Sir.. When inserting the spider shaft after replacement of bearings, is it okay if i do not apply grease between the bearings and the shaft?

Because I thought that high heat and wear could occur due to rotational friction between the shaft and bearing during high-speed rotation.

I have haier model HW60-10829NZP , noise coming and drum feels little loose. Service techinician told me to change the entire drum around 7500.
But the drum not visibily broken i think the spider has some issue. What to do. What will the repair cost.
