Thank you for the instructions. Just installed it on my GT3. It's way better than without it. Now the car is more complete. Like it supposed to be. However, i think cargraphic did even more difference on my 718 spyder. Took me 3 hours and you can do it without removing rear diffuser. You can place the device next to ecu controller (right side). Just ensure cables are wisely placed and zipped. Also it's better to use manual tools. And be careful when removing upper cover, even the plastic part can easily scratch wing holder if you touch it. .
Thanks for the great content about your gt3 and the mods you installed! After seeing you struggle a bit with the diffuser I tried installing the valve controller without removing the diffusor. You can reach the valves quite easily from the sides if you lay down next to the car. You can get the install done in a few minutes that way. Maybe useful info for future gt3 owners that want to install this mod. Next up I’ll try the rs shift paddles aswell, thanks again 👍🏻
Yeah. That makes sense. Also, it almost doesn’t make sense to mount the unit at the top, they could very easily mount it down below by the exhaust somewhere and essentially make the whole install less than 10 minutes. The valve controller is easily the best money you can spend on this car.
Thanks for the video! If you can get the rear high enough there's no need to remove the diffuser, just work through the small opening where the valves are located.
Great to see! We have our gt3 on order and it will be arriving by the end of september. I’m looking to install on of these modules as well but i cant see why everyone is going to all the work and risks to mount the controller underneeth that fan. Is there no place is can be mounted to elsewere? Maybe somewhere on the underside?
That’s a great question. I really don’t know why it get mounted there. I think perhaps that keeps the device in a generally cooler spot? Maybe it’s to ensure the remote still reaches it? Hard to say really. I figured in the end I’d just do it the way they said …
Hello mate, thank you for your video! I just installed it today on a 992 gt3 rs, it wasn't difficult to remove the fans but then I had difficulty positioning it, I put it in the middle under the carbon part that acts as a cover, how did you find the position where you placed it? Isn't there too much heat inside for the module or cables?
Nice, when the car is in sport mode and track mode the valves stay open the entire time with the cargraphics valve control unit...correct?...valves can't be closed when in track and sport mode?...is that accurate?
@@coreypatterson1386 I don’t believe that is correct. The settings on the remote stay set regardless of the mode you put the car in. So if you set it to open it always stays open. If you set it to close, it always stays closed. But you can set it to factory more which will act normal.
So does this just allow the the exhaust valves to always be open at low revs? Whats the difference between this and the exhaust button thats on the 992 911s?
The valves are always closed between 1000 and 4000rpm because of the resonance, even if you click on the exhaust button. So this is why this thing is interesting, you can open them from 1000 to 9000!
@@AverageCarGuy thanks... is there anyway to check if it has worked - i.e - is there a beep of such OR can you actually see the valves in operation, at any angle?
Nice. As a suggestion, ALWAYS put the tops back on the oil and coolant access while working...cheap insurance🙂
It’s funny you say that, as I was working I almost dropped a screw down there. 😂. Would have been a very long day.
Great, thank you. I will do the same. 3 buttons are: always open, always closed, factory operation
can u describe the first 2 benefits thanks

Will this let you keep the valves closed on a cold start?

@averagecarguy hey, thank you for the video... can you explain how you were able to have the valves always open when the car starts?
Yes, press the unlock button like 10-12 times in a row. That will do it. That’s what cargraphics told me to do.
@@AverageCarGuy thanks... is there anyway to check if it has worked - i.e - is there a beep of such OR can you actually see the valves in operation, at any angle?
@@MarkLyttleton you’ll just hear the valves being open and clicking the open button won’t make any difference…
Ok, sorry, confused now :-) Surely clicking the close button will allow you to close it again? :-)
@@MarkLyttleton yes.
Thank you for this!
How does it compare to sport mode before?
I’m planning on doing this next week(removing the sharkwerks bypass I just added last week).
It’s noticeable for sure. But not obnoxious. I never feel like I need an upgraded exhaust after this.
Above 5k rpm is it any louder than before or is it the same with PSE on before this modification?
@@epicwildrides2300 i personally think it’s louder through the whole range.
thanks...i will do the same with my gt3!! nice job
would u still recommend? any issues
1000% recommend.
