I love how different they formated this worlds memories & moments videos. There was so much more storyline and narrative and so they catered the video to show that. Seeing Deft cry and his birthday cake into seeing all the buildup to what an amazing finals it was. Amazing video
Main reason for that is that there was so much more storyline and narrative this year than previous ones. This was by far the best worlds we've ever had, due to some of the best BO5's of all time, but also partly due to the amazing story lines.

The best Worlds ever. Stories after stories and the best stories of all actually take it home! I've never been this emotional in my last few years of watching Worlds. They can easily make a documentary of Deft's whole career leading to his first Summoner's Cup!

As 6th in LCK, they almost never made it to regional Qualifiers because of KDF (they are tied in spring + summer points) but KDF placed 7th. In Regional Qualifiers, they were against KT (who they never won against in summer) but in quarters they won with a 3-2 match score. The game ended with a trade for a dragon to nexus lol. Just a day after, they had to beat LSB who looked way stronger than them. LSB were poised to win. But again, they won with a 3-2 match score. Its worlds, they are starting from play-ins. In quarterfinals, no one expected them to be EDG. Some even said that EDG had the easiest team. But against all odds, they won by reverse sweeping EDG. In semis, GenG is there, the LCK Summer Champions. They never took a game off them in 2022. They were 0-8 against GenG. But after game 1, they broke the curse by beating GenG 3 times in a row and punching their ticket to finals. Finals. They were against T1 who just had a dominating win against LPL's first seed, JDG. A lot of people had issues with the world's anthem then year, but I think it perfectly encapsulates what DRX went through and did to obtain this championship. How many times could they have thrown in the towel and said it was over but came back? Their mental fortitude was above and beyond anything we have seen in the history of League of Legends. And then I am reminded of the line 'Why worship legends when you know that you can join them.' And I think that perfectly reflects what Deft has gone through. He was always compared and contrasted to his fellow school mate, the worshipped legend, the unkillable demon king, Faker, and yet on this day their was no bowing to royalty by Deft he stood tall and cast down the demon and inherited his thrown; now a legend by his own accord.

I got to see this finals live in a movie theater, it was an amazing night. I'll never forget the finals, best esports I've ever seen. Brought a tear to my eye remembering seeing the DRX boys running down mid to end the game.
This will always be my favourite year of Worlds. DRX are such a beautiful team. I hope to god they stay together for next year. No other team will ever have the run they managed to pull off this year. Truly incredible!!
Deft's story cannot be made into a movie. Because if it was, people would be saying it's too contrived and too perfect to be true. His "rivalry" with Faker who he went to the SAME FREAKING HIGH SCHOOL with, all the former teammates he had to face on his 2022 run, Meiko, Chovy, but especially HIS BOY KERIA WHO NOW PLAYS WITH FAKER. It's just so perfect.
As much as how happy I am for Deft getting his first trophy, really sad for T1 as they performed their hearts out. They've been consistently at the top all through-out the year and mostly placed second in knockouts. It's a tough mental state to carry of being ridden with having to amp up your performance from failing, and only almost getting the seeds of your hardwork. This really is the best worlds we had so far in my 9 years of watching lol esports. Congrats to DRX!
I'm a T1 fan since 2013 and also for Deft since EDG 2015. I cried watching Keria cry and I'm also happy for DRX. This worlds is The best for me. Heartbreaking and also Heartwarming. Congratulations DRX
Just when I thought last year's storyline couldn't be beat, 2022 gives us the most novella-esque sequence I've ever seen in competitive gaming. Our fandom probably sounds like a broken record at this point. Every year we say it's the best Worlds ever, every year we gush about how great everything is. That's because it's all true, it just seems like lol's competitive scene just gets more and more vibrant as the years go on.
Its such a legendary story of DRX winning worlds. They were 6th in lck and got worlds ticket as 4th seed. Beat depending worlds champion, EDG, and GenG who were champinlon in their region and finally T1, the most iconic team in lol history. DRX always lose game against T1 so worlds final was their first time beating T1. Just epic
I'm hoping Gbay99 makes a documentary on this run. He does great work. I highly recommend "The Greatest Upset in League of Legends History". It's the story of the Taipei Assassin's worlds run.
This Worlds was something else. Even teams that fell on the way should also be very proud of themselves. Fantastic performances. But DRX, that was sensacional! GG WP kings. Also, to all production of Worlds 2022, congratulations. Well done, and see you next year!
I've watched this more than 30 times I think and I always manage to shed a couple of tears every time. It's so inspirational and makes me not wanna give up on what I want to do.

Is really surreal because DRX's run seemed so impossible at first but after seeing how they played from play ins to finals, that team was just stacked. So massively underestimated.
The final minutes of the video gave me literal chills. What an awesome combination of the background music, of the emotional bursts, of the caster's voice... Everything is in perfect harmony.

Don't forget the analyst and fan predictions guys. DRX at playins were given a 50% chance to escape, in groups 60% said they would not get out. In quarters 70% said they would not get out. In Semis 80% said they would not get out. and finally at the Finals 90% said they would not win it all. Banger video above tho!! Great portrayal :))))
Simply awesome. Tbh at the beginning I wasn't a fan of the title music Star walkin this year, but what I witnessed, all the plays and the stories keeps me endlessly listening to it. Marvelouus.

t1 vs drx game 1 - showed how much of a monster team t1 was against drx game 2 - showed that even though they were ahead, they couldn't afford to underestimate them as t1 almost got it back game 3 - showed that it's going to take more than drx's best to take down the very best game 4 - showed that drx had what it took to overcome their limits game 5 - showed drx as champions of the game legit an anime storyline with a huge build up starting game 1.

Definitely best worlds so far
Memorable moments already happened from play in stage. The final is the climax this time.
Seeing it all wrapped up like this just shows how insane DRX's run was. It's literally an anime level story.
6:10 One of the most impressive upsets.
Just epic
진짜 Star walkin은 DRX와 데프트의 헌정곡이었다 ㄷㄷ
Hands down the best worlds final ever. I'm so happy for DRX. Looking forward to many more epic worlds final in the future
I'LL NEVER forget this finals coz its the best and the most wonderful lol matches ive ever watched
Deft wins Worlds and Lionel Messi wins World Cup were the two best thing that ever happened in 2022.
The resiliency shown by DRX. They were incredible. Like art. It was beautiful and outrageous
DRX need to make a documentary of this legendary run 🔥🔥
I'm in!
Drx 유튜브 채널에 다큐 있어요
You can watch all of stories of DRX in 2022 season with 'DRX Adventure'
I'm hoping Gbay99 makes a documentary on this run. He does great work. I highly recommend "The Greatest Upset in League of Legends History". It's the story of the Taipei Assassin's worlds run.
the best final and the best worlds ever, my god, this is incredible
와 편집이.. 이거 완전 울음벨이네.. DRX 우승 축하해!!
BEST WORLDS SO FAR
This Worlds was something else.
Even teams that fell on the way should also be very proud of themselves. Fantastic performances.
But DRX, that was sensacional! GG WP kings.
Also, to all production of Worlds 2022, congratulations. Well done, and see you next year!
Banger from quarters to finals. Best worlds so far. One for the history books.
I've watched this more than 30 times I think and I always manage to shed a couple of tears every time. It's so inspirational and makes me not wanna give up on what I want to do.
This world was so full of crazy moments. My favorites in no particular order:
- Loud hype - group stage
- Jojo banter - group stage
- Upset penta and Rhuckz substitute - group stage
- Crazy first week for Europe versus asia with 3/0 Rogue and Fanatic beating T1 - group stage
- GAM beating TES and khartus bug - group stage
- Canyon gapping Peanut so hard - quarters
- DRX inhib respawn + reverse sweep + Pyosic hype - quarters
- Faker Ryze escape EQEQEEQEQE Ryze mains EQEQEQEQ rejoyce - semis
- Zeka kinda lowkey gapping Chovy frfr no cap - semis
- CRAZY 5 game finals with lots of swings, literal rollercoaster - finals
This is the most beautiful thing I have watched in a while.
I forgot how emotional 2022 worlds was. The stories, the casters, the teams. It's by far been the best worlds
Deft is the Goat ADC
Well deserved Championship King 👑
He finally Cemented himself as the Goat *Alpaca* ADC.

Fue uno de los mejores mundiales de lol en años, espero que el próximo año sea igual de emocionante y mucho más.
The best tournament run in the history of LoL esports.
Simply put, this will never be topped.
@17:26 « winning worlds made me realize it’s not about me playing the best… it’s about my teammates and my team being the best » -Deft, world champion 2022
This resonates with « my 3rd worlds title was for myself; the 4th one is for my team » - Faker, 2023
11:20 I never thought I'd see a birthday celebration on stage at an eSports event. That's awesome. Y'all have a great community here.
NOW THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A WORLDS MOMENT AND MEMORIES. MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT FROM LAST YEAR'S!!!!
Who ever thought league of legends could be such a beautiful game
Самый эмоциональный финал из всех!! Очень рад за дефта,ставил на них и против ГГ и против Т1 чисто на интузиазме и топил как мог. Может кому то больно но эмоции зашкаливали,дефт заслужил наконец то свой титул
gotta say every year this highlight keeps its quality if not improving, its always hype, emotional and full of story so good
Loved this Worlds 2022 a lot tyvm for making this video!!!!
"Don't ever say it's over if I'm breathing"
Now we truly understand the meaning of the song🫡
16:48 this scene is really emotional
Don't forget the analyst and fan predictions guys. DRX at playins were given a 50% chance to escape, in groups 60% said they would not get out. In quarters 70% said they would not get out. In Semis 80% said they would not get out. and finally at the Finals 90% said they would not win it all.
Banger video above tho!! Great portrayal :))))
今年のworldsはまじで熱かった。最後の最後までどっちが勝つか分からなかったしDEFT優勝したのは本当にうれしい。T1もすごくてにわかには全くわからない心理戦とか駆け引きがあったと思う。本当にすごかった。GG
Being live for the final it was such an amazing atmosphere and the games were the best ever
I have goosebumps...Best worlds ever.
Simply awesome. Tbh at the beginning I wasn't a fan of the title music Star walkin this year, but what I witnessed, all the plays and the stories keeps me endlessly listening to it. Marvelouus.
16:50 gave me absolute chills 😭😭
Best worlds in history
Legendary fr
Best worlds, best team DRX was legend💙
It was unbelievable to witness this moment as a fan of DRX...
This is my first world final. Watching Deft and Faker for the first time, DRX and T1 compete. Everything is amazing. It's past the world final but I can't stop watching videos about it
the shot at 16:55 gives me chills
I felt the emotions all over again. Best WORLDS ever
love how DRX was screaming at the top of their lungs and there’s Deft’s lowkey soft “Naisu..!…” That was his reaction winning Worlds 😂
He is just chilling alpaca, always been like this. It is may be good for adc be calm like this c:
“The most important thing is the unbreakable heart.”
DRX has written its name in the history of LoL. Astonishing, breathtaking series
I've watched this maybe 10 times and still so hype
Playing since Season 2 and these Finals were UNBELIEVABLE, like nothing I've ever seen. Made me remember why I Love this game.
Great stuff!!
t1 vs drx
game 1 - showed how much of a monster team t1 was against drx
game 2 - showed that even though they were ahead, they couldn't afford to underestimate them as t1 almost got it back
game 3 - showed that it's going to take more than drx's best to take down the very best
game 4 - showed that drx had what it took to overcome their limits
game 5 - showed drx as champions of the game
legit an anime storyline with a huge build up starting game 1.
Any team would tilt with so many steals , in so many games. Still they keep fighting. Big respect, DRX
