Rehearsal For Life.
Creating a warm space that empowers young people to feel safe, have a sense of belonging, empowered to have a voice through the performing arts.
Creating a script can be challenging for most until your asked to write a song and have it performed in a room of your peers with a version of "Summer Loving" changed to "Govan Lovin" for their own advert about Govan being loving "Govan Lovin".
Growing in confidence each week enabled the group to sit around their table with other project partners listening to them about how it feels to grow up in their local area.
Project partners were invited to the young peoples table that was used during our Rehearsal for Life in the "Young Teams" safe space. The space was used during each session for creativity, a safe friendly table can make a difference "Their Table" and services came to the safe space and listened to their voices.
