Actually a trick we borrowed from Hong Kong cinema, where they'd dub actors all the time because it's way faster/cheaper. They would sometimes not have lines ready, so they'd have the actor just counting and write the line later!

Seeing this makes me realize how far Freddie has come over the years; from being great on small projects to being an absolutely fantastic director in general. I'd love to see a feature length theatrical release from him at some point in the future.

Despite the fact that this is edited to make it a short vlog, they do look like they run a very tight (and efficient!) ship :D This is only a fraction of a fraction of the budget of Hollywood movies. WHY AREN'T WE FUNDING THIS?
Way back when he was making instructional filmmaking videos, Robert Rodriguez said on any film shoot, you will eventually run into problems. Your options are 1) throw more money at them or 2) get creative. Guess what the best indie productions end up doing. 🙂

I think it's a testament to the acting, writing cinematography... When Joe said the You-Gi-Oh! Line in the show I bought it but now seeing SungWon say it to a real person in the real world I lost it just as much as Freddie did.
