Did you get the trainer tips cards by opening a case of build and battle kits, or did you order them online? I really like the idea of adding them to the master set, but I can't find them for sale anywhere.
I opened 4 build and battle kits and got 3 unique, and my buddy opened 2 and got the other I needed so I got that from him. Usually though a week or so after release you can find people selling the decks from the build and battle kits for around $5 on eBay. So you get the promo and one of the trainer tips. So I usually just get them that way.

I got the stellar crown from my local 7-11 that sells them as a promo for my country. Each pack comes with an exclusive common Lapras with a 7-11 stamp it's pretty neat! I got back into pokemon about a month ago after years of not caring about collecting. Stellar is the first set I've really cared to master and my first pack was the normal lapras EX then the next was the alt art Briar as well. At this point I only have about 20 cards left
Another one for the books, and another job well done completing the set. Looking good, as per usual. Even though it's temporary, I really like the blue on the binder. I like when they keep the sets relatively small, but seeing all the cards laid out, yeah... the set is actually a bit smaller than I thought it was. Doesn't really seem like that when flipping through stuff online and what not. Not a whole lot of standouts here for me personally, but it's still a cool collection of cards and good looking set overall. Very much looking forward to the next one!
Agreed. I personally love the sets with just an absolute ton of secret rares. They are tough to collect, for sure, but when you get multiple pages of them to flip through in a binder it’s super awesome.
Please could you explain to me what are thoose B&B trainer tip cards? I’m so confused. Does every set have 4 or more lf theese? Because for example the paldea evolves has the B&B kits, but the 151 set doesn’t have it, so it depends on tne sets? Lastly are one official list of theese cards from Scarlet and Violet and Swordnand Shield? Thanks
I don’t believe they were available in prior eras-they are new to the Scarlet and Violet era sets. Specialty sets like 151, Shrouded Fable, and Paldean Fates don’t have them because like you said they don’t have build and battle kits. But yes, if you open a build and battle kit, the included deck will have a random pack art trainer tip card included!

If a set has booster boxes and build and battle kits or stadiums, that set should have them. Any of the smaller specialty sets that don’t have booster boxes won’t have them. They aren’t part of master sets or anything, just a fun little extra to collect. Not many people other than me even bother with them so no, not too much out there online for them!

I tried using new light boxes for this video so I’m still fiddling. I noticed too. I’m not sure yet if i just tried too much light this time, but I’ll keep playing with it to get that shine!
Love these videos, this is my first time trying to make a master set after getting back into tcg recently, have my binder laid out like yours and this video helped me spot an error that had my final gold card go onto the next page, so much nicer to know it was my mistake and the set ends neatly :)
The first master set binder I built I had to remove everything like 4 times because I kept missing spots lol. I have learned to be much more careful when laying the binder out now!!

Im trying to complete my set aswell! But i need help with two specific cards the iron boulder and raging bolt cards, DO they also have holo versions that shows their type? I keep pulling reverse holo versions
The holo/reverse holo versions of the paradox Pokémon rare holos are tough to distinguish. An easy tip is look at the grey border. If the grey border is shiny, you’ve got the regular holo. If it’s not shiny but the rest of the card is except the art, it’s the reverse holo!
The shrouded Fable master set video got me to do master sets now. I almost have it completed along with this set. My card shop has binders like these so I'm on board for master sets now lol

For the master sets, is it a plain normal card then reverse holo? Sometimes I see a regular holo in place of the normal card unless it's just the lighting for me. If yes, are regular holos not included?
All common, uncommon, and holo rare cards are included next to their reverse holo counterpart! In the scarlet and violet era all rare cards are holo by default and have a reverse holo as well. The etb guide is a great starting point for a checklist!

Got two boosters and an etb, along with some packs from whatnot streamers. I only need 3 reverse holos, some promos, and 15 IRs and up. Stellar Crown has been fun to open and I love the art!
One of my favorite cards from the set has to be the Lapras Ex because I went to two different pre-releases and pulled a Lapras both times and I just think it's pretty cool.

How do you know which cards have a reverse holo? I was looking for a list, but all of them just show all the cards in the set; none show the reverse holo versions
You can use the players guide out of an ETB-that has a checklist. Or you can just assume anything common, uncommon, or holo rare all have reverse holos. Anything on the higher rarities, like EX cards or secret rares, don’t have reverse holos!
I haven’t tried to master a set, since I just got back in the hobby a few months ago. Stellar crown looks like a really good start. Like the color choice for your binder 👍

A “complete” set would be just an example of each card. A “master” set is one of everything that can be pulled from packs, so the regular and reverse and all the secret rares. Then you can add stuff on from there if you like, such as promo cards and variants, but since those can’t be pulled from packs they definitely aren’t necessary to say you have a “master” set! The players guide checklist in the ETB is a good guide to follow-I showed it off in my last video where I opened the stellar crown packs and built this binder if you want to check it out!
My fiancé and i just got into collecting (i collected before), and we open a pack a night. It's been so fun! Yesterday was my birthday, and we bought a booster bundle from our local hobby shop and puleld the regular Terapagos ex. Agree with you. I love the rainbow border. Haha thanks! Definitely collect vintage. As a kid I sold my collection, so I am slowly piecing it all back together. Maybe I’ll do a vintage set completion series in between main modern set releases-thanks for the idea!

It’s really one of my favorite parts about it. I don’t pull out the binders super often after they’re completed so it’s a good chance to spend time with the set haha

He loves the opening and trading, and collecting singles, but not so much the sorting, so, now he has got me into collecting we make a good team! Ha! Have to say though, I do like going back over what I've collected...seeing everything nicely sorted lol!!
I started helping my 8yo sort his out at the start of the year and it got me hooked, so we collect together now! I love going through the binders after!! All neat and sorted!! Ha!

The only thing I opened after the last video was my Pokemon center etb, so 11 more packs. No hits I needed at all lol. So then I went to my local card shop on release day and bought the singles they had, and only had to source 8 others from Facebook/trading! Maybe next set I’ll do a video of going to the card shop to buy the singles.

I was trying to think of how to incorporate the pack art into my set binders and the use of the build&battle trainer tip cards is so smart!

How many cards does that binder hold? Is it the 360 count ? I can’t find Vault X binders that hold more than that unless they are the 12 pocket binder

Haha I believe the trainer tips cards are random! I didn’t get a galvantula in my set of 4, but my buddy got 2 galvantula and 2 lapras.

Loving the stellar crown artwork! And the calmness to your unboxing and sorting. I really enjoy doing the sorting too, I find it very satisfying!
It’s really one of my favorite parts about it. I don’t pull out the binders super often after they’re completed so it’s a good chance to spend time with the set haha
@@Pokelou502 I started helping my 8yo with the sorting a few months ago. He loves the opening and trading, and collecting singles, but not so much the sorting, so, now he has got me into collecting we make a good team! Ha!
Have to say though, I do like going back over what I've collected...seeing everything nicely sorted lol!!
I started helping my 8yo sort his out at the start of the year and it got me hooked, so we collect together now! I love going through the binders after!! All neat and sorted!! Ha!

@@Pokelou502 a few medium priced hits and a couple of reverses. It’s a bit harder to buy singles in my country, but cardmarket site helps a lot.

Thanks! The trainer tip cards are cool but unfortunately I believe totally random haha, so sometimes it can be a bear to collect all four.

To be completely honest because of your first vid on Stella Crown I want to complete it and it will be my second ever set I’m finishing my first was paradox rift. Love the vids even watched a couple of the old ones 🙏🏼

Would be interested to hear how you completed it after the last vid. Did you get another booster box? How many did you have to buy as singles?
The only thing I opened after the last video was my Pokemon center etb, so 11 more packs. No hits I needed at all lol. So then I went to my local card shop on release day and bought the singles they had, and only had to source 8 others from Facebook/trading! Maybe next set I’ll do a video of going to the card shop to buy the singles.
