I had a tour of this place by a history professor years ago. You did a great video on it. I live in Alabama, not sure why parking overnight is so restricted. One of the UA-camrs I follow said a cop knocked on her van and kept looking at the big bed in back...as if she might be a "lady of the night. "
Oh no, that sounds terrible. Terrible! That would be absolutely stressful lol I am happy though that we learned a few things about the state kind of early on so that we were able to make some different choices but also that we were able to make sure we weren’t doing anything wrong. I find that it’s necessary to kind of investigate a little bit sometimes lol this place was amazing. However I really enjoyed visiting and I definitely encourage everyone to come if they can because it is such a neat place.
Me too! It’s one of my favorite things that I get to do on the channel is share cool things that allow people to learn more about our country and the people who have lived in it throughout time 🧠🧠🧠
Thank you for watching!!! I love going to places like this because they have so many awesome things to tell us about people and the past but also serve as a reminder of the areas and how their purpose over time has changed!!! I hope more people see the value of the beauty of the area and check this one out and maybe even camp here!!!!
@@BunnyPlaysHere Yes, I enjoy also learning history and things of the past! It is great that that site had buildings refurbished and are in use today! That is awesome!
Thank you so much!!! I love places like this because they are so incredibly fascinating to see the old buildings and learn about the people which once occupied the spaces, but more so to have the hidden tid bits to see what brought each one to this location. Glad you enjoyed coming along for the brain wrinkles!!!! Also, thank you so much for the birthday wishes!!!
Yes, that was one of the best parts I always enjoy going to sea places, but sometimes the price point can definitely be something that deters everyone however this was not expensive to visit and has a lot of really cool things and not to mention they do have all of those special events also
I love Tannyhill so much I go there every year for thanksgiving giving and me and my cousins and fam and sibling would go on the rocks or the mountain to give to the iron works tannyhill I love it 🥰
Thank thank you this was such a neat place and I wanted to make sure that we shared it because it is used for so many different things but also has the really cool brain wrinkles
They were not running the mill on our visit but they were doing a big event thefollowing weekend so we just missed it!! Really loved this place however.. so unique
Very cool! I didn’t know about the VW show, but I didn’t know about several of the other events that they had and I can only imagine that that one is a big one
Thank you so much!!! We really enjoyed this one!! As soon as we get to a good campsite in this series you will see a lot of cooking!! On this trip we did a lot of cooking and had some fun experimenting with new flavors and food!!! We used the Omnia, the Ridgemonkey and Road Pro a ton on this trip!!!
Sadly we have already left the area.... We do not post in real time because of safety because I had a really scary incident happen last year which made me realize the importance of being fully removed from a location before posting about it.... it stinks because I would love to be able to meet some of the amazing people out there but also since I solo travel so often cannot announce my location in real time.... I will keep that in mind for our next trip through however!!! Would be great to meet everyone!!!!
@@BunnyPlaysHere Yes, I absolutely agree. I didn't even think of that. Lol.. Please be safe out there. I hope you enjoyed your time in Alabama. I hike at that park regularly. Safe travels💓💓💓
Ok ladies, I must remind you that the snakes are out now. Please be very careful, because copperheads have perfect camouflage with the leaves remaining on the ground. Keep a sharp eye on the ground. Enjoy your adventures and stay safe. 🤗
Trust and believe I see all snakes lol I’m terrified of them so I always keep a vigilant moving neck looking for them. I try not to show it too much on camera just because I don’t want people to think that I’m super paranoid and give me a hard time, but I have had more than my fair share of bad snake encounters and so because of that, I am very adamantly always looking.
LOL Loved Riley as a Steam Engine. 😅😂 🤣😁❤️
I think it was a great interpretive dance for that lol
I tried my best 🤣
Hello bunny, & riley😊😊😊😊😊😊
Good morning!

My wife and I got married in the field behind the Williams House near the blacksmith shop in 2012. Beautiful park and campground
That would be such a lovely background for a wedding.

Did you get to see the grist mill? During some parts of the year they actually show you how it worked and you can purchase the corn meal it produces.
They were not running the mill on our visit but they were doing a big event thefollowing weekend so we just missed it!! Really loved this place however.. so unique
