  • A live panel discussion with three creative storytelling superheroes in the arts, communications, and geospatial media about early inspirations and experiences that led to their careers. The panel also welcomes an open discussion of how we can work together to understand the opportunities and responsibilities of using AI in storytelling.
    David Howard is a Professor and former Chair of the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television in the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and the founding director of its Graduate Screenwriting Program.
    Gabriel Kahn is a Professor at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism, jointly runs their Media, Economics, and Entrepreneurship program, and serves on the research council of the Annenberg Innovation Lab.
    Cooper Thomas is the Cartography Content Strategist for the international
    Esri StoryMaps team of product engineers, developers, designers, and
    storytellers who are passionate about enabling our global storytelling
    community.
