You had me until you knocked the packing cubes. Girl, if you haven't used them you don't understand that SOMEHOW they save space. Not even the compression kind, but all of them. Another thing, they are great to then put your dirty laundry in after!
Erin Jones lol!! I got so many comments about the packing cubes! So my next video I will be using them and we’ll see if you have convinced me otherwise 😁
Also, when you pack for the whole family and not just for yourself, they are awesome to divide each person's clothes etc. You can even color code, which makes it even easier!
Also, you don't have to put your clothes in hotel drawers. Place the packing cubes in the drawer and your clothes never have to touch the inside of drawer.
??? Right???? I can pull out the "shirt" cube and not dump the entire bag out to find it. Love Love Love my packing cubes.... don't be knocking the genius of the packing cubes
Do you have any recommendations for a travel pillow? My travel pillows have been pretty ineffective on my last couple of flights. The just don’t hit the back of the seat at a supportive angle or something. I’ve about given up on them.
I'm not a flight attendant but I do work for an airline so I travel quite a lot too. I agree with most of the points you make but travel cubes are definitely the way to go for me. I've managed to save more space because of it, as long as you still roll your clothes and pack it tight. It's pretty good at compressing your clothes and keep it organized at the same time. Plus, it also works as a laundry bag and you can put your loose items in it (like your tubs, chargers, etc) so you don't have to dig through your luggage if it doesn't have a ton of pockets. I managed to fit 4-5 days worth of clothes in a 17" carry-on suitcase with the same tips Becca provided in this video.
You are too cute girl!! But I agree with my peers below, I love packing cubes, sorry. But to each his own, everyone is different and I guess what works for one person may not work for another. But thanks for all your wonderful suggestions and recommendations. You rock girl!! You should have your own travel show. ;)
The Anker battery is the bomb, after using one traveling everybody in my family wanted one, evidently the newer version can also charge Apple Macbook Pros as long as they have the USB-C connector.
I know just about everyone depends on their cellphone for GPS etc, but when you're in an unfamiliar place you should depend on a regular paper map. It can save your life. Your cellphone can be stolen, accidentally break or get lost but you'll always have your map and nobody will steal it.
I lost my paper map when traveling in Namibia. Luckily I was able to go into a hotel I passed, pick up an alternative and they helped me locate my hotel on the replacement map.
Hi..I totally agree..I have travelpro luggage which is a hand-me-down...it just has to be said..it's amazing! Love all the compartments, they've thought of it all...its durable, its comfortable..it's a keeper..loved your video..Can't wait to try your favs..thanks😉
You are so cute! I loved this video and it was my first of yours. Love it and keep up the great work. I love your happiness 😊 Can’t wait to watch more!
It makes my heart happy to find someone that plans/organises their luggage in the way I like to! I got a ton of tips, too. So glad I found your channel. You have a great presence on camera!
Lol totally off topic but I would totally get into the habit of snapping those lids on and off over and over like you were. My husband would go bananas and tell me to quit it! Haha
You gotta do a video of 'Luggage Tracking Tags' since the biggest issue airports are dealing with is lost luggage. I've been seeing complete videos just on these luggage tracking tags but it would be great to see a video actually demonstrate on how a particular one works. Thanks for the info! Good work!
You are doing amazing! I was looking back at your first video and your camera quality was (and still is!) amazing! I watched your room tour and I was mind blown when you were talking about all your tripods and microphones! The amount of effort you put into your channel is incredible and very well appreciated! And your packing toiletries video was very creative and fun to watch! Please do more videos like that! I've watched it countless times! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your channel! It really pays off! :)
My travel converter is a brand called Saunorch, made in China. Model #SL-199-4u. It has European, Asian/Australian , UK, and US adaptors plus 4 sub ports. I used it a year ago on a European trip, and take it with me on domestic trips. I leave for NYC on Tuesday and it's packed! I saw the add on You Tube.
Thank you for the go tubb recommendation! I tried them out on a recent trip to Hawaii, and it was so much easier than trying to find travel size bottles of things like my favorite moisturizer. They were perfect! Thanks again.
You talking about the Greek restaurant folks pointing you toward your hotel had me HOWLING. OMG. You are so flippin' hilarious! (And we are alike re: sense of direction. I cannot find my butt with both hands, a map, and a flashlight. Yep.)
Hey, what do you think about two-wheeled suitcases vs spinners? I want a two-wheeled suitcase because I don't trust the teeny wheels on the spinner ones, and I've heard they don't work well on anything except extremely flat, smooth surfaces (like airport terminals), and I'll be going over cobblestones and grass and stuff. They're so hard to find, though - everything seems to be spinners. What's so great about spinners?
Love your video.... although I disagree about the travel cubes. I pack for my family and its ideal when there are more than one persons stuff in a bag.
You have a lot of great tips but don’t know packing cubes until you try them - personally I like to unpack from the suitcase; however, I don’t like placing my clothing directly on shelves, with travel cubes, I can leave the clothes in the cube and it’s not sitting directly in a drawer/ on a shelf
They saved me when I've been selected for a personal bag searches at security. I've had this happen in both the US and in Beijing. The thought of having to repack individual items is just a big no for me, they were able to pull out the packs and scan them individually to find what they weren't sure about. I'm human, I make mistakes with packing. Once it was a metal nail file I flaked and packed, and the second time it was a cloisonne vase I purchased in Beijing and packed in my clothes to protect it. Another time the zipper on a friend's tried and true travel bag broke during flight and her underwear paraded down the luggage conveyor belt, she went out and bought packing cubes after that incident! (and a new bag....)
Goal Zero has a small battery charger that you can also charge your battery pack or anything that needs batteries and it has a small flashlight too. its awesome. We use it as we RV across the country, comes in really handy. Thank for the video. I also have the plastic round boo and the shampoo bottles love love them!
For SD cards, I like the credit card sized cards with slots on the inside. Two pieces that lock together. They have spaces for regular SD and micro SD. And for a few SIM cards. Mine says Lynca storage card case on the front. For many SD cards there are small «booklets» or storage cases that can’t be bent. I like storing the card in a zipped leather card case.
Another use for the Anker portable battery: When the power goes out at home! :-) During storm season I keep my Anker charged because we never know when the power is going to go out and it is nice to be able to keep our phones charged. It was also a life saver on a long haul flight. Love that thing!
Thank you for your hacks! I don't use packing cubes either, but it's just because I'm too lazy lol. I'm wondering if you could tell me how does this tote fit in the underseat space? Does it take up much leg room, or is it just fine? I'm totally confused about all the different sizes of Travelpro totes.
Becca Irene Thanks for replying! I’m definitely gonna go with this one when I travel internationally. I used to carry almost nothing with me because I didn’t know my suitcase can get lost, but obviously they do!
I think you are mistaken about packing cubes. They make everything easier even at your destination. It is obvious you have never tried them, especially traveling with family.
Going to Japan in a month and loved your tips and humor. ❤️ I scored a Travelpro rolling carry-on size suitcase at a thrift shop ten years ago- had no idea what a gem it was. Any case that will last another ten years after someone else is done with it is 👍🏽😍 in my book. I finally broke a wheel on it on my last trip.
You are just adorable ☺️...very fun to listen to and a great personality. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and “osmosissing” (😆) more tried & true travel advice. 🙌🏼
I am learning a lot from your videos! My experience with packing cubes has been great. They may or may not save space, but what I like is that I can just pull out one or two as needed and set them on the bed, etc, then close my suitcase. I also like that every type of clothing has it's own pouch. Keeps my suitcase neat and organized.
Do you purchase the hooks separately for the Travelpro bags or do they come with the set? I've always wanted to check them out, they do seem like great bags and very affordable.
Great suggestions I'd recommend a multiple plig or power strip. Outlets can be hard to come by. Excited about the camera charger charging from the anker!
Thank you for sharing all of your tips! We're going to Europe for the first time this summer and it's very overwhelming to think about packing. New subbie!
Human Gear also makes GoToob's, which are the same silicone shampoo containery things as GoGear. I've had mine for about 10 years and still going strong.
I love watching these kind of videos. It's inspiring and I get to discover new things for travel. I love the Peak Design pouch I can use this for my make up and toiletries. One recommendation from me is bringing your own travel sheet. I use the Brave Era Silk travel sheet. It's a life saver especially when I am not sure on the integrity of the sheets I sleep on and also it protects me from bed bugs and my skin loves it. It's washable and compact and I love that. Thanks for the recommendations! and happy travels!
Hi Becca! I found your information very helpful. I will be taking a cruise in a few months and I have questions about taking a carryon and possibly a backpack. How do I pack my clothes for a 7day cruise and do I have to pay for a carry-on and backpack?
Hi there!! Thanks for your comment :) While I am more savvy when it comes to air travel, I do know that cruises have their own weight limit and restrictions when it comes to luggage! My advice would be to go on your specific cruise liners website and look up the luggage information. Then start packing accordingly :)
I’m too lazy for a packing cube. I don’t really see the point. I just strategically fold and place my stuff in there and I’ve never had a problem with “space”. But I’m a light packer with clothes so idk
SWITZERLAND uses a seperate adapter. The Euro Adapter doea not fit. As for jewlerx it is smart to travel with cheap cusrum jewelery. If it gets stolen or lost it's no big thing. Your also less a target for pickpocketers.
Becca, I went to a store to look at what I need for travel, and I recommended you to a perfect stranger! She was also looking at the same things as me, and since I (sorry) couldn't remember your name I told her you're a former flight attendant.
Thank you for your suggestions! I love packing cubes ! They are not wasted space, they allow more space! They keep me organized, yes and more than that they keep clothes , and various items organized. Added pluses are you can pack one for easy take out for a one nighter without lugging your whole suitcase in...I do this for road travel. On an International flight you can pack one with all you are going to need and use on the flight i( iPad, earbuds, slippers, inflatable neck roll, etc. ) and keep it in your overhead carry on...take it out after on plane and ready for take off. Also, I will leave my items in the packing cubes when using hotel drawers...keeps me organized and you never know what has been in that drawer previously. How about revisiting packing pouches?! Also, if you don't have enough packing cubes, plastic bag work. .. just press all the air out of them before you pack. (With your hands, not a vacuum) Less expensive too. ❤️
Be careful with the magnetic cord-holders .... They can erase data from camera cards, credit cards, flash drives, etc .... Look super handy, yes, but I've lost files due to magnets
I didn't like my wheeled carry on. The wheels and handle took up space where I could put stuff, so now I carry a travel backpack (like Rick Steves recommended). However, looking for something near the bottom is a pain. Travel cubes with see through mesh make looking for something easy peasy. Generally, there's no weight restriction for carry on, and I can smoosh 40+ lbs in my 46 liter pack. I'm nearly 70, and because the straps and hip belt are well made, I carry it pretty easily up to a few miles. My under seat bag has wheels, and if need be, I attach my pack to it. I know it's reversed from how most people carry, but I can carry significantly more than my travel companions. Love your videos. Thank you!
Packing cubes will change your life. Things don't shift clothes around and if TSA opens your suitcase, they won't open the cubes. try them and you'll never go back.
I. Love. Travelrpro. It is such an awesome brand. I have several pieces from them. Travelon is also great, and they have several anti-theft pieces that are fabulous, as well.
You're adorable! Lots of good tips, and thanks for being so well spoken and easy to listen to. Unlike so many with the irritating vocal fry voices. Also love your sense of humor. Good job girl! My husband and I owned a travel agency years ago and took groups on trips. Could have used u then, but u were probably still in diapers! 😂
Glad I found your channel. I'm a senior and find it more difficult to mobilize through the airports and to lift my carryon above. Someone so far has offered to help me but I pay for first boarding so I have the space above the seats. Have you used the packing cubes to test them out? I roll stuff as a rule but love the tips you offered in this video. Keep on traveling kiddo!
I was down until the cable organizers : there are cheaper and lightweight options with velcro, plus magnets can mess with other stuff. And then came the the packing cubes and I screamed in horror LOL I use them because I prefer super light weight luggage and I wouldn't trade that against any kind of pockets! You organizing luggage is at glance on the heavier side. That is your choice, but please don't mock another valid option ;)
Okay so I think that you might not respond back but I'm 11 and I wanna travel to Europe and since you are a flight attendant before so I just wanna ask you this ♡♡ But anyways can I fly back to my country and to Europe?!?
I got lost in Greece too!!! My day bag broke, so I walked to a store for a new one. But I forgot to take a picture of my hotel or even know the name of it, nor did I map my way to the store. So, I literally spent two hours walking up and down stairs in Santorini, and made it back by complete accident. I also got lost in Athens too, I suck at directions. Actually I get lost on most of my vacations and it ends up being the best part
You are right, travel cubes are not the best thing. I personally use laundry mesh bags in different sizes. They adjust, when you take out clothes and the dirty clothes can go in the biggest bag. Happy travels
Great video and tips! Would love to see how you pack your makeup for travel!! Thank you!
You had me until you knocked the packing cubes. Girl, if you haven't used them you don't understand that SOMEHOW they save space. Not even the compression kind, but all of them. Another thing, they are great to then put your dirty laundry in after!

Story, but I have to agree about not being a fan of the cubes. I’ve tried and tried, and they seem to always take up more space.
Do you have any recommendations for a travel pillow? My travel pillows have been pretty ineffective on my last couple of flights. The just don’t hit the back of the seat at a supportive angle or something. I’ve about given up on them.
Anyone watching travel hauls even tho you can’t travel in 2020 😅
Celi’s Destination Meeee 😂😩
For earrings, vitamins etc I use a stacking pill organizer from the dollar tree. I go cheap whenever I can! Love your channel and content
Haven't been able to find those for a while at my local dollar tree for some darn reason :[
I'm not a flight attendant but I do work for an airline so I travel quite a lot too. I agree with most of the points you make but travel cubes are definitely the way to go for me. You are really fun and easy to watch. Best of luck with your UA-cam travel career!!!!!
Thank you Teresa! Comments like these keep me going!

Oh my god my sister has the same power pack. Fantastic for GPS and off course Pokémon go! GPS was a life saver when traveling!
Yes!!
You are so cute! I loved this video and it was my first of yours. Love it and keep up the great work. I love your happiness 😊 Can’t wait to watch more!
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed :)

instablaster...
great video! but girl, packing cubes changed my life, i'm able to pack sooo much more than i used to. You should give them a shot. Xoxo!
Lol totally off topic but I would totally get into the habit of snapping those lids on and off over and over like you were. My husband would go bananas and tell me to quit it! Haha
Thanks for the great ideas and tips. Know what you mean about sense of direction. I will NEVER travel by myself cos I misplace my self ALL the time.
Haha 100% relate

The cable ties? Yeah, I need those in my every day life. Found some equally great ones on Etsy! Can't wait to get them. Thanks for a great video.
I am inspired you sound so friendly and you are a good UA-camr/funny some times👌💖
Have to disagree about the packing cubes. I can get more into my luggage than without them. I've tested them.
You talking about the Greek restaurant folks pointing you toward your hotel had me HOWLING. OMG. You are so flippin' hilarious! (And we are alike re: sense of direction. I cannot find my butt with both hands, a map, and a flashlight. Yep.)

Thank you for all the practical tips, very helpful !
You are friendly & easy to watch.
I'm so glad I could help!! Thanks for your sweet words!! :)
You have helped me a lot in preparing for my next trip to France. Thank you!
You're hysterical! Lol. Love the sarcasm...can totally relate to your personality. Love it and thanks for the great tips! New and subscribed. 😄
Christy Bolagner Hahaha lets be friends 😊 Thanks for subscribing!
Just learned about your channel. Love your personality!! New sub!!
I am glad to have caught your channel early. You content is great. You will go far!
Thank you Stefanie!! :) Glad you're here!

Please try the travel cubes. Other than that your info is very helpful.
Thank you for your hacks! I don't use packing cubes either, but it's just because I'm too lazy lol. I'm wondering if you could tell me how does this tote fit in the underseat space? Does it take up much leg room, or is it just fine? I'm totally confused about all the different sizes of Travelpro totes.
never rook rook It just goes straight under the seat in front of me and never takes up leg room! 😊
Becca Irene Thanks for replying! I’m definitely gonna go with this one when I travel internationally. I used to carry almost nothing with me because I didn’t know my suitcase can get lost, but obviously they do!
Great products! How about traveling in a car for a week!! Should we pack different? Of course stopping at hotels.
I would say it’s pretty much the same except you have more leeway when it comes to toiletries! 🤙🏼 roadtripping? I like your style!
You make me smile. Thanks for the advice! Keep it up.
You can say anything and I’ll just listen... you very likable Becca
I think you are mistaken about packing cubes. They make everything easier even at your destination. It is obvious you have never tried them, especially traveling with family.
You are AWESOME! You have such a bubbly personality! LOVE watching you! Safe travels!
Kindest regards and best wishes

Travelpro was created and designed by a pilot many years ago. Ultimately he sold it.
Binge watching your videos. Love your personality!!!
Moosy66 Thank you so much!!
Going to Japan in a month and loved your tips and humor. ❤️
I scored a Travelpro rolling carry-on size suitcase at a thrift shop ten years ago- had no idea what a gem it was. Any case that will last another ten years after someone else is done with it is 👍🏽😍 in my book. I finally broke a wheel on it on my last trip.
Thank you so much!! Wow, that is amazing that you found a Travelpro carry-on in a thrift store!! Definite score haha! Except :( about the wheel
You can have the wheel repaired .
You are just adorable ☺️...very fun to listen to and a great personality. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and “osmosissing” (😆) more tried & true travel advice. 🙌🏼

I always have portable charger with me. I get anxious getting lost state side 😂 god forbid I was in Greece. Great video and story
Do you purchase the hooks separately for the Travelpro bags or do they come with the set? I've always wanted to check them out, they do seem like great bags and very affordable.
They come with the bags depending on which back you get! They really are so great... I'm not even sponsored by them. They just have good stuff!
Great suggestions
I'd recommend a multiple plig or power strip. Outlets can be hard to come by. Excited about the camera charger charging from the anker!
Can you do a tips for long haul flights video?
Thank you for sharing all of your tips! We're going to Europe for the first time this summer and it's very overwhelming to think about packing. New subbie!
Ooooh! Have so much fun in Europe ☺️ Thanks for the sub!
I have been using GoTubbs (both small and large) and GoToobs for several years now--wouldn't travel without them--ever. And they.do.not.leak--ever!
Where can i find those? I live in Montreal
I've always thought the cubes were stupid with the exception of organizing your stuff. You still fold/roll your clothing regardless.
You're so pretty and I love your attitude! Definitely subscribing!
I thoroughly like you! Cute personality and highly entertaining. Excellent video!
😎😁👍
Melanie Grant aww thank you 😁💞 I thoroughly like you too!!
LOVED THE VIDEO - Random but please tell me where you got your shirt I LOVE IT!!!!!
Human Gear also makes GoToob's, which are the same silicone shampoo containery things as GoGear. I've had mine for about 10 years and still going strong.
Yesss, love them!!!

Couldn’t have watched this at a better time. I’m in need of a new carryon sized suitcase. I AM ALL ABOUT THE POCKETS! Sounds super perfect for me!
Yay! 😊
Thank you. Loved the video. Would like to see more about carry-on only packing light.
Renee Thank you so much! Here is the link to my video about packing in a carry-on : ua-cam.com/video/sy73y2cRDiQ/v-deo.html 😊
I’m too lazy for a packing cube. I don’t really see the point. I just strategically fold and place my stuff in there and I’ve never had a problem with “space”. But I’m a light packer with clothes so idk
Great video and info... thanks new subscriber here😊
Great video and awesome tips. thanks so much. BTW, LOVE Travelpro. Only luggage I use.
Becca, we have missed you. Have you done any UA-cam videos recently that I have missed. You are so fun and happy, love your videos!!😊
this is legit random but u sound a lot like Auli'i Cravalho a.k.a. Moana hahaha
Bianca Oñate Haha!! I’ve gotten that before!

Good morning
I love the way you present.

Thank you for this informative video.😍🙌🏾🙌🏾😇
Thanks for watching Patricia! Glad I could help a little 😊💞
u were asking hotel hotel and they were telling u .....$@$@€£¥₩¥€ 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that was the best part of entire video ....
kerp it up 😂😂😂😂
Becca, I went to a store to look at what I need for travel, and I recommended you to a perfect stranger!
I'm not sure how I ran across your channel, but you had me snorting with laughter. You are adorable!
😂😂 that’s awesome! Thanks so much 😁❤️
hey can I bring mascara n my carry on? because I love eye makeup a lot
yes you can
Be careful with the magnetic cord-holders ....
Thank you!
I love your video...very helpful. You are a joy to listen to, also. Thank you for the tips!
thanks for the tips. btw for power banks , I suggest getting fast charging ports (15w or more), it will save you time in charging on the fly.
Packing cubes will change your life. Things don't shift clothes around and if TSA opens your suitcase, they won't open the cubes. try them and you'll never go back.
Will be in Greece in a month and then on to Italy! So excited!
Natalie Valles Sooo exciting!! Have so much fun 😍
I. Love.
Great tips. I don’t understand travel
Cubes either 🤷🏽♀️😂 I do love travel pro!
Awesome tips. Totally make sense. We have Travel Pro luggage set. I bought got my husbands business trips you rock
Okay so I think that you might not respond back but I'm 11 and I wanna travel to Europe and since you are a flight attendant before so I just wanna ask you this ♡♡
But anyways can I fly back to my country and to Europe?!?
