I fucking love the Gundam Mark II. It feels like a perfect blend of a Gundam type and a grunt. I should get myself one of these in the future. Great work!
Ive seen a bunch of gundam builds and videos, but i dont think Ive seen one that puts in as much effort into production as you have. This was an amazing video! Thank you!
I feel bad for skipping some parts of the video. But I really really wanted to see the end result. It did not disappoint. You sure gave this kit some proper love and it is fantastic to look at.
I just watched this video and you inspired me to grab this PG and to start painting! My wife and I watch your videos in the evening, especially the Perfect Grade videos, we enjoy them, so relaxing and very informative.
As always amazing work!!! You always inspire me to build and paint more Gunpla!!! PG is always the best when it comes to detail. Thanks for making all this videos. I learned so many techniques in building my kits because of your channel!!!!
I can't decide if that hint at the end was for Zaku or Zeta. Probably not Wing though. I appreciated the comparison between the other old school PGs! With them being so old, there's not a ton of information out there compared to the newer ones.
Perfect build..just some areas like the front hatch has sink marks ..also at the inner front elbow area as well which needs sanding n filling..not to mention the shield with some sanding would smooth it out...Great job btw bro..I just painted build mine..no added lights..urs is amazing.😍
I'm gonna be that guy Because the earliest form of psycho frame was made before CCA by the the Titan remnants and equipped to the psycho Gundam mkIV G-doors
@@mr.jamrob4505yes that is true but when the mobile suit gundam char's contraattack movie came out the psycho frame was the creation of neo zeon since the moon gundam manga came out many, many years later and although the funnels of the psycho gundam mk IV g doors are made with the The same technology that was used to create the psycho frame does not count as a psycho frame as it is not integrated into the internal frame of the mobile suit.
Brilliant, absolutely spectacular work! I actually watched from start to end and I picked up so many new tips and tricks. As I am quite new to this hobby, I have some questions to improve myself in the long run, and apologies in advance if they're stupid: 1) when you're doing pre-shading, does that count as 'panel lining' since you're separating the panels through shadowing? 2) did you paint the inner frame? I got confused which were armor plates and which were the inner frame 3) how did you panel line those little notches? (Did you panel line at all?) 4) did you topcoat? Thanks so much for making this video it is truly stellar work :)
I got this one for my birthday a few years ago, i unfortunately overpaid because of the taxes at the store $185 and i gotta say i kinda screwed it up a bit so it likes to fall all the time, its a miracle that it hasn’t fallen since the last time i put it up
I started to stockpile mission model paint and for my second custom paint job I was going to work on an hg gm sniper 2 give it the white/medic paint job though I'm having my doubts since I'm painting by hand.
@Otaku Builder What kind of drill do you use for LED installation? I kinda ordered on and it was too big so thought I’d ask before I order another lol. Update: watched the newer LED tutorial again and I guess I should ask Is that an adapter that allows you to use the smaller drill bits and if yes did it come with the drill?
Hello otaku builder and gunpla builder. I wanted to ask if anyone know how to make custom paint like the mg phenex mirror gold using spray paint becaue i dont have any airbrush. Can you do a step by step and spray can that needs to be used? Thank you.
Something I like about the older PGs is how it's more direct to the point, less flash, and more substance. I like how it's straight forward. I also like the open-hatch gimmick that shows off much of the inner frame. I have some PGs. I only get the PG 00 series. So far I have: - GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser - GN-0000+GNR-010 Trans-Am Raiser - GN-001 Gundam Exia [Lighting Model] - GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair Parts Set - GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G I'm saving up little by little to get PG GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection.

Also you should try pre shading your red pieces with a dark green, they’re complementary colors on the color wheel and to me, give a more natural color value contrast
bellisimo lavoro come sempre...sono italiano e ti scrivero' in italiano, mi piacerebbe sapere in che percentuale diluisci i colori tamiya che usi. grazie. ti segue con molto interesse ed un saluto.
Guess some people in US can't swallow third parties model kits. Those exist for reasons, other experienced modellers who need for kit bashing and those who can't afford the more expensive ones
If you're going to talk like you know what you're talking about, please actually know what you're talking about. It's not the Mach II, it's the Mark II. You should definately not be refering to the original as the RX as almost every Gundam type mobile suit in the early to mid Universal Century had an RX prefix in their model numbers. And the GP-01 is one of many mobile suits with the GP suffix in their model number, so calling it the GP0 is too nonspecific.
47:03 that moment right here...damn thats some high cinema and I love it!
InstaBlaster...
The way it flickers first just adds that tiny little touch that rlly perfects it
My box just arrived in the mail :P I was watching this video just when the UPS driver pulled up.

Great work!
This is One of the coolest builds i have seen. This has Inspired me to build some of my own!

Try SDARK
MkII one of the little few Gundams that made the whole Gundam franchise popular.
I feel bad for skipping some parts of the video. But I really really wanted to see the end result. It did not disappoint. You sure gave this kit some proper love and it is fantastic to look at.
For whatever reason, one of my favorite Gundams. Great video.

As impractical as they are in the lore, I love the look of the vulcan pods
Hey man, thank you for this. Now I've decided to save up for my first PG. 💯
That face is so mean. The RG is one of my favourites and man... this PG speaks more to me than all the new ones.
those details.....OH MY GOD THOSE DETAILS!!
Beautiful work, as always!
Incredible. Awesome work!
Awesome video! The MKii really shows off its revolutionary frame details!😍🤩
동의합니다.
May do this as my first PG if I ever do one. Already did the HG and the RG.
It’s an affordable PG.
Damn cockpit gimmick on Perfect Grade so masterpiece ❤️
Beautiful work as always brother, pretty sure it’s Mark II not Mach II 🤜🤛
Yeah haha and there's no psycho frame in the mk2 either just a 360 holo cockpit
In Japan and Korea they call it the 'Maktu,' so that's probably why he's saying it that way.
Beautiful
Wow! Didn't know that the PG MK II is more detailed than GP01. Now i want to get one.
Amazing build!! Must have a lot of time and patience for painting a PG and even adding extra LED’s, but I respect it
after watching this video makes me think how cool it would be if bandai made a perfect grade Alex gundam
If I didn't know better I would have guessed that Bandai commissioned you to make that MG Ex Unicron possible. lol
I can't decide if that hint at the end was for Zaku or Zeta. Probably not Wing though. I appreciated the comparison between the other old school PGs! With them being so old, there's not a ton of information out there compared to the newer ones.

I don’t know how fond you are of godzilla but there are some kiryu model kits out there that would look DOPE if you customized them
素晴らしい‼️
At 4:20 the Mark II doesn't have a pyscho frame cockpit my guy (pyscho frame came from chars counter attack onwards).
I'm gonna be that guy

this is my favorite mobile suit!
As always, well done sir. I'm going to have to take some time to figure out these LED's lol
Dose the kit come with led's or do I have to buy them separately?

Would it be possible that next time you do a LED build you include the methodology/logic of where you put the wires throughout the model?

Beautifully done man. I love the MK-II a lot and the Zeta Gundam series got me into Gundam and Gunpla building
Love the music!!!

I dont like the old PG but you make them look amazing
Keep up the good work
Bro this quality is up there with the metal structure
Nice job. When you paint your hands, do you do it in different poses? How do you paint the joints of the hands? Thank you.

where can we get that paint brush you use with the really long tip?
Fantastic
Awesome as always bro
Can you build the master grade nt-1 gundam Alex soon?
Dying to know what’s that song he used at the ending showcasing the Mk ii it adds so much to the cinematic feel
What spray booth do you use?
Do you sell any of your amazing builds or do you display them all?
Bravo! 👏
Neat, just got to wait 45 minutes

says the guy who built a single kit and hoards a lot of kits that ends up on ebay
I say build some hg rg and mg the next few builds make life a lil easier
超高的完成太震撼了
Wow
Yo when we getting that pg zeta gundam
What is the color of the Backpack? And what is the color for the Torso, is it XF-17 Sea Blue?
Also you should try pre shading your red pieces with a dark green, they’re complementary colors on the color wheel and to me, give a more natural color value contrast
The RX-178 MkII, with the mk meaning "MARK"2 not "mock"2. Rewatch Mobile Suit Z Gundam and listen CLOSELY to the words.
Is the last old school perfect grade the zaku?
I'd say I'm willing to bet, but Otaku Builder isn't the usual Gunpla fan. I'd only expect the most hardcore to take on Zeta or Wing.

Hey if you would be as kind as to link where you get the leds from that would be awesome...
It's in the description.. evan design LED
Is it just me or do old PGs feel more ambitious compared to the current ones?
Inner frames oh yeah. But the outer detail is lacking on the older pg's
PG Exia:- 'am I a joke to you?'
how many hours do u build it?
What is the music at the end. Its beautiful 😍
it is Edgar Hopp - In Abundance hope it helps :)
👏👏👏👏👏

Anyone can tell me what the mk2 looks like?
Lo vendes amigo?
Mark 2
Man, I thought real grade was hard
Kamille? thats a girls name
i cant get the stupid forearm plating to sit right ;-;
Newtype got sue before ... selling fake gundams ... I would know I live in the bay! Hope they are no longer doing that..
