I just did ours and I swear others make it seem so difficult. The rear brakes are so easy once you take the wheel off which is the hardest part. No tool needed, just the correct allen key sizes.
Just a suggestion. For tutorial style videos like this, maybe list the items you will need right at the beginning and also state around how long the job should take
Yes correct: if you see the rest of the Video Sam the oil cap was installed. I just finished doing and oil change and needed to filled it back up prior to videoo
I just changes my plugs in my 2020 V60 and I did something that I think is helpful. I blew air down around the plug as you did but after removal, it seemed like there was ALOT of dirt right at the mating surface where the plug meets the head. I used my shop vac and I taped a metal drinking straw to the end of the vac and carefully reached down into the hole and was able to completely remove the dirt off the mating surface. Maybe excessive or OCD but I felt much better about torquing down the new plugs on clean surface. My 2 cents. Great video BTW.
@@scottchrismon4492 yes that's a great idea I do this all the time. Just assumed no one has access to shop air. You dnt want any of that fine dirt to go into cylinder and score up the cylinder walls 🔧
Hello, what is the depth of your 14mm socket to remove the spark plugs ? Mine is 65mm external length but impossible to reach the hexagon of the spark plug. Thank you

are you a volvo tech or this just hobbyist stuff? Also with the oil cap, you're never concerned about dirt in the engine cover getting into that oil fil cap?
Hello, for the locking extension that you use to take out the Spark Plugs, did you use a 6 pointer or a 12? I’ve been trying to find a magnetic 🧲 6 point spark plug socket but most of them on Amazon and in stores are all 12 pointers. Would I be able to use a 12 pointer? Thanks 🙏🏽
I just entered my car information and ordered a 14mm deep socket magnetic with cap grabber as well and built in extension that Amazon suggested and confirmed fit my car. At my door in 17 hrs. 👌🏻
Love your Volvo video, can’t wait for you to do a rear brake rotor replacement video for a XC40
Thank you very much Oscar I’ll be making a video just for you my friend soon

Hey wanted to see if you can help me with a logo I know we spoke briefly on it thanks
THis is the best instructional video I/ve ever watched! THank you
Thank you appreciate it
You should leave the oil cap on while your working around the engine cover. You could drop that socket or bolts in the open hole

Man I been looking for some videos on this car thank you bro
Good video!
Well done👍

You just saved me money the delarship wanted 900.00 for a cabin air filter and spark plug change. I told them go to hell on a SR-71.😅😅😅
Thank you for posting this. I’ve been looking forever
Thanks. I used magnet to pull the plug out after loosening it. I don't have a 14mm socket that will hold on to the plug.
Great video! Thanks for the clear instruction..

thanks for the video, do you recommend dielectric grease for the coils?
You can but on this vehicle I won't recommend it. It seals pretty good and won't have moisture issues
no need to disconnect the battery? Thanks for the great tutorial!
Do you happen to have or know of a video showing how to replace fuel injectors or oxygen sensors? Thanks!

The turttle sign in dashboard can be related to the spark plugs ?
Yes possible need to check fault codes and see if it has misfire codes
