2:09 I recommend dxe5 THEN e6 to reroute their d-pawn manually unless you're extremely comfortable with them playing Bf4 "the London Bishop"... they will try to seal that pawn on d6. and if they can't, a long term weakness in the structure exists on d6. They will try their best to lodge any piece right there (Nbd2 is coming and you have to play b5 to stop it, immediately). At least if they play Bf4 after ...dxe5,dxe5, e6 it will be them purposefully wasting an opening move because the Bf4 isn't doing anything on that diagonal because their pawn is in the way. That's the only downside to 2... c6 It leaves you open to London System shenanigans. and it's too committal especially if they castle queenside
I don't disagree😂😂... I combine so many ideas from several openings. But I love Qa5+. I do it every time I get the opportunity. It helps me solidify the center.

What if 3 Nf3 e5 then 4 Bc4!?
That position may transpose back to the dxe5 line.
👉Line 1: 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nd7 3. Nf3 e5 4. Bc4 c6 5. O-O Be7 6. Nc3 Ngf6 7. Re1 O-O
👉Line 2: 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nd7 3. Nf3 e5 4. Bc4 c6 5. Ng5 Nh6 6. Qh5 Qf6 7. dxe5 dxe5 8. O-O Qg6 9. Qf3 Be7 10. h4 O-O
@kaspachessofficial what if 5 d*e5.. d. e5 B. f7+ Kf7 Ne5+!?
