They integrated the majority of the Sword master learning curve into its base moveset so you don't need to go into swordmaster to get any of the skills like aerial rave prop shredder and so on. Dante's combo 1 from dmc3 has been a part of his brrady and butter combos for a long time. If anything dmc3 was the only game to include the crazy combos I'd have loved for those to come back in dmc5 in a way.
Dante has so much cool shit in this game that he is actually quite difficult to fully control. It's like the has a mind of his own even during gameplay. Hell, sometimes you do completely unexpected combos because you forget what button does what and that's part of what makes this character so much fun to play.

I’m convinced that Calvarie is inspired by the motorcycle scene in DMC 3, but they just didn’t have the technology at the time to actually implement it.
I've noticed something on Dante's blow mode. He has 2 stances the first one is where he covers his face with his left hand and has his right hand by his stomach. His second stances is where he covers his face with both hands and bobs his head left to right(on some Mike Tyson shit). I also noticed that Dante fights southpaw because he has his right foot out and jabs with his right.
Balrog for me personally is very versatile weapon,you can chain a lot of combos,both with punch and kick mode,the best gauntlets and grieves Dante has got to date.
DT Revolver (i guess is faster and creates some ice spikes with impact), DT Hot Stuff (makes a wider red flame) and DT Percussion (summoned lightnings spreads) are missing. Still the best video on DMC5 dante moveset, obligatory like!

I've been trying to some of these moves but don't know their inputs :( couldn't find them because of the names and just the fact that I was kind of overwhelmed by the amount of moves he has
his bloody palace provocation gives him a boost of 20% damage if his devil trigger is full if he only he has half full gauge the damage is normal and if he has nothing in the gauge the damage is -20%

this game and all the various movesets just shows why this dante and the whole crew are so much better then the last dmc game, the amount of creativity that you can have with all of dantes weapons and malee attacks plus the balrog just adds another dimension to his character but the last game was so bland even in this department.
I knew about quick drive but never how to do it, but I never knew about ground trick which will help with my movement so much more now that I know I can dash to the other side of cavelier's arena

It would've been great if you added slow motion to some of the moves so we see the detail of the movements. Also would've been nice to have a 360 degree viewing of the moves.
Get your sin DT full, get to SSS then activate sin DT. You get Sin Devil form for 5 secs without using the Sin DT gauge. Just make sure to turn it off before the 5 secs is up. You can keep doing over and over as long as your at SSS and you don't go over 5 secs.

To be fair, it is the Rebellion fused with Sparda.
So many moves he may be the hardest character to master, but he's definitely the most fun character to play as.
Quality usually defeats quantity or vice versa. Dante has both. No shortage at all.

You’re partially correct. Cavilere is based on designs for a motorcycle weapon for DMC2, but they didn’t have the tech to make it at the time

Well, you can still use it, it's available and you can switch on the go between rebellion, sparda and dsd.
The Sparda Sword is really underrated. I thought sparda sword will unleash its full potential in dmc 5 just like what happened in dmc1.
Well...it's the same Sparda as DMC1, after all, Sparda always had the same combos as the other swords.

Okay seriously how do you charge Dantec's dragon uppercut moves?
It would've been great if you added slow motion to some of the moves so we see the detail of the movements. Also would've been nice to have a 360 degree viewing of the moves.

Get your sin DT full, get to SSS then activate sin DT. You get Sin Devil form for 5 secs without using the Sin DT gauge. Just make sure to turn it off before the 5 secs is up. You can keep doing over and over as long as your at SSS and you don't go over 5 secs.
