This is what my finite mind knows and understands.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

As for the holy days- they are Godish- not Jewish. They were never set aside by any author - not even Paul- in the New Testament. Not a salvation issue of course but simply a revaluation of scripture and a healthy questioning of what was passed down to us from Protestantism and Catholicism.

Yes, people still have a sin nature, but how can they lie, cheat, steal and murder throughout this time if there isn't any tempter? But will Jesus's 1,000 reign be a physical one or a spiritual one much like God reigns in our hearts today? The part of bringing back sacrifices and the need for it is confusing me. If God was physically sitting in a room on Earth I think everyone would be trembling as we would not need a sacrifice to remind us of God Almighty....
The Bible describes His 1000 year reign very well. Don't overthink it. Our Lord told us His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We are to prayerfully study His word and learn under His direction.

It will be an age of righteousness, not an age of grace. Notice in Ezekiel that temple sacrifice returns. All the nations will need to walk in righteousness and go up to Jerusalem once a year or they will receive no rain. They will be ruled over with an iron rod. The kingdom age will be what the world would have been like if the jews had remained faithful to the Lord from the time they entered the land of Canaan.
Satan has no authority over you, reign with Christ while you are alive
Could it be that sacrifices are still required because some people will still rebel against God and even more so when satan is released after the thousand years? In other words sin still does exist in the hearts of some (you mentioned no rain or even death for the rebellious against Christ).
In this passage, the Lord will punish on high. So from my finite mind and understanding, this passage tells me that during the thousand yeard reign Jesus is not on earth.
P.S. THEN JESUS, AFTER THE 1000 YEARS IN HEAVEN, WILL RULE THIS EARTH FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY.

I have 4 bible versions spread out in front of me and there are no return of sacrifices even remotely mentioned in the verses he's listed .. none, no not none .. I repeat, NONE. Why does Dr. Barnett keep repeating this same mistake over and over. If you read my comment below and then read Isaiah 2:2-3 that Dr. Barnett has listed, you'll see for yourself. I'll say it again; Sacrifices while Jesus is ruling makes no sense. There will no sacrifices needed as He sacrificed HImself once and for all on the cross. If Dr. Barnett doesn't believe that to be true, then he's reading from a bible that's different from my KJV, NIV, ESV and AMP bibles and that would be a different situation altogether. I was told by a Jewish man that if an animal has been properly killed and butchered and blessed by a Rabbi, then the person consuming the meat gives thanks to God it’s considered a sacrifice/ daily sacrifice? If this is true could that verse be telling us that we will still eat meat during the millennium?

We all struggle with sin, but I think you are asking “why aren’t ALL people who identify themselves as Christians taken in the rapture. This is a BIG and often controversial subject, but if you start at Dr Barnett’s study on discover the book dot org EBP-01 how to be really sure you are saved, you will find your answers, keep going! At that source, everything is organized by topic. It’s a feast!

The thousand years are the gospel age from Jesus Christ first to his second advent.

Hi Dr. Barnett, at 10:24 you say, "Sacrifices are offered again [in the Millennial Kingdom]" I looked at the scripture you cite as basis for this teaching (Isaiah 2:2-3) and it says nothing about sacrifices that I can interpret.
But the whole point of animal sacrifices was to be an imperfect shadow of the perfect sacrifice that was to come in our Lord Jesus Christ. With Christ literally dwelling among us as our perfect God and King in the Millennial Kingdom, why would He reinstate the imperfect old shadow of Himself that has been superseded? Christ's sacrifice was ONCE and for ALL, and He did away with the animal sacrifice FOREVER. Christ came to FULFILL the law, as it COULD NOT be fulfilled by animal sacrifices. Hebrews 10 could not be any clearer on this.
Here is Hebrews 10:5-12
Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said:
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me.
In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight.
Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll: I have come to do Your will, O God.’
In the passage above He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor did You delight in them” (although they are offered according to the law). And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.

@@solideogloria5973 that's why Jesus died. I believe this is false teaching. It's nothing beautiful about animal sacrifice. that's one of the reason for it. to show how awful sin is. I believe he is a false teacher.
I don't know what those sacrifices will be about yet but I find it hard to accept this man's teaching of it looking back to the cross when Jesus himself with his scarred hands, feet and side will be in the temple with them! I think that theory of his needs more work. Pray in the Holy Spirit a lot my brother and it will be easier to hear the Holy Spirits teachings. Also I think I see a pre trib rapture on his board and there is no scripture that directly supports that belief. The error most pre tribbers make is assuming the tribulation is the wrath of God, it isn't. It is at the sixth seal that we first see a mention of the wrath of the Lamb. The sun and moon have gone dark as described in Matt 24 and Acts 2 :20 and the sun and moon go dark after the tribulation and before the day of the Lord. I could say so much more but please study 1 Thess 4 and 5 carefully and the opening of the seals and Matt 24 where Jesus gives the complete sequence! The angels gathering the elect is the rapture, its after the tribulation and before the wrath of God is poured out. This is why there is silence in heaven for half an hour before the seventh seal is opened. It is an awesome and fearful moment, most solemn. Please note too that there is time in heaven! God bless.

He has misspoken in book, chapter and verse, unless he's assuming that the words "the Lords house" ( temple) implies that animial sacrifices will resume there as in the past. The Bible says the crucifixion of Jesus was a once and only final sacrifice ever needed for all of mankind. Why would Jews be offering sacrifices in the milliennium while Jesus is ruling from Jerusalem in their midst?. Although Dr. Barnett is well knowledged in Bible theology, maybe he could explain how he sees animial sacrifices in these verses. There must be something hidden here that I don't see.

I have prayed on this and I believe that it will be a form of worship and in remembrance of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. So Jesus will not be re scrificed but will be exalted and worshiped and we will remember what he gave for us. I think similar to the bread and wine, in substitute of Jesus's flesh and blood. We don't actually repeat the crucifixion but in remembrance of his love for us. Pray for you my friend. God bless

Carefully study the book of NEHEMIAH please. No more sacrifice after which the blood of jesus has been shed as the perfect lamb of God. Wouldn't millennial temple sacrifices be " contemptuous" to Christ, the already sacrificed and risen "Lamb of God?" Who would be doing this on Earth at this time? Jews? Born-again believers? Those born during the 1000 years? Then Christ kills those who don't want to go to the temple???? What happens to them next; what kind of next could they have? Please HMU.
