That shit was inspiring and continued to watch all their matches with hype. Seeing them win Worlds against Faker has to be the best Underdog VS Goliath story. What an amazing Worlds.

that moment at 3:00 is quite literally perfect. the swiftness of zeka in this fight is so beautiful and the casting just makes it 10x better. DID i mention this is game 5? after coming back from down 2-0 because of the once in a lifetime inhib respawn. might be my favorite league moment ever.
watching this reminded me of a moment from the EVO fighting game championship: after Tokido won the SFV tournament at EVO 2017 an interviewer asked him if he had anything to say about his win. his only response was "fighting games... are something so great". and that's all he needed to say. the passion, the work and determination, the drive to push your body to the absolute limit of what your dexterity can do, are what make fighting games something so great, what makes esports worth watching. and just like that moment, watching DRX win gives me this overwhelming emotion and sense of pride to share a community with people who care enough to cry their eyes out because deft won after years and years of work. I don't think any storyline at worlds will ever top this one. congrats, DRX. you earned it.

Because of hardening in quarterfinals and semifinals, they managed to narrowly beat T1 3-2 and be champion
Game 2 vs EDG broke my heart, Pyosik lost their barons, drakes again and again made me on my knee and want to scream WHY so loud. But even after every bad things that happened, DRX still win and finally his perfect last dance has completed. The greatest miracle run in the history of Esports
I agree, in the games I follow (league, csgo, Valorant) nothing really comes close to this. There were underdog stories, yes, but not from ABSOLUTE zero. Because technically, this run started at the bottom of the regional qualifier bracket
