    Nice review of the Dodge Durango, we live in Germany and it is very difficult to find a good used Dodge as a family car.
    With best regards....

      Thank you! I didn't know you could find any Dodge in Germany. Do they sell them new or do people import them?

      @@FullThrottleCars hello, the problem ist, that Dodge did not sell the Durango on the german market. You can only buy one from special US Car dealer as a new one costs much more than in the states because the tax and the custum makes it very expensive. A used car is also very difficult to find, dealers from eastern Europe buy dammaged cars from US and put them together in Bad ways, after that you can buy a total loss vehicle with 6 years old with a price between 25.000 and 35.000€ !!!
      That is very crazy.....
      I think it is not worth to spent that Lot of money for a dammaged car.
      Greetings

      @@caroundholger504 Thanks for the response. That is interesting. That is a pretty high price.

      @@FullThrottleCars what is your opinion, do you think a Durango hemi citadel with 200.000 km from 2013 in good condition ist it worth to pay 23.000 Euro ?? Or should we look for the 2 nd generation with the V8 to get a better deal?
      Greetings

      @@caroundholger504 I'm really not sure. For that kind of mileage here it would probably sell for $10,000-$15,000 USD. I believe ours is near 175,000 miles now and we haven't had any major issues in terms of reliability. I think the biggest was a $1,000 sensor replacement for the transmission. I also don't know what parts availability looks like over there. I personally like the 3rd generation (2011-present) better than the previous generation. I think it is a better looking and performing car. I also think it is nicer on the interior. In general for any American car over 100,000 miles you will just have to be aware of potential problems and repairs that could come up.

    Just bought one of these but I’m confused on what “low” means where the AWD mode is. Can you explain.

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  2 роки тому +1

      Low on the awd selector means low range. It would be used when you need traction. Sand, snow, hills, etc.

    Strange. My 2013 has 2 captains chairs and a console like the front. Also I don't think I have the video and left right ports

    Whats the reliability with these specific models of Durango?

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  2 роки тому +1

      I can only speak for ours, but it has been alright reliability-wise. There have been a few expensive repairs, but so far it hasn’t had any major problems. From what I have seen I don’t think they are rated very high for reliability.

      @@rell4474 The main issue we had was a sensor that broke. I believe that was about $1,000 to fix. I do not remember which though. It was something to do with the transmission though I believe.

      @@FullThrottleCars thanks for your reply! Would you recommend this vehicle? Yeah, some of those sensors are spendy, I just replaced one in my equinox, it was just a tire sensor and it would of been fine if I didn't but I'd rather just have everything on the up.and up

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  2 роки тому

      @@rell4474 I like it, especially the hemi. I have grown up with Dodge vehicles so I may be biased. It would probably be just as reliable as any other American SUV from the same time. For me to own a car I would have to enjoy driving it and with a hemi I think its enjoyable to drive. This is kind of a long response, but long story short if I was looking for a large SUV in this range I would get a Durango with a hemi.

      What about it? It has two seats. It’s about as big as you might expect. Children and smaller adults can sit there comfortably.
