    Lol. Demo is fun sometimes. At least with no rebar makes it slightly easier. Cheers,Mike. 💪

      This retaining wall was poured sometime in the 40s so they probably didn't have easy access to rebar as we do today. We need you over here to help with the new one, Mike!!

    You're a funny man. Have you ever tried to break a rock or concrete by drilling a small hole and inserting a .22 blank like a nail gun uses? It's dangerous so maybe you had best not try it. I hope your driveway is leveled out after using your new road drag. Also, I'm happy that you found your spare tire and other stuff.😄

      I find it necessary to empty my pockets completely at least once a day. LOL I haven't used the .22 method to break concrete. The driveway was a smooth a glass afterwards. LOL Thanks Tom & Julie....Late reply....we were camping in 100 degree heat!!! At least there were no flies. Cheers

    Craig you need to find some easier jobs around the house 😂 Bumpers are optional anyway 😉. Thanks Brother!

      Yeah…..who needs a bumper anyway? It didn’t actually fall off but I’m going to need more than a Mazda 5 for a tow vehicle next time.🙈😵‍💫😳

      That's what makes guys like me so tough. We carry a whole Sh**load of stuff around...Better than lifting weights (and you never know when you'll need ground coffee or a tire rim)

    CRAIG!!!!!! WHy the pockets?.😮 That Asbestos was real back in the day my dad was exposed working in the Shipyard. Glad you got a "kick" out of this! Glad you didn't snap your leg off 😮 And then you said you don't do anything dangerous! While standing under a porch that looks like it will fall on your head any MINUTE 😮

      My middle name is DANGER. ⚠️

    • @EverydayProjects
      @EverydayProjects  2 місяці тому +1

      A lot of building products contained asbestos, even drywall and plaster. It was used because it has long, strong fibers that reinforce otherwise frail material. Be careful out there. The porch could have come down but it's the challenge of living life on the edge that gives me that special touch! LOL haHa

      If you lived nearby I would hook the rope to your new Bronco instead of my old Mazda 5 (and, I'd sit in the house and watch you do the work out the window). Thanks for stopping by. All the Best!!
